This actor Leo Wu (Xiao Yan) was only 19yo when he played in this series. Pretty good acting for a young one. I love the humor the Jinan academy students bring to the series.. Hao Tian, Lin Xiuyi, Hu Jia, Han Xian, etc.
The atmosphere in Jia Nan Academy is so toxic now. Student turns against student...reports on each other. It's not a learning academy any longer, but a Soul Hall academy. Xiao Yan is now third level alchemist. He certainly dressed differently from the novice ones. 👍 Hopefully Medicine Elder forgives Xiao Yan and continues to guide him. How these people got into the academy...They are not clever, witty, but scary cats... one of my favourite episodes..from how they escaped from that underground room to finding a restaurant amidst the lava..so interesting...and the background music played during the fight of hu jia in the end was mindblowing..
It's really hard to decide which character is my favourite their are so many great characters in this drama, still confused off who is good and who is bad though.
its nice to have ppl yu can depend on in time of need lol leo wu is perfect for this role. they made a good choice here. he does comedy and serious acting very well. he has alot of acting under his cap for this. he can make things so realistic. awesome acting.
