Doesn't mean much when most AI track your movement through dodge. I'm sure they'll fix it in time but knowing GGG they'll just state that it's a feature and blame the players.
15:38 the worst part about this is he already died to her once, that means her hut location is marked on the map. This doofus went straight back to fighting her and aggroed a ton of trash mobs instead of clearing out the surrounding area first. Also if you look at his quest log, he still hasn't killed the Devourer. Dude has has no business being in Grelwood yet.
Yeah, he could have easily gained another two levels and then pretty much demolished her. I guess most people try playing this like diablo instead of like poe2. They don't take their time learning the game. Instead they rush and then they die over and over again. He was pretty much playing brain dead.
@@protoshell which is sad, because warrior is perfectly catered to a braindead playstyle. Use rolling slam to wipe out a large group, dodge away from attacks, prioritize the most lethal enemies, and use a healing potion when you need to. It ain't that complicated, and I never even played the first game. But I have played plenty of Grim Dawn, so maybe that helped prepare me.
@@MrRafagigapr That was what I was worried about when I saw the explanation for how it worked. "So you're just to make the ascendancy trial impossible for tanks?" "Yes." Thankfully there's another one, but it's in a later act which means tanks will struggle earlier on, not to mention getting more ascension points will just be more annoying overall. It's weird to me that the main trial is one that excludes a playstyle in a game that's supposed to be all about variety.
Some of the more mobile bosses are annoying as a melee character (Balba the Traitor is one that comes to mind) so it’s even more important to stay on top of gearing and using AOE/range like the totem and earthquake abilities mixed into your other abilities IMO. I love a game that has a real challenge. I hope they keep it difficult. And don't make it mindless easy like D4. It's not super difficult, it just requires a plan, a decent build, and some thought. I love that gear isn't just thrown at you as well. A legendary should be rare and hard to come by in my opinion. That's what makes it a legend
@Vin.1904 If a legendary item is common, then it would be considered a common item. A rare item Which is blue or sometimes yellow? It's supposed to be rare, Not all over the place. legendary is supposed to be even more scarce than that. What the hell are you talking about

I've found steam to be a the least inaccurate review website. 80-90% is about a 9/10 and any game with over 3k reviews that is still overwhelmingly positive is a legitimate 10/10 game. PoE2 has 82% positive reviews even after the people who want to face tank bosses with neither dodging or any defenses are getting angry that they're dying.
@21:14 -- yeah that boss tracking is insane, starts the attack animation then rotates like a full 270 degrees mid swing and 1 shots him. I mean if the tracking varies boss to boss then thats cool some bosses with certain attacks & speeds track differently but idk I haven't started playing yet.
The bosses as you get further into the acts get really really dumb. If you're an evasion build, one of the bosses in act 3 will oneshot you no matter what. Dodging doesn't save you cause they turn mid body slam and do it twice extremely quickly in a row(also ive heard mixed things about dodge having s. Im inclined to believeit doesnt). Its clear they didn't test everything too well. Hoping they make some hasty changes cause the game is fun. There's just a bit too much bullshit/too little currency to be able to build for what you need
@23:14 there are 3 skills going on. The bone circle, the flame circle, and the dust or mist cloud circle. He avoided all but the dust cloud which is a one shot.
In Path of Exile even at max level your character looks like a walking tin can unless you drop $20-$30+ for a cosmetic set. The game would be 10000x better if they just sold it for $60 and made all the cool armor actual items in the game and then sold DLC with more bosses that drop more cool items. But then they wouldn't be making fat stacks like they do selling all the armor sets. The difference is simply that these guys have the arpg method down to a science and do it better than anyone else does.
IDK I think it will have the same issues as D4. What Asmon said last time about D4 was the sweats saw the problems D4 had before the casuals and it slowly died. The sweats of POE are voicing huge problems with the current state of POE2 and the casuals will not run into them for a while. Gearing is shit, yellow items are few and far between Passive skill tree is lackluster compared to POE1 Gem system is bad compared to POE1 (Kripp said this, I don't understand why) Game is too difficult, maybe because of the 3 things above
@moe504 ur just wrong😂 i find alot more yellows than poe 1 in the early game. I made lvl 20 on my first hcssf character blind meaning i one shot like 20 bosses. Skills are the exact same besides you now link them in the book instead of gear meaning its just easier😂. Look i know ur mad d4 is finally dead but its ok bro.
People were expecting a meta build spam fests and instead got a complicated skill system with actual fight mechanics that you actually have to pay attention to and avoid. I am loving this game. It is hard and makes you think the whole time.
Yeah but I do feel like some stuff needs addressing. Like asmon said, you shouldnt be hit by an attack that came from off screen, or the attack should have VERY clear visual indication that its coming if you cant see the boss telegraph it. Also some abilities need better visual clarity to their hitbox, like the executioner anvil and guillotine. Having a red center circle with a grey outer circle that you literally cannot see when the game culls it visual to keep performance is not fun to play against. Im all for the attack being threatening and the bosses being engaging, but getting hit by an ability I cannot see is just needlessly frustrating, even more so when it one shots you. Another thing I want addressed in the game is body blocking by other players when you play together. Some areas and pathways were clearly not designed with more than 1 player ine mind
"A complicated skill system"? DId you accidentially log into PoE1? The game is disappointingly shallow at this point. Really hope we're seeing some serious expansion with 1.0 and the first few leagues.
"Complicated skill system" the passive tree is boring and lacking in depth outside of the few classes that actually have good nodes near their start. If you do not believe me I dare you to try to make currupted blood work, go ahead, you will find there are literally zero nodes on the tree that apply to non-ailment DoTs(currupted blood isn't an ailment).
I think the great idea of having game more readable for bosses attacking offscreen is to put warning indicator like boss is gonna attack, that would not interfere with opt and would be visible for everyone, like in fps you have indicator from what side you get shot but here that would show during the attack of the boss. Problem solved.
i love the way all the streamers are used to Facerolling there keyboards on 30mobs and raining loot ...now its good to see streamers struggle lol POE 2 is awesome

