Same here. I tried to get into Hell Let's Loose and Squad. Both of which have a steep learning curve and trying to find anyone to help teach me the way was a task taken in futility. I ended up having to uninstall and move on.
Shit I couldn't even play Dota with my FRIENDS and get some decent support or pointers. He's definitely one of a kind.

I remember playing this game around 2019 and only ever focused on being a medic, whenever I had multiple people to revive I'd always instruct that I had 20 vials of morphine but only one needle, so they'd have to share; though whoever screamed "MEDIC!" the loudest would get the first dosage.
I love how as gamers, we've all had that one mute we met in game and instantly have a family bond. Along with the need to protect and guide them lmao
I was that mute for some of my online gaming groups when i was a kid LOL. I’ve also met that one mute before and its awesome. Bless.

Hell let loose has some bad people like any game, but the amount of good people ive met in that game just having fun is well more than enough to drown out the bad people. Some games just have good communities.

Dude, these are great lol, given the vag*nal sandinitus from dudes taking their GAMING experience too seriously sometimes. Don’t get me wrong, it’s fun to watch folks execute efficiently, but I consider laughter a BIG part of having fun. So thanks holmes, I appreciate your content.
Different games are played for different reasons...you don't play Arma for giggling like a schoolgirl and goofing off, you play it to get to act-out a situation in which you likely will never get to do in real life. Same for most tactical games like HLL, Squad, Post Scriptum, etc...people play it for the immersion, the terror of the psuedo-realism, the communication aspect, the tactics of maneuvering and command, etc. Yes, some people that play these games are former military, but that's a minority, so...for most gamers that play these games it's the only taste of military teamwork they'll ever have, so...why not take it seriously sometimes? I'm not talking about being a d-bag and flaunting authority if you lead a squad, some people get really egoistical and whatnot, but like...playing the game smart and making sure the players in your unit actually can succeed isn't a bad thing... it's why people usually play in the first place. If you want laughs and full on casual gameplay then play Fortnite

you really should meet the people that still play old games like TF2 or battlefield 1
for example in battlefield 1 sometimes you can be in moments of utter chaos and all it takes is for you to melee your teammate a few times or crouch/jump while they watch you and they might begin to do it as well ^^

This video takes me back to when I was playing Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory on PC back in the early 2000s. I met a dude playing medic who went by "Quebec" and we rolled together for several games. Ultimately we were separated by early 2000s internet speeds, but I haven't lost hope that one day we will be reunited. I think we all saw a little bit of ourselves in Pvt Vomit. We're emotionally invested in this arc now.
