Sonic Advance 3 - Nonaggression ~ [Extra Boss & True Ending]

Nonaggression is the extra level in Sonic Advance 3, where the last boss, Ultimate G-merl, is faced. You need to earn 7 Chaos Emeralds and beat Altar Emerald with Sonic as the leader.
When you enter the stage, Eggman will be Super Sonic's partner. Like every game since Sonic Adventure, this level is played only as Super Sonic, though Eggman will be used to attack. Sonic & Eggman only have one tag action move, holding R and charging Eggman up to ram into Gemerl, opening up a red orb in the front, allowing Sonic to dash forwards and ram it. The longer you hold R, the longer Gemerl's eye will stay open after being attacked for Sonic to hit. The maximum charge is signified by an orange aura. All attacks can be avoided, using Super Sonic's dash. Gemerl is vulnerable at all times as long as you can nail his ''mouth?'' with Eggman and then dash attack the red orb that appears. After 12 hits, Gemerl will be defeated.
This is the end of my playthrough of Sonic Advance 3. Hope you enjoyed watching these videos as much as I enjoyed making them.

As a kid, I always remembered how much I loved how Battle & Advance 3 were connected. For some reason it felt satisfying. Man I miss this era of Sonic, the last we hear of Ryan and OG voice cast.... Memories...
Because as we all know the voice cast was the only good thing about the Adventure era apparently.

Pretty sure the ending image (with Cream on his arm and everything) made me tear up as a kid. One of the best childhood games I remember playing.
Not gonna lie, even thought it is probably impossible, i think it would be cool to see Gemerl in one of the future Sonic movies, his arc was beautiful and it would be gorgeous to watch the Sonic Advance 3 final battle in theaters
He's in the idw comics, and those are canon, so maybe it's possible

What an amazing game to start your journey off with.
When I see this and think of the Advance/Battle saga and the Dreamcast Era as a whole, it gets me emotional. I don’t just mean that in a nostalgic way either. The characters weren’t so one-dimensional as of recent and together they all contributed to fun, memorable adventures. Sega really did have a solid grip on its mascot before the dark ages.

Gemerl is a reïncarnation of Emerl. So basically Emerl is Reborn again but in a different body basically. I hope they bring Gemerl in future Sonic games that would Be awesome.

The what you call a 'mouth' is actually a third eye on the top part of it's head. When Emerl,a gizoid (robot) from sonic battle absorbed all Chaos Emeralds, his eye opened. Gemerl made himself vulnerable by absorbing all Chaos Emeralds to!
Damn it!!! I have never reach up to the extra boss because I could never get the last chaos emerald. The special stage was so hard.

What a darling ending! I actually designed a concept art of a final boss phase whose attack patterns and background are very similar to Nonaggression. I call him Cybergeist. His form is like Ultimate Gemerl but with six appendages as opposed to Gmerl's 4 and is a lot more hideous looking. Unlike Gemerl, the Cybergeist was pure downright evil while Gemerl was just out of control because of Eggman's abuse towards him. Or at least that's what I think was the case.

Gemerl's theme is a remix of Emerl's theme. And Sonic Battle's ending makes me sad.
I wonder why sega hasn't brought grmerl back. His chemistry with Cream is something that hasn't been fully explored yet.

I know this is old but Sonic generations DS was made by dimps the same one that made this game (but I still wonder way there only did take levels from handheld games for the modern era there had both the advance games for adventure and the game gear games for classic)

'06. Somehow they even screwed that up. The soundtrack though... SEGA/Sonic Team never fails to make a good soundtrack. Athough I still think that *His World* is very overrated.

@@arnaldoalange3869 They're not the same robot. Eggman presumably created Gemerl in the hopes of making his original plan for Emerl a reality. Tails managed to overwrite Gemerl's original programming as a weapon and make him peaceful, but even so, the "real" Emerl is long gone.
Now Gemerl, he could've shown up at some point but was criminally forgotten about over time...
I remember those days when Sonic games had such meaningful stories. I like Colors, Boom, generation and lost world but their stories isn't as deep as they use to be. I hope Forces world bring that back

Sadly, "Gemerl the Gizoid" never returned in future Sonic video games anymore. (Besides Archie and IDW comic books)
Well technically IDW is almost like "canon" comics, as Sonic Team from Japan keeps a eye on the scripts and such.
So, in some sense, Gemerl actually canonically returned

they weren't really teaming up in sonic mania. Eggman was just trying to get the ruby back, stall for time until sonic's super form wears out and leave to fight another day. but i do like how much more cool he is in games like sonic mania or sonic advance 3, not afraid to fight against traitors. Unlike against Metal Sonic in Sonic Heroes where he was disappointing (i also need to say that Eggman also CREATED Metal Sonic so he should know about weak points or how to deactivate him just like for Gemerl

Sonic The Faker Hedgehog Dedede hasn't really been doing anything evil since like, Kirby's Dreamland. In Kirby's Adventure he was just trying to protect Dreamland from Nightmare, and in the rest of the games he was either cloned or posessed.

There's something are really injoy about this ture ending is that when I watched sonic x I saw the bound that cream formed with emerald and she was forced to stop him in the end after he want berserk so in this game when seeing her with Gemrald which is Emerald revived in a way she's back with her robot friend 😊
Not only can I not play this game because I hate the physics, I can't even watch it because it hurts so much seeing that ending with Cream, Vanilla, and Gemerl all at peace, when you know what happens to them in the future...

@@HP-64 the Metal Virus arc of the IDW comics. IDW splits off from the main game canon after Forces. Shit was HARD on these three, it's definitely worth reading if you like the tone of the stories in the Adventure games and the Storybook Series

Well, that's his name NOW anyway, but it's still Emerl underneath. You can't really say it's not Emerl when it's still got his same freaking body and everything, and after Tails most likely reprogrammed him back to how he was in Battle, there's no reason not to think of them as one and the same, because, for all intents and purposes, they ARE one and the same.