man i love POE and really wanna play this but in South East Asia $30 is kinda a lot for an early access($30 is like almost 2 weeks worth of food). The current imbalance kinda held me back a bit, but really tempted tho
Gotta love how 30 is two weeks worth of food but you have enough for a device to post this message and the hardware to play tbe game, 😂 gaming is expensive and if you cant afford 30 wait the year or so for the game to come free to play 😂
Couldn't play on Launch Friday because everyone was playing, so I went to bed and woke up early yesterday (Saturday). I played 9 hours yesterday. I don't think I've done a gaming binge like that since Witcher 3 over 6 years ago. This game really is a breath of fresh air. I've been really enjoying the Mercenary with scatter shot grenades and crossbows. I just beat that ghost lady that spams blue circles, and nees to do the rest of the cemetery today. My friend who's a poe1 Veteran has been speeding through the campaign, he's level 30-something in Act 3 after 1 day of playing and will probably finish it soon.
@@arturschneberger4465 I have never played an arpg before. Also created multiple characters to try out different heroes. Spent some time changing controls around so it felt comfy. And yeah, spent a lot of time reading all the skills and Passives. It was only a few hours after a friend told me that the map is randomly generated and resets often that I realised it's not worth carefully exploring the entire map and slowly killing enemies. I spent another 5 hours this morning and got to Act 2 at the Halal Gates. I'm really not fussed if vets are done with the 3 Acts already.
One of the best things PoE2 did is decouple skills from equipment - currently you can have lots of different skills, and they won't be gimped by the number of links in your items like in PoE1, where most builds are limited to one 6L, and the next one being 4L, so even a dedicated singletarget skill ends up worse than just spamming your 6L AoE skill.
POE1 launched pretty slow too. In 10 years we will be flying around the map doing all sorts of crazy stuff at lightning speed. This isn't even the base game. It's early access of the base game
@@sthsth2846 Entirely possible. At least some higher-ups in the studio wanted a slower, more tactical, less-zoomy, less-loot-pinata kind of gameplay, but they couldn't turn PoE1 into that without the playerbase revolting. Hence, they made PoE2 like this while committing to also supporting PoE1.
the only reason it feels that way is because there is little to no movement speed at the start, and the zones are massive. and there's too much tedium in the towns, running around the vendors and well tapping etc. reduce the zones by 30% and just make one npc the vendor, and the game would not feel slow. if it's that slow for you and you're past, say half of act 2, then you have a build or gear issue. the single largest issue with pacing is the zone size.
Yeah I feel like if the boss is off screen it's your fault But to be honest, having some kind of indicator is good too. Like a red circle when an attack is coming.
The thing is with that boss specifically you need to stay close to him. That attack is basically a punish for you running away. Once you realize it he is super easy lol.
One of the best keys to dodging I learned in Elden Ring was to follow the hands of the enemy and NOT their weapon. This changed everything about my parry style in elden ring and it still holds true in PoE2 as well. Follow the hands, arms, and shoulders of enemies to time your dodges!
So the game concept is great. The biggest problem to tackle first is that they didnt deliver on them saying youll have plenty of currency to craft with. They want us to be crafting to upgrade our gear throughout the campaign but we are not given NEARLY enough currency to do that. Fix that and that makes the game playable while they work on the rest of the typical EA issues and whatnot
Glass cannon builds, sub 350 hp and they wonder why they get one shot lol. No resistances. Massive skill issue, also, if you dont want to get offscreened by a boss, dude... dont walk away offscreen lmao jeeze
Yeah, it definitely look like im not that bad at this type of game. Im new, and those "veteran" POE players surely look stupid sometimes. Im a hardcore mode Diablo casual player. But im used to play without guides and most of the time, without dying. And so far, PoE2 feels like it was designed for players like me, who are not looking for a brainless experience. I currently play softcore on PoE2 though, for obvious reasons. But at some point, i will try to go endgame with some hardcore characters for sure. The game is great.
ye good that u can get hp on tree and that drop rates early are so massive that u will always get as much hp as u want lmao. i got to around lv 28 and i just could not get light res above 20 cause rng was so bad and if i would use light rings or whatever then other reses would drop below 20... i wonder how much stuff will got changed in first 2 months
Only played an hour or so and died once (which was entirely due to my own stupidity against that boss necromancer lady), but the Devourer boss fight felt too long imo. Did all the mechanics a bunch of times, and he felt like a damage sponge tbh. Basically to the point where the last 30% of his health bar felt more annoying than rewarding. The moment a boss you kill on a first try feels more annoying than a boss that kills you with only 5% of its health left, something feels off. But like I said, I've only played an hour or so, and I'm playing as a necromancer (which can be inconsistent against bosses), so maybe that was also part of it. But from that limited experience, I can only say that Devourer fight didn't feel as rewarding as it could have been due to an excessive health pool (I think). But again, this is basically a beta, so I would imagine there will be some fine-tuning done in terms of health pools, loot drops and other balancing. I wouldn't be surprised if the difficulty gets tuned down a bit (I hope not too much to the point where it becomes too easy, like most ARPG's these days). I also think they overturned it a bit on purpose as well. Communities generally react to slightly lowering the difficulty of content they struggled with a bit better than further increasing the difficulty of content they've managed to beat already in the past. So far, I'm fine with it. It's not perfect, but there's a lot to like here already, and it shows a ton of promise.
@@xaby996 Skill issue in what exactly? The only part I haven't liked so far, I didn't even die to, and was just a boring fight because it dragged on for too long. xD

