You're welcome❤ Unfortunately, I don't have a black head machine and I don't have access to one but I strongly believe that at least one of the first two methods should work on a black head machine. If you have access to one, please try it and kindly give us a feedback here so that other people can benefit as well. Remember to loosen the tension and use the highest (or close to highest) stitch length on your machine. ✌
Hello I use either HA or DB needles on both machines and also 100% polyester thread. I do not think it’s about the needle. I think it’s the thread that you are using or maybe you didn’t ease the tension on your machine...or maybe the fabric you’re gathering is too thick Can you first change the thread that you’re using?
@@wne-mhr oh, I am so sorry What kind of machine do you use - domestic or industrial? Did you try the pull method.... and I hope that you only pulled it very slightly? In fact the thread should glide through your fingers very freely. Can you try 1 layer of tulle and let’s see if it will work? And yes, your machine should be on the highest tension and highest stitch length
what if I don't have different tensions in my Brother machine? I only have stitch length and I chose the highest (10) but it was too tight on the fabric and the thread broke when I tried to gather. Is there a way to make it more lose without that tension setting?
Hi I'm not quite certain that there are machines with no tension adjustments. Please check your machine manual or google for your machine brand to help you adjust appropriately. Unfortunately I don't use Brother so I cannot advise further. I am sorry. If your thread breaks, it could mean that the tension is too tight If the thread is too tight on the fabric, it could mean that you chose the lowest stitch length on your machine
@@GraceyStitches I guess so. I'm a newbie, so I had no idea. I have the options to choose from the different kinds of stitches - straight, zigzag etc. and then the tension from 0 - 9. It's a small machine called Hugin major X... ? So maybe it is only for more simple sewing?
You're a life saver! Thank you!

Is it honna work for any sewing machines?and thanks for the video and ypur time it really helps a lot
yes, it will. 98% sure
What stepper foot did you use for the industrial machine. Nice video🙏
Hi
The regular foot. The most common one.
What kind of needle do you use? And also what kind of yarn cause of I Try the second method my yarn always rips halfway. Do you have any tip?

Whats the width of the tulle strips?
Tulle fabric is soo light. The more you use, the more fullness you'll have. It can never be too full.
Good.whats the name of the machine
My domestic machine is Empisal
I can't choose stitch length, so I doesn't work for me. 😥
Really? Are there sewing machines that have only one stitch length?
What brand of machine do you use?

@@SarahLdk try using a higher tension with a straight stitch then
If that doesn’t work, try the zigzag method
Okay, okay..
OK
🤣🤣🤣
I will try the methods out. Tulle is so difficult for me 🥲
