Yeah it will I loved how they glossed over the decision making by Massi that secured Max the title pretty convinient for Formula 1 not shed light on the most contraversial decisions Massi has ever made.

@@Lukas-dn9kf Have u ever seen selected cars by the race director to be unlapped ? , Only the cars between Max and Lewis I would call that manipulation of the regulation that allowed Max to win the championship.
When you consider that we had GREAT races in Paul Ricard and Sochi, it just goes to show what an amazing season we had.
Sochi was meh but exciting at the end, really enjoyed France with the Red Bull strategy and Zandvoort with max’s 1v2 battle
Barcelona was a banger too.
I would add Sao Paulo, Baku, Turkey, USA, Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Hungary, Monza. So many memorable races
even spain wasn't bad
Considering how boring were France and Russia all these years, this season was legendary.
The last bit gave me absolute chills. This season was something else.

Worse than seasons with the dwc wrapped up with 4 races to go? It was an ending that was extremely controversial and controversy gets remembered for a long time.

I'm so happy to say that I watched every single race this year. Just about every single lap. This year was absolutely amazing and it will go down in history for one of the most entertaining seasons ever. No matter who you're rooting for, the action and entertainment was top notch. Happy to have witnessed history! This season is one I'll be telling my grandkids about.

It was because of the rain everyone know it was just luck in the pits. He was around p7 and just had nothing to lose and also pitted

Hamilton won the race, Verstappen didn't. Hamilton did it on pace, Verstappen did it because of luck. There's a difference lol

But I’m not talking throughout the season, Hamilton’s times were way faster than anyone else on the grid, his new engine had a huge role in that. An I’m not sure whether he would’ve. 5 more cars to get past on the start would mean that it probably would have taken him 1/2 laps to get past depending on his start, by then a gap would’ve already begun to form between all the different packs. I think he probably would’ve gotten P2 but I could be wrong
I remember the Bahrain GP like it was yesterday. The fact that the FIA changed the track limits mid-race was just ridiculous and was one of the first signs that we need a new race director
You mean "New stewards or no stewards". They've messed up the entire season by constantly alternating perspective on using rules and penalty's. They were the biggest influence on this entire season, Masi just had the last race where his decision turned the tables.
@@gamm8939 all incidents, especially track limits, are judged by the stewards. Masi has just been the messenger, that's a system the new FIA president wants to change. He mentioned it in his first interview: there are to many persons judging and influencing the rules.
@@gamm8939 Masi doesn't actually have any authority in these situations. He's just telling the teams what he thinks they should do to avoid getting penalised by the stewards
@@Xardom Yeah he doesnt make the decisions. But he sets the track limits. Charlie used to do it all the time. Stewards don't interfere with that. Also, its the race directors duty to refer incidents to the stewards. the fact that masi didn't even refer the T4 incident in Brazil between Ham and Max tells you he cares more about that show than the integrity of it

I would like to say "Watch this age badly." but every day I´m getting more and more worried, that 2022 will be a complete competiton killer and we´ll have one team dominating with everyone else fighting for P3.
That’s the only thing that frustrates me about the regulations next year. The current regulations are finally working for them to made redundant by next season. I pray the regulations don’t make things worse...
@@GTFan8899 I forgot who said it, but someone in the fia predicted there would be a 1.5 second gap from the fastest car to the slowest which is very small
The only reason they are close is the regulation change.
That means the top teams slow down development

Exciting and dramatic season. As a Lewis fan, I'm happy for Max. His first meant more in the grand scheme of things. I hated Masi for the safety car cheese. In hindsight, the season was so chaotic. It's only fitting to end with Chaos.

i admire your comment and cander, pity other hamilton fans only see a poster boy and nothing else, drivers, skill, strategy, technology, NONE, just that poster .......PLUS, it wasnt a given that max could have got him in just one lap but to be fair, hamilton cheated at the get go by gaining the position plus 1.5secs ILLEGALLY on lap one then causing their own loss at the end by refusing to cocede track position twice. Also worth noting Wolffs inexcusable behaviour during giovanazi's VSC when he was screaming at Masi to not send out the safety car so as to keep hamiltons advantage, despite the car being in a very dangerous place for the marshalls. I guess the FIA and Masi had had just about enough from mercedes at that point being that 90 percent of decisions had been in their favour all year. Hamilton=fast driver in the fastest car, Verstappen=fastest driver in a fast car

F1 was something to look forward to during these tough pandemic years. I'm not gonna dive into the rabbit hole of inconclusive debates. Congratulations to max for joining the greats. Looking forward to next season. 👏🏿 The show goes on!.

As soon as Bahrain was over I knew we had a fight on our hands, little did we know it would come down to the very last lap of the last race of the season so much frustration and upset finally relieved, being a max fan I’m equally grateful that Lewis gave us such an amazing title fight. what a year, bring on 2022
Absolutely amazing season. Imola, Baku, Paul Ricard, Silverstone, Budapest, Zandvoort, Monza, Sochi, Interlagos, Jeddah, Abu Dhabi - a lot of great races and moments in this season.

The Azerbaijan crashes were on Pirelli, not the drivers. They didn't just lose control and hit the wall, their tires blew out under the lap target
They glossed over a number of things. Like saying Lewis locked up in Baku because he was too eager to pass Perez. It was because of a setting being wrong

@@zetto156 it was a lock up because the "magic" sets the brake bias mostly to the front which makes the car easier to lock up and not slow down as much as a rearward bias
I noticed too. Some things are framed in a certain way in my opinion. As you said, Lance and Max didn't crash into a wall themselves, likewise Lewis didn't make a mistake because he was eager to pass Perez. Small framing happening in pretty much every race.
It really frustrates me.
because the teams were messing with the tyre pressures, the Baku Blowouts were on the teams bending the rules to get an advantage, not pirelli...

