Homemade Hamburger Helper Recipe: 2 Tablespoons Butter 1 yellows onion Diced 3 clove garlic, Minced 1 LBS ground beef Salt and Pepper to taste 2 tablespoons tomato paste 12 OZ egg noodles 2 1/2 Cups beef broth 1 tablespoon grainy mustard 4 Dashes Worcestershire sauce 1/3 cup sour cream 2 Tablespoon heavy cream 2 tablespoons chopped green onion STEP 1: heat the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and cook for 1 minute. Add the ground chuck and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cook the meat, crumbling as you go, until cooked through, about 5 minutes. Add the tomato paste and cook for about 30 seconds. STEP 2: Add the noodles, broth, 1 cup hot water, the mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Give a big stir and bring to a simmer. Cover and allow everything to simmer, stirring occasionally and adding up to 1/2 cup more water if necessary, until the pasta is al dente and the sauce has thickened, about 12 minutes. Stir in the sour cream and heavy cream and cook for 1 additional minute or until the pasta is tender. STEP 3: Remove from the heat. Sprinkle over the green onions and serve directly from the pan.
Roxane, if you get in the pool and sit down, your pup will probably try to join you. It's worth a try while she's a pup. She may be one of those dogs that hate water, so if she doesn't get in when you're in there, she probably never will.
I used to turn it into a game for them, throwing their favourite toys in the pool, or if theyre food motivated more than toy motivated, treats into the pool for them to "fetch".got them used to the pool and water without forcing them but made it a fun experience for them too. Always seemed to work :) cooked cocktail sausages are a favourite for mine for treats and what i used for the pool, that and a squeaky tennis ball. They may want to put the other dogs "away" while they work on lilith training her with the pool, so she can do it at her pace and without distraction and then after that she will likely watch the big dogs and decide if its something she wants to participate in. Its possibly because shes so small and jumping in and out is daunting for her too, so perhaps a smaller container that doesnt have as tall sides just for her might help also. She will get ut eventually if shes going to be a water baby, but then again some dogs just dont like water or find it fun. X
If you didn't watch off grid with Doug and Stacy. They just said you need to get your hay from the first cutting this year because there might not be a second or third this year. Two hay farmers chatted with them and said they were concerned about the growth of their hay. Since you use it for your animals might stock up.
Wyatt is such a good boy lets hope he stays that way and life dose not sour him!! At least he is not in a big city and has all the nature around him !!! even if in later years he goes to live in a big city using his skills he has acured living in the country !! Thats what my well adjusted son has done !!! Lived in the country till he met his partner who likes city life !! 💞💕💖💝 Making $$$$
I love the cooking aspect, my mom fed us hamburger helper meals growing up, all varieties and tuna helper, brought back memories, I'm sure I'm not the only one that has noticed how small the the hamburger helper boxes have become, I now know why you make your own , less preservatives, and better quality and flavor, oddly the smaller boxes still require 1 pound hamburger but way less noodles, for an average family you would have to buy 2 boxes for proper portions, with Wyatt & Ant you have 2 men and yourself, that's why I'm stealing your recipe, I'm single again and leftovers taste better a day or 2 later! Thank you for triggering my memories! I want to cook now, you made my mouth water ! Please show more cooking as I have to fend for myself now and learn how to do it, thanks !!!
If you get some Burlap and wet it down, and hang it on the sides the wind will help cool your Rabbits. Also get some ceramic tiles, put them in the freezer over night and put them in the cages, when the heat gets unbearable.
You guys have created such a wonderful life for your family. All the sacrifices and hard work has finally paid off. Wyatt is such a cute boy and he us growing up so fast. The mini splits are going to be great.
Wyatt is a great help and as he learns more he'll be more help. Loved seeing him and all of you again.. I figured you had enough veggies in your garden so sent some flowers to add some colors. LOL GG
On our rabbit hutches, we use hessian bags tacked onto the wood above there doors so we can pull it down for shade and rain...then also wet it down if its too hot cause then the breeze hits it and cool air for them. Then you can just roll them up and tie it so it stays up.
Your garden is looking awesome. I’ve been watching your garden growing and my 😮 squash, is running out of my ears now. They are the yellow crookneck. Your pepper is doing like my, slow but looks great.
Roxanne when you said Hamburger Helper I almost gagged until I saw that it is homemade and a really tasty looking concoction! I’ll have to give it a try.
This is just a suggestion to put the mini split for your living room on the other side of the house so you don't have to look at the lineset on the front of your house.
So nice to see Wyatt outside helping! Best fertilizer organic fertilizer on earth is animal poop so I am not surprised that the one you added to your garden flourished!🙏🙏🙏Blessing’s
