- Hello and welcome to my latest tutorial.
To make this pendant you will need -
• 0.8mm wire (20g), 4 x 12" (30cm) 1 x 6" (15cm)
• 0.3mm weaving wire (28g) 250cm (I wind mine onto a bobbin, but you can cut lengths as you go if you prefer)
• Most shapes will work with this design, mine is a heart-shaped puffy cabochon 20mm by 20mm (you can use a similar size, remember to adjust wire length and weave repeats accordingly)
• Small stone, mine is a 7mm pointy back cabochon.
• 4mm bead (or similar).
I no longer put links to tools on here.
The tools I use are:
• Tronex needle nose pliers
• Tronex short round nose pliers
• Tronex razor flush cutters
• Prestige flat-nose nylon jaw pliers
• Beadsmith bail pliers
• Occasionally I use tronex bent nose pliers
• Occasionally I use heavy-duty wire cutters
• Occasionally I use xuron needle nose pliers
• Bobeeze bobbins (medium size with no extra weights)

Beautiful as always! Love me some Gracie girl!!! That would have been 3/8 in. Or say three eighths of an inch. You can count the marks on the ruler that you have. In-between each of those marks is sixteenth. Crazy!
Thank you so much, you're a star! Thank you 🤗🤗🤗
Always beautiful work that's easy to follow.
Thank you so much 💕
You are a wonderful artist Kelly. Thank you so much for your beautiful working tutorials ❤️ very much appreciated. 🎉
Im looking forward to trying this 😊
Oh great, thank You! Have fun 💕
GREAT DESIGN. Thanks for sharing a pic of Gracie. She is adorable.
Aww thank you, she likes to be a part of it all 😁💕🐶
Gracie is absolutely adorable, and not as loud on this side of the video as she is on your side, LOL. This is a beautiful pattern, and I can't wait to try it!
Oh thank you so much 😁😊💕
Absolutely gorgeous 😊
Thanks so much ❤️
Once again a beautiful design and superb tutorial! If you like using fine silver for the weaving wire, I might suggest using 26g instead of 28g. I find it's just that little bit stronger and, to me, it doesn't make that big a difference in the look or sizing of the piece. Thanks again😊😊❤🤍💙
Got your comment twice 😅 thanks again 💕
This piece is gorgeous. 1 inch -2.5 cm. 2 in. are 5 cm. The inches on your ruler are divided in four (quarters... one quarter, two (one half) three quarters, and 4/4 - 1 inch. The fourths are further divided into eighths.
Thank youuu 🙏
Hi Kelly, great tutorial. I reproduced your piece.. almost perfect, thanks
Ooo fantastic! Are you on Instagram or Facebook? My links are in description, I'd love to see it 😀
You did fine on the measurements 3/8 is how it would be stated. :) thanks for the video and for at least trying on the measurements
Thank you, I've got it now, feel like I'm loosing my mind sometimes 😅 I asked Google and I kept getting numbers, like 1.79" and then I asked an AI and got the same. Thanks to all your comments, I got it (seems so simple now) 😅 😁
Gorgeous design Kelley!! I must try to get one of those buffers with 4 sides - I struggle to get nice finishes, especially when jusing the silver coated copper wires. I find that the metal files leave scratches and fine grade wet and dry takes all the silver off! I like the bare copper but sometimes the cabs tend to look nicer in silver but I find the real silver far too expensive atm. Thanks so much for sharing, much appreciated. ❤
Oh yeah, give it a go 👍 any coating will rub straight off... so only polish raw wire (uncoated) 💕 have fun 💕
Love your videos! Thank you so much!
Oh thank You!! 💕
Beautiful wrapping ❤
Thanks so much 👍
Very nice!!!!!!
Thank you 💕🌹
❤❤❤❤ beautiful Kelly
Thank you 💕
Thank you Kelly!
Very welcome, thank you 💕
Another stunning piece!!! Thank you for sharing your talent!!
Oh thank You so much 😊💕
😋🤗💜💙🐾🤙🏻🤙🏼🐾💙💜😉☺️
ALOOOO-HAAAA to you on this beautiful sunny "typical So. Cali [USA] day"! [Now I understand WHY you guys in the UK
L💜VE to take vacations in HOT, SUNNY, TROPICAL PLACES! It's been raining SOOOOOOOO MUCH this year, it's CRAZY🤤🙃🤪!! - So unlike what one thinks of as So.Cali weather!!] Still kind of chilly though! [~13-15 °C]
ANY-WHOOOO ~~~> It's kind of ironic because I have been looking for a design that's beautiful, unique & "easy enough" that, I, as an intermediate jewelry maker could handle!