I feel so happy seeing that conner converse dude getting mad, he was so smug a few weeks ago saying he would trivialize and break the game on day one(he might still do that in the future), I love when people like that get their asses handed to them so they get humbled.
Haha he will definitely do that in the future BUT for now it is fun to watch the struggle 😅 This game is going to take a bit to crack and while he did make multiple gamebreaking builds in PoE1, he was building off a foundation of what many others discovered before and off of years of the game being out. Also PoE1 they would basically release all the hard data for all the abilities each season meaning you could do pretty exact calculations around damage/defense scaling. I don't believe that is true yet for PoE2 and people have to theorycraft and test more directly.
The reason Conner ragequit there was because he was trying to use leapslam as a movement tool like in PoE1, when it's an attack here, autotargeting enemies. Instead of jumping out of the way towards his cursor (which was at the bottom of his screen), his character jumped straight into the slam. The same shit got me to rage a few times as well already. Muscle memory hits hard.
it´s basically not at all like elden ring. it´s harder than poe 1 sure but that´s about it. so i really liked that i can actually die to a boss, you can´t go braindead autoplay mode like d4, but what do you get for that? nothing? the loot is absolutely awful. playing for about 15 hours and 8 of these i didn´t change gear once but i certainly wasted lot´s of time sorting through trash.
The only complaint (except obvious bugs etc that i hope get ironed out before release) is that points of intrest on the map should show in slightly bigger area. Theres been several times where i was stuck looking for a transition to next area and it ended up being in a tiny corner that i walked 2 m away from and it didnt even look like theres anything. Also walking around pointlessly on a map looking for that one boss hiding somewhere is frustrating.
People really aren't seeing that anvil indicator on Executioneer, might be those indicators need tweaking. Like that clip with one saying he was far out of the circle like no, the circle was huge and you were only halfway out.
Its not a pretty order its extended early access. For 30 bucks you get into the game up until the 1.0 release. Its super fun and definitely worth 30 dollars.
Such a fun game, can't believe it's early access. Playing a warrior took some time to get rolling, but man its fun to smash things and have everything burst into flames.
How much content is there? I know it’s early access, but is there a decent amount to keep playing for a while? I also assume if you get early access you can have it on release yeah?
@xaby996 am i screwed and have to start over if I did a weak build? Never played poe and just winging it and leveling what I think it's good instead of following a guide so I hope It goes well
I feel like the lack of loot and 'difficulty' are very reasonable critiques. I have been playing with my friend, just got into act 2 and have gotten maybe 10 rares, with 2 of them being useable. The final boss for act 1 gave me 1 socketed blue and like 5 greys. The game isnt difficult but when they stack like 20 exploders that drop bombs you cant see i get pretty tilted. I also beat ER with a katana so dont say i dont like difficulty. They need to up the drop rate of good items by at least 1.5x. Ik its early access but criticism is healthy. Hoping end game is better
Honestly if they just fix crafting it will iron out so many problems. I don't like having to pick up every single grey crossbow hit it with a transmute, then salvage because I hit some useless stat. The difficulty feels fine but there are so many glaring holes in my build that I know how to patch. Unfortunately, I have to rely on pure rng for everything in the game.
Already found 2 rare (yellow) and a uniqe(orange) items, below level 8. Can't complain about drop rate. Difficulty really depends on the classes you play. Sorceres is super easy mode atm.
Nah disagree. Good shit should be hard to come by. It’s part of the grind. You want better drop rates go play D4. A legendary drops with every monster kill.
@all0utmetal735 i just started doing the AT and got 3 leg in about an hour so im purely talking early game (act 1 to 25% of act 2). Generally agree tho.
i kinda think this build is obvious but here it goes.. i hope it's helpful. it generates a chain of explosions from overkill damage. i rushed armour and dualweilding 2 handers. rolling slam with overpower and unbreakable support gems. perfect strike with window of opportunity and ambush support gems. boneshatter with impact shockwave upport gem.. and lastly, herald of ash and magnified effect support gems. rest of the build is personal reference. look for a weapons with +50% pbysical damage... you 1 combo everything in act 1 and 2 by using rolling slam then boneshatter and repeat. the perfect strike is for bosses which you can tank with all the armour.
