according to my thinking, nicos mall must have somehow noclipped into a level of the backrooms, and has made everyone somehow forget about it as if the mall didn’t exist in reality at all.
Not sure if that's possible, however there's a chance it somehow wound up in "the blue channel" and because a backrooms level... read the wiki!
