For those who don’t know Dahomey is present day Benin West Africa. The name changed after we got colonized by the French. If you travel to Benin today, you can go to a part of the country called “ABOMEY” and the kings palace is still there. It is now a touristic place. It is very important for us as blacks to know our history. I know this because i was born and raised there. It’s wild to me that people especially our people never heard of this or that this was never taught. Stay blessed folks✊🏿

I’m also so moved by the history that was not shared, on purpose and I see why! You can’t hold a people down by telling them the full truth about themselves and sadly because of our relationship with this country and colonizers we drank the kool aid, forcibly and then habitually. Black people, men and women you need to go do unbiased research on this movie for it is a total Farce! The movie was written and produced by mostly whyte Liberal women, they changed the name of the tribe, the kingdom and it's total history to appease a certain demographic for they know black people will contribute to it's success not being intelligent enough to do your own research! The small West African country is currently called the Republic of Benin, at the time these women warriors fought it was called the Kingdom of Dahomey. Dahomey was actually the biggest SLAVE trading kingdom in all of Africa, the warrior women are known as the Dahomey Amazons, they were brutal, could Never marry, never have kids, never have sex unless it was with the King! They practiced fighting techniques all day and all night, They were formed for there was not enough male warriors to fight for they had lost thousands in previous battles, they were also formed to protect the king, his personal bodyguards. So although they did exist and were a formidable force, their primary job was raiding other tribes, mutilating them, and enslaving those that did not fight back and lived. It is estimated that around 60 to 75% of all slaves captured in the Trans Atlantic Slave Trade were enslaved by the Kingdom of Dahomey and sold to other countries including America, and the Dahomey Amazons played a major role in this. So remember as you watch this film and line the pockets of wealthy Liberal whyte women and star struck black women, the women warriors that your watching 7 times out of 10 were the ones that helped in the capture of your ancestors and is how they ended up here! These Liberals only wish to portray black women as savages, aggressive nature, no femininity, no children having, no husband having women (sounds just like todays BW and not by accident) helping to push their feminist agendas! Go do some damn research on the Dahomey Amazons Please!!