In spacemarine 2 they made enemies less acurtae/damage when you could not see them. Obviously compeltely different style of game but feel like you could apply a similar idea here to stop getting one shot by attackes you dont see coming
I love the difficulty of the game. Even with the normal mobs i feel like I have to watch out. It keeps me engaged, and it's more satisfying once you build a strong build. Last thing I wanted was another brain dead click to kill game where everything dies easy
It will eventually become that... It would be controversial to explain why, but Im pretty damn sure it will - eventually. Let's enjoy this while we can.
GGG has mostly dealt with only their own community. But with this and talking about making the game more accessible A LOT of regulars will try this as they did with Last epoch. And their community is the we like hitting our balls with a hammer community. Causals and other new people arent, so I suspect GGG will not be prepared for the kind of discussions, comments and coverage they will get on this launch. Scrutiny they havent had before.
POE1 community is the "let's spend 4 hours rolling for stats on items for my build and looking up guides" community. When it comes to actual gameplay skill, they prefer to be able to faceroll everything and facetank down the boss.
Not sure how much you have actually played but that’s only the .1% the average player isn’t doing that or even knows how to craft. That’s part of the reason people are struggling because they refuse to craft.
Yeah I feel PoE1 veterans know a lot of game specific knowledge about what is good and what is bad, know how to make OP builds and what to avoid. While new players won't, and will make builds that will become to weak to progress the game at some mid-point. PoE2 shouldn't be designed in a way you must have full PoE1 knowledge to make a viable build, while without it you fall in one of many noob traps and just become not viable. Where no gameplay skill would save you.
@@sawyerlachance7745 I actually hate this crafting with rolling for specific traits/attributes. Just mindless grinding and a chance game. I always avoid it. So I would play a game to a point where this is required, then I drop it. Game should not be based on chance rolling, it's just grind for the sake of grind.
18:58 The reason it wasn't great in PoE 1 in some maps its because any terrain elevation would cancel out the attack. That isn't the case in PoE 2. It is a good skill now regardless of terrain.
i'll say this, have being a season dark souls player, you need to pay attention to movement ques and hit mechanic's if your toe is near the hit, you get FULL FORCE. it's kinda shit IMO but the executioners guillotine is one shot. and the radius is MASSIVE.... the challenge is fun but i wish they had a sound or indicator that was more prominent to low health, I've died so many times just because i didn't realize i was low on health.
@@TheEternalVortex42 yeah it's pretty much infested farmlands/rotten crop fields from grim dawn, but I see it as a nod from GGG to another great ARPG, was very happy to see it
A lot of off screen kills have at least sound queues and are simple attacks that you need to dodge. It's frustrating to learn, but can be learned at least
dude and I don't agree with the "insane" tracking argument, you know because you were supposed to dodge the "attack" or a "hit" as it comes which is at the last second, if you can see it coming a mile away with loads of time then what's the point?
@@arjunratnadevif the movement doesn't make sense intuitively, it's too much. I don't care how strong you are, you shouldnt be able to reposition a 20 ton hammer mid swing.
The reason why melee builds struggle with Draven is the fact the spreading projectile skill comes without warning multiple times, and each time it shotguns the player from close range. They need to remove the shotgun or give a better telegraph for the attack so melee builds know when to run away.
Only thing that’s a little janky and weird is the fact that certain enemies are 900% faster than you and will surround your character and bug you out to the point of being unable to move or attack. I don’t know if this means there needs to be a way to change the unit collision, or support skill gems that cause you to be able to pass through enemies or something
I don't see how the Warrior class is as difficult as everyone is making it be. I'm lvl 14, and I'm crushing mobs and bosses. My build is just all STR, Armor, and Life replenishment.