The russia story is so sad for lando, even more sad than in the moment because not only was he so close, the one-two was a race before that so the expectations were even higher than usual. heartbreaking and lets hope he gets it next year

I actually only just saw the post-race radio of Lance in Turkey last year, kind of the same thing happened to him after a maiden pole (finished 9th).

I’ve been binge watching so much F one content to fill my F1 void while in the off-season. I’m Beyond excited for 2022 season! The fact that the cars will be newly designed for a new era makes it even more exciting!
I will never forget this season. It is just.. too beautiful. That's what we want in F1, races like these, battles like these.
In a few years we will look back at this season and realise how blessed we were to witness this.

Hamilton is not the only who has broken records this year. Verstappen broke the record of the most podiums in a season by Schumacher, Vettel, and Hamilton
Yeah but not percentage wise which is what really matters. Can’t compare it to micheal’s 100% podium rate it is just a pointless stat
@@LooseWheelFilms The only race he finished outside of the podium was Hunagry, where he had a broken floor. I think his 18 podiums definitely have a lot of merit.

Albon's "OHHH MY LOORD MAX" is one if the best things that happened this season. It gives me goosebumps every single time. Definitely the best team radio of the season.
When everyone thought Albon would be salty the man helps Red Bull like a true champ.

Nahh, Jeddah was nuts all the way through. Abu Dhabi was mildly interesting on lap one, and massively controversial on the last lap lol. For me, Jeddah was the pinnacle of insanity.
Best season ever 2021, every race was very exciting and that was real racing. Abu Dhabi grand prix was insane and I really appreciate f1 youtube channel as I can't watch it tv.
I only started to come back after the US Grand Prix 2021. So I miss most of these stories and didn't realize that this was the most exciting season I've seen so far since I remember. Haven't watched F1 since 2010-11. Thank you for recapping the year. 😎

Most funny is that some powers don't let fia change the regulations assisting him in winning more poles and races as possible.
@@rufatimanli9966 yea that's why the FIA changed regulations to make Mercedes slower and suddenly Red Bull became the fastest car of the grid not because they made a better car but because of what the FIA did. That's why the FIA also banned engine modes, the legal DAS, and disqualified Hamilton from Brazil over a damaged wing while they let Red Bull fix Verstappen's wing in Mexico under parc fermé conditions. And that's why FIA's racing director Michael Masi broke the rules in Abu Dhabi just to make Verstappen win the title. You're so right, they're doing everything to make Hamilton win, right? 😂🤡

I'm happy to report that I watched every race this year. Every single lap, to be exact. This year was incredible, and it will go down as one of the most entertaining seasons in history. The action and entertainment were excellent, regardless of who you were pulling for. I'm glad I got to see history! This is a season I'll tell my grandchildren about.

Can we make these like an hour long next season? I really enjoyed this. Would’ve loved to see maybe more of the side stories at other teams.
This season was simply amazing with an epic title fight, but I think we can all agree that the FIA needs some changes for next year. They need to make clear decisions that can make the sport easier to understand for everyone.
Or just sack the lot of them. We want Masi gone. And I'm a max fan.

And Lewis programmed to repeat the same sentence after every win: "grateful for all of you, for all the work back at the factory...".

The season that gave us everything we wanted, and beautiful races and battles
When Lewis repaired his wrecked car under the red flag at Imola they said nothing, but when Max changed tyres in Saudi Arabia it was a huge thing 😆 I love Crofty and Brundle, but they have to be less of a fanboy during races. Specially Brundle.
Lewis' car at Imola was fine, I watched it live. Max partially repaired his wrecked car at Hungary and they said nothing.
@@hdr_diamondz he had repairs at Imola and the red flag saved him. In Hungary he "repaired" his car that was destroyed by Bottas...how could they even say something
For real! Lewis messed up an crashed himself and got a free wing change. I thought it was just me that thought brundle was a Lewis fanboy. Seems to badmouth max a lot more. I remember Lewis saying they were trying to manipulate the race in Saudi because of the red flag lol. He tried to create a narrative that they didn’t want him to win because of the rainbow helmet. No you idiot, it’s because they need to fix the barrier!
Absolutely agree. Sometimes it makes watching quite unbearable. Lewis is always faultless with those two.
Even worse: Lewis fake surprise that Max could have a tyre change under red ("that's unbelievable man"), while he has changed his tyres _and_ his rear wing under red ...

It still gives me shivers when I hear Albon (edit: OH IT WASN'T HIM)scream for Max... I am still not over this season. I watch race recaps, highlights, last 5 laps of X gp, stories, interviews, team radio compilations, etc like everyday...

So happy I have witnessed this incredible season, and funny enough it's my first F1 season (actually started from Silverstone but that's when things began to get spicy)

Best season since I started watching regularly in 2013. As a Lewis fan, I was excited to see him finally have a real challenge on his hands again. Congrats to Max on his championship! Well deserved despite what people say. (But Masi still needs to go)
Finally a Lewis can who accepts max as an equal and not some "dangerous kid" as he's painted to be

Ok I’m ready for winter break to be over. Drag all the drivers in from vacations and let’s get the new cars out on track. After such an awesome season and with the new cars coming it’s definitely something to look forwards to. Ahh I’m counting the days until car launches and testing.
It was a truly incredible season which was extremely enjoyable, chaotic and entertaining. Thrilling end is an understatement.