I have the same relationship with one of my sisters. You have to know that what you are doing is good for you and your family. I just pray one dsy my sister will come around. Wish the same for you.
I was raised around farm animals, our chickens were never kept in there big cage , they were let out to roam free and they stayed around and went home in the late evening to roost. We had a door to close them up for the chickens safety at night plus our dogs watched out for them during the day and night ...... only the rabbits stayed caged . Our ducks were done just like the chickens .... that's one chore I didn't like was cleaning out the coop .lol
I have 2 12k mini splits, Pioneer units, in our 40 ft 5th wheel rv. We have 2" dense wall foam insulation. Well built unit. We can cool or heat this unit in 100 degree east Texas heat and down the 4 degrees cold . You should have better insulation so no more that we have you should need. You will be amazed how efficent they are. We are running our entire unit on 4500 watt solar and 12k inverter. 400 ah lithium batteries.
I would personally put the living room a/c unit on the back side where the deck is so u don't see the lines coming out of the wall on the front of your house I would hide them on the backside where won't be seen 😊
Hi I love you guys. Roxane you are such a good cook, love your recipes. Yummy. You both work so hard. Anthony you really did a great job in the house. Wyatt (spelling ?) is so adorable. Even your chickens love you, never seen chickens jump on someone. Well, I’m from NY, maybe they do. But it’s so sweet. May i make a suggestion? You have Roger rabbit on one end of the cage. Maybe it’s better in the middle? Both female bunnies will get used to him and get to see him. The female on the opposite end doesn’t even see him. Your animals are so fortunate. God bless you🙏 From NY
You guys need one of those chicken catchers. It's a long metal pole with a wooden handle and a hook-like loop in the metal at the tip to snare a leg. My aunt and uncle had several of them on their farm when I was growing up. It doesn't hurt the chickens. You just use it to get their leg in the loop, which is only slightly wider than their legs, so they can't pull their feet out of it.
I was thinking that maybe you could make some retractable or removable shutters so that when winter comes, you can let the shutters go down and in the summer you can prop them open in the front and in the back basically in the back and on the sides
Sam at Green Acres has step by step playlist on installing the Mr Cool mini splits in his single wide mobile home. He may have some tricks that will help you.
I think I watched this video all day. LOL had it on pause and kept coming back. 🎉❤😂 Great job on all counts. Funny how the hens go broody when there’s NOTHING THERE! One Jersey Giant was pecking and yelling at me today but we got her out.
My Lilly fell in my neighbor's pool when she was a puppy, and now she won't get in anything deeper than a mud puddle, and she LOVES those 🤣...Ha that was one very ticked off hen when you caught her 😂.... Yum that looked delicious Rox 🤤
I must have missed it in previous clips of the inside of the house, but this is the first time I've seen the table with someone eating at it.. so it's by the window I guess. I expected it to be in the center of the room.. but all good..
Lilly will like the pool when it gets hotter and the big dogs keep going in I fill water in to two litter and a one gallon jug. Then add miracle grow. Gallon jug is for a planter I adopted down town. It was not looking as good as all the other planters.
Mr Cool has the easiest DIY mini split setups ever...😂😅 Just make sure the holes in the right spot! Lol Roxanne, homemade Hamburger Helper around my house is affectionately known as slop, goulash, or poor man's stroganoff. Love what ya'll are doing ❤️
Hi Anthony and Rox. Im a fairly new subscriber from the UK. Me and my wife are currently catching up on your videos. I've just watched the episode with all the flooding where you were looking at how the road was washing out. I don't know if you have them in the USA but in the UK we regularly use "Gabions" to control erosion in difficult spots. They are basically wire cubes 3 foot or 4 foot square. You would use the backhoe to dig out the area. Put a cube in place, fill it it with rocks (small ones from the river are fine) then wire it shut. You can use as many as you need. If you need to stack them up just wire them together. If they don't sell them over there i'm sure you could make your own with some heavy duty mesh, like those cattle panels. Hope this helps Steve
The garden beds are looking great, Rox! (But) all the grass and weeds are sucking up the nutrients from your veggies just when they need it most. Everything that's not to be eaten needs to come out. Dinner looked tasty too! 👍🏻👍🏻
Any Air Conditioning is gonna be pricey, but when it gets super hot/muggy, you'll go awe...it was worth it! LOL Or if your like my hubby, he says I don't care what it cost.(Of course he does) Dinner sure looked good! Chicken's look happy, and rabbit's got shade, and the dog's pool is ready for summer! I'd say ya had a really good day! LOL
Imagine how cute it is in person it looks gorgeous around your home/house 🏡. The chickens 🐥 🐔 and rabbits are happy 🐰 Wyatt so handsome have a wonderful day GOD BLESS.