It's really nice... Dark and gritty - the way I like it. And for the time being, you actually have the time to look at them. Eventually tho, when it becomes another fast-paced-painkiller-stress-reliever-one-click-death-punch-screen-sweeper machine like all the others ARPs of this style, then ambient graphics won't matter that much. In exchange, cosmetics with bright colors or might and spread out wings will take its place, since it's the people who care for those things who will pay up for the servers.
If it's too difficult for someone, let him go away and listen to dialogues in Diablo or let him play a farming simulator Fuck me, when will they learn to use rolling......
So I’m brand new to the path of exile community. Just started poe 1 last week and got about 70 hours in, had a blast. Poe 2 is definitely different from poe 1. Honestly my past time in dark souls and elden ring prepared me better for playing poe 2 than playing any other arpg could. Took me 2 hours to complete 1st ascendacy trial on monk last night. Best feeling in the world once I beat it.
The thing with enemy tracking mid animation, the game teaches us that on the first boss. The very first boss. Coming from Eden ring I had to adapt but honestly, love it. Your attacks track too btw. Game is phenomenal.
Yeh, I'm finding it difficult on standard and I think if they don't balance this game people will quit because the difficulty is so unbalanced it's unreal. Unless your clued up about games like this you're gonna have a really hard time.
It's honestly not that difficult, you probably focused on damage first and neglected survivability. I went into this game completely blind, maybe i just took an amazing build on monk.
one thing i thought was well done with the act1 last boss was he would charge out of the mist after he said his line, so you could predict it. Had a rhythm
I agree, bosses off screen shouldnt have their attack hurt you, but bosses that have area wide mechanics should pan the FOV out so you can still see them at the beginning of the fight like in D4
PoE2 SRPG (Souls Role Playing Game) vs an actual ARPG PoE1, D4, D3, Last Epoch, Torchlight (ACTION role play gaming) is what defines PoE2. But here are all the steamers coming together to love on this game which literally does not fit the genre at all.
@ 14:15 He didn't 'die', he was doing the ascendancy trial where you have a pool of honour you have to maintain and it gets reduced when you take damage. He ran out of honour so he got kicked out of the trial.
I'm not even going to attempt hardcore for a long time. This is my first time playing this kind of game and I'm really happy with the challenge that playing as a warrior gives.
So, let me fish for hate comments: I don't like PoE2 so far. It feels like Souls 2 lite. Backpedalling from white mobs and the most used skill is Dodge. Boss fights take ages and don't reward. Can't say I like it. I'm sure there are people who like it and, possibly, a few builds will emerge that make levelling faster but making every boss an endboss with multiple stages and a fight that takes ages and involves spamming dodge isn't for me. In Endgame - yep, bring it on. While levelling? Nope, thank you.
I completely agree with you. It's tedious and not fun/ rewarding at all. The rabid fanboys are trying their best to keep this game hyped, but they are just trying to justify the $$$ they dropped on the game. They might have even got it free with the condition that they give a glowing review. The real verdict will be in 2 weeks
Wow that spark build looks awesome, tempted to do that as 2nd char. First i'm enjoying witch - with loads frost mage skelly minions. Instead of witch skills i prefer ice attacks from sorceress. I use frozen orb skill +my skelly mages to freeze/chill everything. Cold snap which feels so fun. Then I got unearth to get more minions. Curse to weaken (both from witch) Plus scepter which gives free skelly warriors anyways. So a lot of damage and freeze is awesome when all your minions can just free attack.

