    This tutorial is an absolute life saver. I've never been able to finish a yarn project before but i am currently wearing the balaclava I made and i love it! I skipped two stiches instead of just one, using the same logic you provided to make it snugger and it worked out great! Thanks for being so clear (telling me that chaining up 1 doesn't count as a stitch is always where i get confused with other patterns or videos)

    This is the first big project I’ve finished since starting to crochet - thank you for making it so fun and easy to learn! 💞 I used different coloured yarn for the ribbing at the bottom and around the face to give it a little extra pop and it looks great.

  • @amelianorred3059

    Turned out absolutely stunning!! You have the best tutorial I can find! I love that you show us how to do every stitch! Did not have to refer to any other videos!
    * For anyone making this note that she isn’t using a super thin yarn… I used one for my first balaclava and although it turned out great it was a little snug… it was giving buzz light year. If you’re looking for a more relaxed balaclava use a thick yarn and a bigger needle!
    * also when doing the bottom ribbing make sure to do the same amount of stitches between attaching each rib or the neck will be kind of off center
    Ps… you should do a bunny or teddy bear ear tutorial for the balaclava!!

    • @rebecca21wong99
      @rebecca21wong99 2 года назад +6

      I ended up using thinner yarn as well! Tip if you want to use the thinner yarn is that whenever she models it on her head, I tried it on myself to see if it matched what it looked like on her. So I ended up doing more rows overall and it came out great! :)

    Hey, love the Tutorial!! I have a question, if i have a smaller size of the yarn, do i have to make more stitches at the beginning of the magic Circle? I dont want it to turn extra small!! Thanks!❤

    I want to combine this with a patern for a crochet cape I saw earlier and make a little My Melody/Kuromi cloak thingy
