The watch is beautiful but I never understood this complication. Why would I pay so much for a watch that looks like a quartz watch? (And yes, I know these historically predate them)
I’m with yuh, I never understood deadbeat seconds because I like a good sweeping seconds hand, but then I guess that makes this watch and that complications not for me 🤷🏼♂️
The Swiss watch invasion killed off deadbeat second watches. Their ébauche removed the second escapement. This made the movement far less complicated and, in turn, cheaper to produce. Deadbeat seconds are an absolute representation of true seconds. Therefore making them far superior to sweeping second watches. 😸
These watches are for resell profit. Most don't even wear them and just keep them in a box waiting for a buyer to make a profit. Nobody uae these for their intended purpose

massive flex by any watchmaker that can manufacturer this type of complication. true luxury.
These watches with separate dials for hours, minutes and seconds are extremely frustrating to read.