THIS IS SO VERY, VERY ELEGANT & BEAUTIFUL!! I shouldn't be at ALLLLLL surprised because ALLLLLL of your designs are ALWAYS AMAZE-BALLS!!
Any chance you could make a tutorial based upon rings using wire-wrapping and faceted stones like this "accent" stone herein? Just a TINY request!
Okay - ENOUGH rambling!
💜🤟💗🤙🏻💙🐾💜
Mahalo & Aloha Nui Loa!
Oh thank you so much, my little dog hates the rain over here (I'm not to bothered myself) 😅 Thanks for your lovely comment, I'll definitely have a think about that ring 👍 have fun 💕
I use tape to hold stone in place on puffy 1s ...this is beautiful ....you know imma try it 😊
Yes, that sounds much easier 👍❤️💕 and thank you!
Once again a beautiful design & superb tutorial! ❤🤍💙 If you like using fine silver for weaving, might I suggest using 26g instead of 28g? It is just enough stronger that it doesn't snap as easily. For me, at least, it doesn't make a huge difference in the look or the sizing of the weave either. Thanks again Kelly 😊😊
Oh thank you, I'll try and remember that for next time 👍
Thank you
You're very welcome 💕
Hi, Gracie!! 💜 This is so stunning, girlfriend! 💜 Thank you for sharinggggg!! 💜
Oh hii, thank you so much love 🐾🐶💕😊
So pretty ❤️😍🇩🇰
Thank you 😊

Thank you 👍
Such a beautiful stone! I’ve seen you mention where you purchase your stones but can’t remember. Could you mention the name again? Thanks
I think I got this heart off Etsy, search amethyst heart cabochon 👍 I buy from all over the place 😅
Thank you for a wonderful video and sharing your skills. I have very thin weak nails. I don't think I'll be able to do anything with my nails, they are too short and soft. What can I use instead of my nails to separate and move the wire without scratching it? Thank you.
Drink more milk 😅 I'd be lost without my nails, I don't know what to suggest. Mine have broken a lot lately and they're quite short at the moment. Sometimes they feel indestructible, other times I only have to open a door and they break 😅
And thank you so much 💕
I use a guitar plectrum instead of my nails. I play a musical instrument and use a leather plectum for practice glissandos, does for both jobs 😊
Is there any difference in what you are able to do with the piece using the fine silver for weaving rather then sterling silver? Such as oxidation processes etc?
You can oxidise as long as it isn't coated. I've noticed Fine silver is a little whiter. I use fine silver for my chunky jump rings cos it's easier to cut and bend 😊👍 hope that helps 💕
Beautiful👍
How can I buy your tutorial book ?
Thx.
Oh thanks so much. I sell downloads from Etsy and my website. They are like a book with pages but it's on a computer or phone. So go to
payhip.com/KellyJonesJewellery
For my website to see the downloads.
Or
www.kellyjonesjewellery.etsy.com for my Etsy shop.
Thanks for looking 💕
@KellyJonesJewellery OK thanks 👍 do you accept PayPal?
Yes 👍
You can ask Google your measurements. Just type in, let's say 5 mm is equal to how many inches. It will tell you. I do it to convert mm to inches. Hope this helps.
Thank you, I feel like I'm loosing my mind sometimes 😅 Google kept giving me numbers, like 1.79" which didn't mean a thing to me, so I asked an AI, gave me the same 😅😂 but I've got it now 👍😊 a few of you have cleared that up for me, thank you 😁
Kelly, do you mind if I share your lesson with myself for the chance to replicate it not for sale but for me?❤
She says were welcome to post stuff we make from her tutorials and sell but we must credit her
You can make the jewellery and sell that, I just ask to be mentioned when you share your work online. Please don't make a tutorial of it, you can save the video for yourself to watch later 👍 does that make sense 🤔
Thank you for your lessons, you are very creative and inspiring
How this works to save a video?
Thank you❤️
3/8 of an inch. Metric is so much easier but America was stubborn.
😁 thank you 🤗
Kelly so beautiful. I really need to learn your weaving. We have a Boston Terrier name Indigo and she snores loud too. I guess you have a pug. Them small nostrils makes them snore so loud.
Thank you so much, oh they do, really loud 😅😂 funny though. Have fun 💕😊
Three eighths
Yeah 😁
