    i think sprinting is one of the best things you can do to completely transform yourself. say 1-2 days a week. (ideally on top of other resistance workouts) sprinting is like sending a signal to your body saying "wtf is happening i literally need to become stronger, faster, more powerful and energetic right now!!"

    Im glad that more people recently in the past few years are learning that increasing androgen receptor sensitivity is alot more important than just increasing testosterone itself and thats true for insulin too increasing insulin sensitivity is more important than increasing insulin it causes less strain and damage on your body too while still having the desired benefits!

      Unfortunately I am sure you mean well, but healthy antioxidants and molecules you mentioned in consumption will never cause an alarm of bringing healthy levels of androgens down nor down regulate androgen receptors. Eastern medicine should be the top priority, natural remedies and eating healthy will prevent most individuals from ever contracting any pathological disorder to begin with. Disease always starts somehow and it typically starts from the beginning you put this garbage 🗑 western food and chemicals in your mouth.

      Yeah, according to a gym bro I know, some of those pre-workout formulas have a lot of caffeine in them which raises cortisol and then putting your body into a catabolic state, unless you can take something to counteract the rise in cortisol, like high dose of phosphatidyl serine.

    Just watched your vid on DHT and I get why people believe dht is not very anabolic but I can assure you dht is one of the most anabolic especially on a mg for mg basis.
    Pure dht grows muscle more than just about every anabolic especially alongside moderate doses of testosterone.
    Somewhere along the way "science" convinced everyone otherwise for some reason.
    But 8 weeks+ on pure androstanolone / DHT and you will see significant gain in lean muscle mass, incredible strength gains and very significant reduction in bodyfat as dht is estrogen antagonistic. It also prevents estrogen related water retention.
    On another note it will eventually come out that dht isn't the direct reason for prostate hypertrophy but rather diet, cleaners, BPA and all the other estrogenic / estradiol mimicking substances most are exposed to daily... over many years your body ramps up dht through an unnatural pathway alongside estrogen that isn't supposed to be present and as you know this tends to occur at age 50 onward. No surprise there considering being bombarded with estrogen mimickers This raised dht kills testosterone levels further contributing to the cycle.
    All of this is easy to prove.
    Other major issue aside from the nonsense about dht, and all the Finasteride use etc is why is no one raising the alarm bells about the crashing testosterone levels over the last 4-5 decades! The numbers of boys who are years late to puberty, and never fully develope can not be an accident because it's so prevalent.
    Maybe even the very reason for the ever increasing numbers of feminine males yet no one is questioning it.
    Don't take my word for anything I've said... prove me wrong.
    Great channel by the way.

In my case, I was already doing everything correct, with special attention to the 3 pilars, sleep/nutrition/sport, yet testosterone was low at 28, I was actually hardcore trying to optimize my T for 2 years with no luck so I jumpen onto it.
      You accomplished it, but lets not forget there are a lot of other factors as genetic, as I said, you probably were doing things really shitty thats why your T was low, my T was low even doing everything right at 28. So lets not fall into the survivorship bias, "I can do it, so everyone can".

      probably not. Berberine helps with blood sugar metabolism, but this really only helps to lower blood sugar quicker after meals. Doesnt really help to lose fat. The most effective way to lower blood sugar after meals is to do set of push ups, walk around the block, or do some air squats after a meal.

    Do we have to worry about hormones binding to ARs and blocking T? E.g., the weak T metabolites like androstane, or estrogens, or even cortisol. Does cortisol bind to AR? I think I read that once. Is there a way to keep ARs "clean" so only T can bind to it?

    • @swoops41
      @swoops41 7 месяцев назад

      Estrogens aren’t androgens, so they don’t attach to the AR. They attach to their own ER

    • @NutritionLibrary
      @NutritionLibrary  7 месяцев назад

      no. But there is crosstalk pathways between receptor types i.e. ARs and ERs. Estrogen acting on ERs can suppress AR activity, but it isnt direct in the sense that it actually "blocks" the receptor. If you want to keep them "clean" this would probably be best served by strictly avoiding food phenols that literally block ARs.

    Hello, first of all I will just say that I very much regret that I did not have the knowledge that you provide here a few years ago. I used to have a lot of energy and high libido - I wanted to exercise, date girls and generally wanted to live. Unfortunately, at some point I started VERY exhausting and frequent training (often on an empty stomach) based mainly on intense running and a low-calorie diet. Add to that a lot of stress at work and my libido has completely disappeared for 4 years. At first I didn't know what was happening, I was desperately looking for a solution and I even started taking external testosterone, but it did absolutely nothing for me - I didn't feel ANY improvement. Today I know that my androgen receptors have suffered due to this chronic stress. My cortisol levels are still in the upper limits, or slightly above the norm. I feel tired all the time and I wanted to ask you, if I managed to lower my cortisol level, would there be a chance that my androgen receptors would regain their sensitivity? I will be very grateful to you for your answer. Regards

    Testosterone does not downregulate the AR at all. There's plenty of studies to back up the fact that AR activation leads to hyperplasia, and thus more ARs for test to bind to.
    Specifically true with DHT. Which is why inhibition of DHT can cause so many problems.

      What you guys don’t understand is DHT
      Does not actually get to touch your muscles and bone. It is produced locally in the scalp, prostate and facial skin.
      That’s it. It serves no function after Puberty, and there’s people born without DHT enzymes and they have no problems
