I can not see how they justified selling this game for $60. That being said, the preowned $5 price at gamestop make it a great pick up though. It's short but very enjoyable.
@@Ashamedofmypast actually yes it is. It is very much a factor. For example buying a vacuum for 3 million dollars and it only lasting a day is not worth it. Whereas a vacuum for 3 million that lasts forever change the value
I think this game is fun and bad-ass, but I do have some problems with getting the resolution right. If you can pick it up for cheap, you won't regret it!
One of the best bargain bin games I've bought in recent memory. I loved the game, it actually made me want to watch the movie (yes, the tie in game sold me on renting the movie). I had honestly never say the movie before. Besides the Gatling gun bits, everything was super fun. Rent it if you ever get the chance.
I honestly don't know where Hilary Goldstein got the idea that Morgan Freeman was voicing Sloan in Wanted: Weapons of Fate, but he should've done some research on the game, like go on IMDb and lookup the voice cast, BEFORE reviewing it. As far as I know, there's only a few cast members from Wanted who returned to play their respective roles again. Thomas Kretschmann voices Cross. Common (The Gunsmith in Wanted) voices Brummel. Terrence Stamp voices Pekwarsky. TOM KANE voices Sloan in Wanted: Weapons of Fate, not Morgan Freeman. *Again, I don't know where Hilary Goldstein got the idea that Morgan Freeman was voicing Sloan again, but again, he should've done some research before reviewing the game.* This just shows that IGN is lazy and can't be bothered to do some research, yet they expect everyone to believe the lies they're spreading? Pfft, get outta here.
this game is amazing the replay value is real high the only bad things are the machine gun parts and its real short they better make the sequel much longer
As the guy from IGN said there's no Arcade mode, which is STUPID! I mean, they put Arcade Mode (1v1 player) in games like Medal of Honor or Call of Duty, and not in these where you could really be able to do some COOL SHIT against ANOTHER PLAYER with the same possibilities you have! In this game an Arcade Mode would have been REALLY CHALLENGING!
FYI those "two parts" just take cover, you don't have to look up :) and a little tip, for new gamers. when you get to these stations, just listen where they come from, aim a little over them and kill them quick, then take cover.. --- Repeat
well when you think about it, basically every game is the same. You press this button to do something. You press that button to do another. Just different graphics.
insted of renting it you can just by it dirt cheep like i did but still curving bullets into peopes face, neck, brail ect never gets old and i love me some slow mo
i didn't finished it that quick ... You just have to play 4 levels per day and you're set for at least ..3 or 4 days ! IDK, i don't play to much per session !
This is one of those games that aren't too bad, but had so much potential to be amazing. In ways the special moves and stuff are better than Max Payne, but the thing lacking for me was smoothness of control. If it just had that bit more time to be developed and made less clunky, I have a feeling this could have been a legend of a game. If I had to rate this in 2015, I'd still give the game a very decent 7. Mostly because whilst its not the best developed game in the world, its still a lot of fun to play. And whilst its short, the game modes after completion make up for lost time. A top class game shouldn't need a 50 hour campaign. 5-10 hours is more than more than enough in a linear path driven game, just as long as it feels fresh and gives you something new each level.
You can't go wrong with this game then. You might also want to look into Spec Ops: The Line, Viking: Battle for Asgard, Rise of the Argonauts, Alpha Protocol. All avilable very cheap and a lot of un to play. Spec Ops being my favourite of the bunch. If you have XBL, then keep an eye out as it often goes on sale for less that £3.
The movie was cool but only ,if you did not read the comics before. If you did you probably hated the movie. The game was also okay,i liked that they continued the movies storyline, and they added a lot to Wesley's character making him more awesome.
the game was fun don't get me wrong but they did fall short on what they could have done, could you imagine team deathmatch with a bunch of bullets curving around boxes and hitting people?
Bought the movie and the game yesterday. Watched it first, then played the game right after. I must say, the game is a lot of fun and awesome, but short. Definatly worth the $40
As much as i recall most movie games DO suck, but it depends on who uses the franchise, for example there are really awesome starwars games like jedi knight and battlefront, while others really suck.
Hey, I would recommend to get Metal Gear, It's kinda cheap right now, only about $20.00 And the gameplay is about 8-14 hours long. The graphics in Metal Gear are amazing. Wanted is only about 15.00 And is not a really strong game. Also metal gear was the game of the year last year. I like to play Sports,First person shooters, third person shooters, Sports, RPG's, etc/
I enjoyed this game.... It was fast paced action with loads of shooting and flying pieces of brain :D I got it cheap (2 bucks) and I dont regret it. I had my fun with it but I dont feel like coming back to it.
im confused with whether to buy wanted WOF or not. ive seen mixed reviews for the the past 2 hours. the tv adverts made the game look awsome with great graphics by the looks of it. the shooting and martial art fighting styles made it sound even more fantastic. and the curving bullets seemed to be the best point about the game which looked like u can control. can someone plz me is it really worth buying and why?
this game looked very good but I am disapointed in many areas such as, no multiplayer, no Angelina Jolie, and how quick the game ends with almost no reply value whatesover!
text+jokes=serious You can't tell jokes in text unless you say you are joking especially after you just made the graphics suck comment so again chill and think first. That seems to be your weakness.
No body loved WOF that much
Oh yes we did
Haha this was one of my favourites on PS3 so enjoyable 😅

