Palusami is taro leaves,salt and coconut cream traditionally it was seawater, coconut cream and taro leaves. Lu'au is the Samoa name for taro leaves Rukau/Lukau in the Cooks Lu in Tonga and Niue. Man the lamb one would been yum if the taro and the leaves was the gravy after cooking it blend it with onions, salt,lil chilli and coconut cream. The Hangi one white sauce flavoured like stuffing char the vege with a kitchen torch before stuffing the it in the pie... just how my brain is working it .. 😂😂. Peace too my creative natives. Sidenote: one of the owners is Kuki.
Blue rose and Ashbys hands down the best pies. Must of had a bad hangi pie after filling up on the others, because its usually on. Also got so busy, no as good as before

'luau' pie, is a traditional samoan dish made of coconut cream wrapped in taro leaves. as for the 'hangi' pie, i seriously doubt its anywhere near a legit hangi for obvious reasons.
