Another awesome Dave perfect weather on a fab mark, maybe a little hungover you managed to same the blank on the last cast a beautiful marked kelpie top angling as always 👍🎣🎣
@@fullcircleangling No problem Dave myself and my m8 were thinking of fishing Northumberland sometime on the rock marks for the cod as not done any rough ground fishing but just bought a Ron Thompson axellarator to try out. We fished at runnels today Thursday 15th armed with bluey, squid, mackerel for the rays and got pestered by the turbot, ut I'll stick at targeting the rays and I get one someday. Keep the videos coming Dave good luck and tight lines 👍🎣🎣🎣
I always find 2hours be4 the flood n two hours after the best time to fish i find thats what works for me amazing spot i reckin be great to fish it at night tides great video
Great stuff. Takes me back as an exiled Geordie. Can you do a video off the back of the Powder House at North Sunderland Harbour or the small pier sometime? Had some lovely fish off there in the summer on edible peelers (can't use them now I think)....mind you that was nearly 40 years ago!
I find candle wax on my rod spigots works a treat, not too much, just a quick rub straight off the candle is all it takes. It also works well on fly rod rings during the winter, stops them icing up.
Ah ok, thanks for commenting👍my hearing isn’t the best so I wasn’t sure exactly what you said, hope you didn’t think I was being ignorant. Thanks for watching, much appreciated 🙏
Hi mate hard times by the look of things but thing happen 🙈 a fished newton today had 2 out a canny doggie and a small kelpie had loads of wacking bites lost a few too so fished shields pier for few hours had 2lb cod out not bad
You should be thoroughly ashamed of yourself. A man of your advancing years "Hungover"🥃😉Yet despite your fragile state, another cracking video. Some might say that you were lucky to get a fish on the last chuck, but you know what they say: "The more time and effort you put into something, the luckier you get" Well done Dave, and thanks for taking the time to film your session ! 👏👏👍👍
I can do Michael yeah. Best tip I can give is to put mono direct onto the spool, say 30 yards, then your braid. The mono will stop any slippage on the spool that happens when you put braid direct onto mono. Hope that helps mate.
@@williamnellist2555 thanks William appreciate the feedback. Yes you can park along the front sea wall, or further along in the car park, but you will have to pay for parking if you park in the car park. Hope that helps mate.
Hi mate, loved the video as always. Aside from the Bullseye, do you rate any other fixed spools for beach casting at the moment? Looking to pick up some decent fixed spools to sit alongside my multipliers, which are great, but would like some other options
Hi Chris thanks very much mate, appreciate that🙏 The other reel I use which I rate better than the Bullseye is the Aero Technium. Not a cheap reel but the line lay is absolutely second to none. If you can go for a good second hand XSB, full metal body and it’ll save you around £150-£200 on the price of a new XSD. Hope that helps.
Thanks for the video as always. Having a catch up - greatly appreciated!
Cheers Wayne glad you’re enjoying mate👍🙏
Bag of frozen peas on rod at joint then put rubber gloves on , great videos as always mate

@@christravis3270 no worries at all Chris. Will do! 👍
Try pencil graphite on your rod spigot to stop it sticking cracking vid years since I fished up at Beadnell
Will do Stephen thanks for the tip👍

Hi mate, that stuff is 88lb whiplash. Tight lines 🙋♂️👍
