Historically, this is very accurate (like 95% sure this couple happened; more likely Hamilton and Laurens had a physical relationship, but Angelica and Hamilton never did).

It was more likely at Hamilton's wedding he was consoling Laurens. There is even a few amateur historians that have gotten copies of original letters and someone (Hamilton's son John we think) tried to block out full sentences that were too raunchy when he was creating his father's biography. Unfortunately most of Laurens' letters did not survive.

Historically this is actually accurate- well, not exactly, you see they we’re quite close friends however they we’re both married. They sent each other letters, Hamilton’s letters still remain intact to this day however Laurens have been destroyed, in Hamilton’s letters to Laurens he’s very affectionate towards Laurens- tho it’s debatable