I fuckin loved it!
yeah the game is dope

Length isn't a justification in a softwares price. I hope 6 years later you have learned that.

still one of my favorite games
yea
I think the movie was one of the best action movies i'v ever seen
I've got to say, the game really felt like a movie though. For a game that was made 3 years ago it's really fluid and the story line's not bad.
I finished this game in 2 hours and I loved every second
Wow how time flies... 13 years after playing this game I'm trying to figure how to emulate it on my Air Pro and my Steam Deck.
LOVED IT! one of the best movie games to date... if you like the movie and the comic like my self you will like this game!
I'd have to say that this is probably one of the better move to game adaptations.
these old review was awesome xd
Morgan freeman is not in this game. It is just somebody doing the impersonation. Tom Kane
he was in there wasn't he
This game is more detailed than cyberpunk 2077

the movie is good but the game.. the is a masterpeace
Debatable.
"let's face it no one likes wanted that much". this reviewer was very good
morgan freeman did not do any of the voice acting
I honestly don't know where Hilary Goldstein got the idea that Morgan Freeman was voicing Sloan in Wanted: Weapons of Fate, but he should've done some research on the game, like go on IMDb and lookup the voice cast, BEFORE reviewing it. Indeed, and after it you can just trade it and keep the DVD gna gna!
damn, been forever since i played that game. that was the first game i heard of with cover and it sounded so badass
Seriously underrated
this game is amazing the replay value is real high
the only bad things are the machine gun parts and its real short they better make the sequel much longer
The song is called "The Little Things" by Danny Elfman.
I love wanted enough to spend 60$ on the game
the main guy is such a tosser who eats slinga!
lol first time ever seeing the first guy not being crazy, game looks cool
this game is from 2009 and still look great and the mechanics are really nic
Who else remembers this? 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Shame it is so short, though I think I'll rent it some time.
I hope they make a Wanted 2 or a sequel to this.
i didn't get frustrated with the turret part. all you have to do is stop shooting and you can't get hit by anything
I dont like how the bullets always seems to curve downwards and not like sideways like its mostly in the movie, which is awesome..
the of the best review this guy has ever done
The movie need a sequel
Oh hell yeah, Goldeneye 007 was epic on so many levels. I've heard the batman begins was pretty good too but just short.
the first time you play its pretty fun, it teaches you some stuff about weasley's past too, but its a barrow type game,
You should not say ...spoilers... after announcing the spoiler! Ethically you should say "Spoiler Alert" first.
The best rental ever created. If it was a 10-15 hour game, I might have bought it.
actually it's Tom Kane, not Morgan Freeman. He did a spot on impersonation on Robot Chicken
If the movie stayed more true to the comics (i.e. super-villains rather than assassins) it would've at least gained a cult following.
i love when he shoots him and then goes like "ouch."
The only good thing about this movie is the fact that it has Danny Elfman's first actual rock track in years.
lol i played this game with my cousin like 1 year back and we loved it
prolly beat this game 46 times + on headshot and unarmed mode
I think most people would just go online to find out how to not get killed durring the gatling gun parts.
This review is so spot on in every way.
you don't have to look up on the gating gun... just stop shooting and pop up when you're healed
As the guy from IGN said there's no Arcade mode, which is STUPID!

