The 60 LEDs per meter version does not come with a dedicated power supply; it only includes a USB cable to connect to the PC. However, USB won’t provide enough power to support so many LEDs. The LED strip keeps coming off the TV, and the synchronization with the video is poor, with noticeable lag.
If I have to connect it to the PC via USB to configure and control it with AmbiBox, then why do I have to connect it to the network and configure it with the mobile? I don't understand.
Hi, i have a smart tv 55 inches, what is the best kit for my tv? I see that there are 3 options: 1 kit led no adapter and other 2 with adapter. Thank you!
Hi, without the adapter, only USB power supply. The brightness of kit with adapter is higher. It is not recommended to use it alone with the TV. But you can try to install "Ambient light Application for Android". Some effects can be achieved.
i use a raspi zero w, connected to an arduino nano running hyperion. NOW...since ive learned alot more. If I were you i would simply buy a esp32 (d1 mini) and a roll of ws2812B leds. you'll flash wled onto the esp32 microboard and load hyperbian onto your raspi zero w. thers alot of tutorials on here. look up ambilight with hyperion and wled.

@@KnowerofThingsI’ve tried it through Google Chrome on PC and it works with RUclips and Netflix. But there’s a few Netflix movies that it didn’t work for me, I think because some movies have screen-casting protection. I’ve used Hyperion, I don’t know about Ambibox or Prismatik if it will work.
I connected it to the usb and it lights up immediately. When I install Ambibox I can not get into the settings. The icon is displayed but nothing happens with the left or right mouse button. Is there any problem with Windows 11?
That's just not true, the point of tv ambient light is to extens the image on the screen to your ambient, so that you don't perceive the sharp disconnection between the monitor edge and your wall.
damn this wled code is awesome!
I have multi monitor setup and the second screen is above the main monitor, if I do 2 runs can the program support that?
Prismatik supports multi opening. Need to add a running script.
are you running the 2 monitors as one.. or 2 separate ?? makes big difference...
hyperion should also work right?
Semas to have some delay beetwen image and lights than this. With Resberry PI and a HDMI spliter.
how will it connect with pc what port are we using??
Connect via USB cable. Check the serial port of the PC.
how can I do it for my TV? With Amazon Prime Stick Installed

can you use this with Hyperion instad of Ambibox?
probably, I got esp32 running wled, and hyperion on pc
Yes you can. Just copy the IP from WLED and paste it into Hyperion to control it.
@@ceasarcruz8312 so can I make this same effect with esp32 or esp8266 chip instead of wled controller ??

Yeah should so, i'm doing a wled setup right now.. seems super easy to setup and reacts super fast

no.

After connecting to the network, you can directly control it through your phone.

Dumb. The whole point of ambient light is to reduce the impact of the monitor brightness, the way the sun reduces headlights.
