- This video explores the abilities, powers, and origin of the DC Comics character "The Batman Who Laughs." From Bruce Wayne of the Dark Multiverse Earth -22 striving against the chaos wrought by this reality's Joker, the extreme barbarism of his nemesis driving him to break his non-lethal code resulting in Joker's death, being exposed to an advanced Joker toxin that was designed to infect one person when the villain's heart stopped, slowly changing to have a personality that mixes the intellectual traits of Batman with the maniacal nature of Joker, destroying his Earth's Batman Family as well as Superman Family and the Justice League, being recruited by Barbatos to be the leader of his Dark Knights team of evil Batmen, successfully leading these evil versions of Batman in several campaigns against other worlds of the Multiverse including Prime Earth, to his mission to end all of existence being put on hold after a defeat at the hands of Prime Earth Batman and Joker working together; Let's take a look at this crazy DC supervillain, and one of the most complex enemies the Justice League has ever faced. This includes a short, canon character biography and my own opinionated "Sage Rating," which I use to give ratings of comic book and science fiction characters.

When you combine Batman and Joker together, there's only one possible rating you can give.
Nah he.dont deserve a 10 rating yet he just barbatos flunky. Maybe after he been in the dcu a little longer and stack up a few more wins/losses plus expand even more on his character the maybe a higher rating but for me id say a 7 and im being generous.
And I know the Batman who laughs is now doing his own thing now that Barbatos is gone but still the jokers a 10 all day the bat who laughs is just a knock off/hybrid a cool one but still just a aecond rate bat/joker.

The Batman Who Laughs is the perfect villain ever! The combination of Batman and Joker into one being is something that is truly unstoppable and honestly I'd love the "Worlds of DC" to make animation shorts of the DC Metal characters.
Or the worst. The Merciless made more sense. Batman Who Laughs is just trying way too hard to be edgy and shocking, and his origin makes no sense.
Deni Zen his origin makes perfect sense because it plays to the one thing Joker knows the Batman doesn’t ever want to do: kill! Joker knew that he was going to die so he finally went all out, literally burning Gotham to the ground. He was banking on pushing Batman hard enough till he killed him, releasing a joker toxin that would tune Batman into a combination of perfect tactical skills with sadistic, no holds barred violence. I don’t understand how that doesn’t make sense? The only one that is questionable is “Red Death” cause that’s just trying a little to hard to create a Flash/Batman character

Many marvel fans, I have spoken with, don't know or don't like dark Knights metal. It's funny. How? I know there's no vibranium in the Marvel 616 because of dr. Doom. Black panther destroy all the vibranium on earth to save him, his people and the world. Fear itself, Tony found out he has a smarter older brother and learns how to incorporate Uru metals into his armour and weapons. That's game changing information.
Just nth metal or ninth metals has infinite capabilities. Use to make mother and father boxes. Just be using nth metal weapon could give special abilities. Just by having nth metal in your blood can rewrite your gnomes. Making a person meta human or immortal like the Joker. Nth metal was used in anti monitor tuning fork. It's the reason why Speedster can even connect the speed force. Eighth metal or god metal is grade of metal used by the gods, Zeus, Odin, etc. All of Diana's armour and weapons are made of this metal. Her sword can split atoms and her armour durable enough to face and beat dc ares. It's a critical comic to know because it change dc landscape.

+New Sage But the regular Batman talks. Those are more monikers than an official name. "Bat Laugh" is also good. I hope DC comes up with something short but apt. I'd be cool if this became the Joker's M.O. he tries to get an "apt pupil" to kill him, in order to replace him as a more powerful version of the Joker. The whole anarchy thing is kinda dumb & gets old, really quickly. It'd make the Joker more like a parasite, who's constantly hunting for a better host--but can only be freed by the new host killing his current one. It'd also give a good reason as to why the Joker shouldn't be killed by anyone. Plus it'd allow him to come back from death easier.

+New Sage Thanks. It'd explain why the Joker's past is "multiple choice". Not to mention it could be incorporated into explaining why there's 3 Jokers. He could be trying to replicate himself, but the other Jokers are failed attempts. The Joker Toxin/Venom could be derived from the antigens the parasite creates in the host's blood--explaining why it "Jokerizes" others into Joker-like versions of the victims.

In DC comics, there are members of the Justice League that are very well known, and not well known. William MacIntyre (sometimes spelled McIntyre) aka Triumph is actually a founded leader of the League, but on his first mission, got teleported into a dimensional limbo that eased him from the timestream. He did come back, but it's been a dumpy road since. His story in the DC universe is interesting. So please help fix the timestream and bring back the memories of "The Forgotten Leader of the Justice League".

Still, this is one character who scares the crap outta me first time I saw him, and is a malevolent as he is terrifying--the kind I'll never be able to match in any story, and is someone possible even Joker may never be able to rival in terms of evil.

_The problems I have with Batman type characters continue to increase more and more. We already got the og who is overpowered and overplayed to the extreme (even as an iconic, genius human superhero), now we get all these evil batman and a batwoman who are well on their way down the same path. In my honest opinion there are plenty of characters in DC way more interesting that don't even get half the attention or credit given that they deserve way more than these Batman heroes and villain types._

I've never read a comic with that had Batman Who Laughs in it, but ever time I see a panel with him in It he always reminds me of that Cold Steel the Hedgehog OC. Like, damn he's so edgy.
