While there we built over 25 C.R's (toilets) and built and repaired many homes and distributed food and other essential items thanks to this youtube channel and the subscribers. the eldest girl Melrose is such a hard worker. She does all the heavy lifting, I remember she had a 5 gallon bucket of water on her head while carrying another 5 gallon jug on her left hand. She also is the mother figure who takes care of her younger siblings while mother is away working. In my eyes she is a star. I wish someone recognize her hard work and give her a reward. Melrose is really a sweet girl.
Everything looks good in the house, the only thing I am afraid of is the post that is used to build the 2 rooms, should off being concrete blocks instead of 2×4 , when raining season comes that will be a problem

Dustin I'm in Virginia USA, and I put down a hand pump well with 20 Ft. Of pipe and a drive point with a sledgehammer. The pump and everything was only 200 US dollars. And you're daughter is so precious.
Why build a bench facing a wall?
The place is coming along nicely. Looks great. It won’t take long to fill up one of those containers when the water comes off the roof. They might need a few more.

For 5 pesos that is worth filling the barrels. A water heater....we call it a kettle, is it not the same name in the US? Do they not have a power point near the table indoors where they will be using the kettle to make hot drinks or pour on noodles? The electrics are next so I take it they will put in power points for the kettle TV and DVD Player, as well as lights and power points in the new bedrooms. The workers have done a great job on the outside area, so much cleaner and easier to walk it looks great! The beds are meant to be delivered tomorrow, it will be nice to see their bedrooms complete with beds, bedding , curtains etc so they can move in properly. They just need drawers for their clothes, that will also make extra space in the original bedrooms where the clothes take up a lot of the area.

Yes, possibly government subsidies but not sure. I have seen poor Badjao Filipinos using cellphone. It is a way of life there.
They have ONE phone they all share. It was purchased with left over donation money for the kids. They ah\greed to pool their money and buy it. This was on a recent video a couple weeks ago.

Not sure ur location.....but I have seen other YT's dig wells for Peso 1,200.00 per foot, not sure cost of the pump cost. Tyke Farming In the Pilippines.... ruclips.net/video/IrUmSqAsKVY/видео.html his well was 170 feet....actually he has two wells......the other is 60feet but it is now dry so he is digging a second well on the property Check around in ur area.

On this episode of the Philippines: Dustin started his day checking on the house and he got a big pail from Bobby :P Also today there's no water :P (Yikes...) But I'm sure Dustin is used to it :P Then later Dustin took the girls to get the water (That's really nice of you :P) They didn't waste anytime to fill up the water :P (In Vietnam they have them too in Ba Ria it cost about 50,000 ngan for each water tank :P) After when they arrived back Dustin helped some of the water while one of the girls carried the camera :P But otherwise they had a good day :P

Nice work. Maybe you can consider, making a decent size cement water collecting tank where the washing/rain water collecting area is, that way there would be a substantial amount of water that can be collected when it rains. Long term health wise it's not ideal for those little girls to carry water like that it could have complications in their health. Just a thought

Dustin depending on the type of well and how deep the well has to be will be the difference in the cost but wells can very from 10.000usd to 30,000usd. I know the well I am using is over 200 feet deep I believe it is like 240 feet deep. But remember I live up on a hill. Also it is not a dug out well but a drilled well.
