It's a great bumper and a strong look but I've watched about 10 of these installs and everyone has the same problem with the fit. The "lips" on the side of the bumper, (I think) should be pushed back behind the plastic. You had a great cut but even still, there are some gaps around the steel and plastic, especially at the top passenger side. That kind of stuff would bother me. My point is that even with an awesome install, it's still not a tight fit so I'll keep looking for another bumper. I think of all the videos, you did the best job of breaking it down. Thank you!! Also, you're truck is nice 🫡
I am installing mine this weekend on my brand new Tacoma. I think it looks way better than the stock bumper. I am also installing a light bar behind mine. Great video. Thanks.
Looks good man! I did mine a few weeks back but also installed a warn winch in the process. I see you are running the bilstein 5100 or 6112? Are you planning on installing heavier coils in the front to compensate for the added weight? Im installing a set of 6112/5160 but will be upgrading the 600lb coils with 650lb coils. My bumper + winch + RCI skid added ~160lbs to the front so I need stiffer coils to not lose clearance for my 285s.
Thanks bro! And I’m running 5100s so far the bumper it’s self doesn’t feel like any weight added once the winch goes in I may make an adjustment from there. And I hear of a ton of guys running the 6112/5160 and hear great things about it! I’ll keep everyone updated with what I do hopefully it helps with your decision!

Were you able to install the bar light after installing the bumper? Do you have access by taking off the grill?
I was able to get to it with just the grill off! Unfortunately when it comes time for the winch I’ll have to take it off.