Hey Roxane, My Father in Law every year put chicken manure in his veggie garden. Man, did he ever have the greatest crops, everything he planted was great especially the tomatoes.
Homemade Hamburger Helper Recipe:
2 Tablespoons Butter
1 yellows onion Diced
3 clove garlic, Minced
1 LBS ground beef
Salt and Pepper to taste
2 tablespoons tomato paste
12 OZ egg noodles
2 1/2 Cups beef broth
1 tablespoon grainy mustard
4 Dashes Worcestershire sauce
1/3 cup sour cream
2 Tablespoon heavy cream
2 tablespoons chopped green onion
STEP 1:
heat the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and cook for 1 minute. Add the ground chuck and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cook the meat, crumbling as you go, until cooked through, about 5 minutes. Add the tomato paste and cook for about 30 seconds.
STEP 2:
Add the noodles, broth, 1 cup hot water, the mustard, and Worcestershire sauce.
STEP 3:
Remove from the heat. Sprinkle over the green onions and serve directly from the pan.
Thank you!!
Thanks for the Recipe Share!!
A yummy recipe
Thank you Roxanne!! I can’t wait to try this recipe!
Thank you for the recipe. Will make this very soon as it looks so appetising.
I love that Key & Peele have named so many of your chickens.

What a great idea !!
Chicken manure is one of the best things to put on the garden ❤❤

Those two speckled hens are beautiful😊
We love our Splash Morans :)
Walker Farm Fam freezes water bottles then puts them in with the rabbits on real hot summer days to keep them cool for awhile.
Yeah i watch walker Farm Fam they are great !!👍
I like to see a farmer take pride in his animals! ✌️
A big fish net is the best tool to have with chickens. So easy to catch them .
Wyatt so cute “anything you say can be used against you”. Good one lil buddy 🥰🇨🇦

You need to do an episode how you make your calzones I would really like to know how to do that. It would be awesome.
Lll l
When I raised rabbits I would put a frozen bottle of water daily in their hutch to keep them from dying in the Tn heat. 😊
Thanks for having us over for a spell!!! Loved the daily routine and your cooking dinner…could almost taste the dinner!!!❤
Yes it is like we are there for a moment in their lives but they do not see us must be a bit weird !!!
Buy some cheap ceramic tile 12x12 for rabbit to lay on and keep cool, as well as keep them off wire, too.
Nice job cleaning out the chicken coop. The dinner looked yummy.
I use a large fish net to catch my escaped chicks. Getting the AC in will be very nice! Your garden looks great
I thought that when he was skillfully diving for the hen !! Hope Anthony is not hurting now !!🤔
Yummmm😊😊😊
A large fishing net helps to catch wayward chickens😉

