- Two-man shoe shine team! Yep, I had the honor of having two men shine my shoes at the same time. I guess that's one way to save time.
Walking the historical streets of Merida, I found two young men looking for shoe shine customers.
I decided to give them both a job -- at the same time.
Their name is Angel and Juan. It seems they are best friends, like brothers. I do believe they may have been speaking the local Mayan language amongst themselves.

I am in the beautiful city of Mérida, in the Yuchatan area of Mexico. This is one of the oldest Spanish colonial cities in Mexico -- clean and well preserved. The streets are made of stone, and the architecture is beautiful everywhere you walk.

LOL... Jason hat was great! An epic shine at 4X the speed of a normal shine. It was fun to catch a glimpse of Merida. Many years ago I spent a few days in Merida to escape the tourist scene in Cancun, and found it and the people a refreshing local change, hope it's not become too much a tourist venue?

In Mayacountry people are small compared to western men. They are incredible friendly, even when you don't speak fluent Espagnol. And they have nice food. One evening in Merida we joined a big festival, we were the only foreigners, and we felt welcom.

The guys are indigenous people most of the time like 99.9% they are very private people that do not like to talk to mexicans or tourist and they are kind of rude. 🤷

I dont know, maybe its my personal taste. But I miss to see you making videos in Asia(Indonesia,Thailand, Malaysia etc.) They were more interesting and entertaining for me, but I know that the pandemic doesn't make it easy. I still like your videos in Mexico but the best videos of you in my opinion are those in Asia hehe😊. I just hope to see ya back whether alone/with Nin/with Noochi or other cool guys in Asia again Jason . All in all still nice impressions and videos .✌🏻