I hope the reveiwer knows that you can take cover with the turrent by ducking down i forgot what button it was though
em, thats not morgan freeman whose doing the voice of sloan, its some guy named tom kane.
FYI: most games you play can easily be finished in a single sitting
@Bulletcurver679 actually this is when everyone hated ign with a passion, now they love them because they can do very well thought out reviews now.
in Australia, if you pre-order wanted WoF, you get wanted for free, but it's 99 bucks!
the song is "the little things"
well when you think about it, basically every game is the same. You press this button to do something. You press that button to do another. Just different graphics.

Riddick wasn't all that bad, the new one looks promising. But I gotta say, Riddick has been the only bad ass movie based video game so far.
what do you mean..the fighting is quite repeative..i need much action-style fighting..and not run and gun..
Morgan Freeman wasn't in this game he was an impersonator, but I will say he sounds ALOT like him.
Bought this the other day for £1. Going on a nostalgic Xbox 360 trip lol.
that wasn't morgan freeman... but at least they got the veteran voice actor for him
The movie was cool but only ,if you did not read the comics before. If you did you probably hated the movie.
The game was also okay,i liked that they continued the movies storyline, and they added a lot to Wesley's character making him more awesome.
Erm, Aladdin, Hercules, Blade Runner, Goldeneye N64, The Thing, The Bourne Conspiracy, nearly every recent LEGO game, all good movie games.
Well the most hilarious game ending for me. lmao.. lmao everywhere.
so hilarious like ur pic
Dude you started video with a spoiler with like no warning🤣🤣
it is actually 3 1/2 - 4 hours to finish.
the game was fun don't get me wrong but they did fall short on what they could have done, could you imagine team deathmatch with a bunch of bullets curving around boxes and hitting people?
@jurassicpark4ever I agree! If they added a CO OP campaign or a competitive multiplayer to it, this game would have been prime!
Isn't that why everyone watched it in the first place? It looked too cool and trippy to not see!
u can get it for 9.99 at game station..totally worth it
because the gameplay is so fast paced the story itself became fast paced
This or Stranglehold? Both seem like fun $10 games.
Bought the movie and the game yesterday. Watched it first, then played the game right after. I must say, the game is a lot of fun and awesome, but short. Definatly worth the $40
multiplayer could have been badass with bullet curving
yes i agree with you, however ign weren't the only ones that gave it a high score. X play gave it 5 our of 5 stars. thats bullshit
Name of song in video
that wasnt morgan freeman it was tom kane
As much as i recall most movie games DO suck, but it depends on who uses the franchise, for example there are really awesome starwars games like jedi knight and battlefront, while others really suck.
About the little things.
Or something, just type in the Wanted Main Theme song in the youtube search.

this games cool, besides length its awesome. and sloan isnt voiced by morgan freeman in the game, just a dead on impression of him.
I enjoyed this game.... It was fast paced action with loads of shooting and flying pieces of brain :D I got it cheap (2 bucks) and I dont regret it. I had my fun with it but I dont feel like coming back to it.
what was the theme song at the start? its catchy as hell
Wow this game looks good. How much does it cost today?
lol the cut scene graphic looks so shabby for a next gen game..
Seems ok but prob not worth the full price if its only gonna last 3 hrs.
@Anoush13 I agree with you.... It was awesome, but it was way to short..
sure is! Killswitch was just... pur awesome! I'll probably buy the game again just for the heck of it!