Enjoyed the show. See ya on the next episode.
Great job on the recipe Rox...
Nice to see you guys finally enjoying your home as it is meant to be. Y'all worked hard but your rewards are great. Hugs!
If you get some Burlap and wet it down, and hang it on the sides the wind will help cool your Rabbits. Also get some ceramic tiles, put them in the freezer over night and put them in the cages, when the heat gets unbearable.
I've seen a fan being used so they get a breeze when it's hot..
Great job family. Love your cooking Roxie!
Dinner looked delicious!
Look at Country Cajun they did a dry pour slabs works really good. Alot easier than cement mixer.
Nice seeing Wyatt helping out. 😊Anthony your a pet lover indeed 😊 Roxanne the garden look great 👍
Dinner look yummy 😋
Nice to see Wyatt helping with the chores. Hands on learning👍. Good luck with the mini splits. Roxanne your garden looks great. Take care✌️🇺🇸❤️
I know just brilliant !!!😍😍
Those red eggs are beautiful
Pickled eggs- u can make egg salad wth pickled eggs- use in potato salad just eat etc

Gardening shade cloth might be a better option for the rabbit hutch

Ita honestly really really good 👍
Enjoyed Watching that dinner looks yummy
You might need to put those three chickens in the hoop coop for a few weeks. That should stop them from being broody.
Chickens do what chickens do. Lol! Glad to see Wyatt helping. I thought you'd make little awnings out of the tin for the rabbits.
Lol that’s what I thought too
Me too.,..,.
Hi Ant, we have the Mini Splits in our home and they are mounted on the side of our home. This is because of hurricane as we are clise to the beach.
This is just a suggestion to put the mini split for your living room on the other side of the house so you don't have to look at the lineset on the front of your house.

Rabbit poop can be had directly to garden no compose pile
@@chrisswift8098 They eat it twice !!! A bit grose but !!💩

Make the rabbits a ramp and second floor. How cute would that be!
Oh yeah i!! f they are going to make more bunnies give them a second floor !!🤣🤣😂😂
Enjoyed and thanks!!!

My son has his hvac masters and he had to get linesets for our home, they are very expensive, but, you have to have heat and air!

I fill water in to two litter and a one gallon jug. Then add miracle grow. Gallon jug is for a planter I adopted down town. It was not looking as good as all the other planters.
Might have been too deep for her !!
Have you guys looked into the deep-layer method for chicken coops? I think those only get cleaned up once or twice a year.
Very hard to “break up” a broody hen!
They are on a mission good distraction !!!

Imagine how cute it is in person it looks gorgeous around your home/house 🏡. The chickens 🐥 🐔 and rabbits are happy 🐰 Wyatt so handsome have a wonderful day GOD BLESS.
Gotta think about trying to put the units where the sun isn't going to be hitting them all day. It'll make them work really hard when its hot.
It was great seeing Wyatt out there with you. The garden is looking good. And dinner looks great.

Harbor freight hall master 2000lbs 35$
I've been wanting to get mini splits, but it's so hard to justify the cost for us. We live in the Northeast and rarely need air conditioning.
We wish we could get away with just a single AC unit, the heat and humidity here just will not allow it 😫
Thank y'all for this! A great video! Nice garden! Glad you are getting the split units! Chickens are looking great! Many eggs! I love y'all so much!
Roxanne, you’re officially a green thumb! 👩🏻🌾🥗🍉🍈🫐🥒🍅🥦🫑🌽🥕🧅and 🥚🥚🥚🥚🥚🥚!

Great video love seeing the chickens, rabbits and of course the dogs. So nice to see the garden and Roxanne cooking her homemade Hamburger Helper. YUM
