I love Pink Floyd but the band lacks expression and soul, except I love Luciuos singers a lot. I would love to see the drummer head banging through this. This is not a band feeding off each other's energy but instead following strict contract/union direction. Ok sorry just venting cause I have a flat tire, hahaha.
sorry 'bout the tire......though I'm a PF fan, the band got so big and anonymous ( except for David Gilmour ) after Roger left.....interchangeable players who were good but "lacked expression and soul" in the performances......like reading the score from sheet music
Better the version from david gilmour in delicate sound of thunder he can play the guitar no like waters his ego destroy the pink floyd from dark side of the moon. Better the division bell and momentary lapse of reason
Alvaropapagamer oh yea...well, the Pink Floyd versions from the 70’s with both GilWhore and Waters is better than either of their solo sheet stain versions
When you go see Floyd, you go for the whole band sound. When you go see Gilmour, you go for the maestro but when you go see Waters, you go see his band, not him (he even stole Carin to mimic the Floyd sound). Waters can't sing or play properly and should especially refrain from playing songs originally sung by Gilmour. Mediocre version at best.

I applaud Roger for the effort, but this was rubbish. It’s always the same old argument. Roger is a fantastic song writer and had a brilliant career because of it. But honestly can anyone imagine the success of this band without David Gilmour? David is one of the best musicians in the world, and anyone who says that Roger Waters would have done fine without him is insane. Long live Pink Floyd. Never will be another.

@@belexes777 in all honesty, David is a far better musician both in talent and personality wise. Roger was a major part of the band up until his departure but the way he tried to destroy the band all because of his massive ego made me lose all the respect I had for the man. I'm so glad David and Nick kept on going without him and made amazing music with their following albums not to mention how he was the reason Rick left when he did.We can only imagine what amazing music they could have produced if only Roger had left his ego at home.

David Gilmour is the greatest guitarist no doubt. But Pink Floyd is Roger Waters. The greatest band of all time, the greatest ever musician, songwriter is Waters.

Of course he's lip syncing. There are a couple of videos on RUclips of him fucking up, Shows it all. Roger cannot sing anymore. When you pay an obscene amount of money to watch this has been replay the wall for the 1000th time because it's the only thing that will sell him tickets. You're paying to watch him stand there miming over pre-recorded vocals.
He doesn't lip sync all the songs of the tour tho, check out some videos of him perfoming "Smell The Roses" where he forgets the lyrics, proof that he's not lip syncing. I think he sings "Mother" without lip sincing too.
He lip sync’s on the tunes he can no longer do justice to. Most of which he sings along to a backing track
Be fair though, he's over 70 years old.
I just wish Roger would get rid of Lucius, or, tone down the way they dress and those stupid blonde wigs.