Sanctum on melee was allways bad , if you have low dmg as a warrior the trial is really hard because your natural tanking ability does not matter
For offscreen simple mobs I agree we should see something that help us dodge it.
For bosses, I think that if you go somewhere where you cant see the boss you earned your death. You should stay where you can see him.
I think this is a fair assessment, I second this.
It would be funny if some bosses had attacks that they specifically threw out only to target players who went so far away that the boss is offscreen.
Fuck that. Keep it the same as it is. If you can't keep stuff on screen and dodge or funnel properly that's on you.

It depends on boss, some don't have tracking at all.

The bosses as you get further into the acts get really really dumb. If you're an evasion build, one of the bosses in act 3 will oneshot you no matter what. There's nothing complicated here though. The skills are far less interesting and in-depth than PoE 1.
I just stand in one place with warrior and attack lol

They made the game much slower and more tactical
POE1 launched pretty slow too. In 10 years we will be flying around the map doing all sorts of crazy stuff at lightning speed. This isn't even the base game. It's early access of the base game
@@Mark-sd4hvmaybe that's why they made it like this, they realised they took a wrong turn.
It is amazing
Its not about off screen. They are bosses. You shouldn't even let them go off screen.

I like it. Last Epoch was too easy. This feels about right, so far. Excellent bosses.

Haha he will definitely do that in the future BUT for now it is fun to watch the struggle 😅
This game is going to take a bit to crack and while he did make multiple gamebreaking builds in PoE1, he was building off a foundation of what many others discovered before and off of years of the game being out.
Also PoE1 they would basically release all the hard data for all the abilities each season meaning you could do pretty exact calculations around damage/defense scaling. I don't believe that is true yet for PoE2 and people have to theorycraft and test more directly.
Is he the squealer? He should have his mic removed by his mommy.
Sorceres is super easy mode atm.

i kinda think this build is obvious but here it goes.. i hope it's helpful. it generates a chain of explosions from overkill damage.
i rushed armour and dualweilding 2 handers. rolling slam with overpower and unbreakable support gems. perfect strike with window of opportunity and ambush support gems. boneshatter with impact shockwave upport gem.. and lastly, herald of ash and magnified effect support gems. rest of the build is personal reference. look for a weapons with +50% pbysical damage... you 1 combo everything in act 1 and 2 by using rolling slam then boneshatter and repeat. the perfect strike is for bosses which you can tank with all the armour.
In spacemarine 2 they made enemies less acurtae/damage when you could not see them. Obviously compeltely different style of game but feel like you could apply a similar idea here to stop getting one shot by attackes you dont see coming

As a casual d4 player I van honestly say I love this new game . They finally made poe new player friendly

When it comes to actual gameplay skill, they prefer to be able to faceroll everything and facetank down the boss.
poe 1 community IS the epitomy of casual gaming what are you talking about
Not sure how much you have actually played but that’s only the .1% the average player isn’t doing that or even knows how to craft.
Game should not be based on chance rolling, it's just grind for the sake of grind.
dude i'm struggling so hard with a stormwave monk rn, building with powercharge to accomodate flicker once i got it XD
This is my first ARPG and I'm having a lot off fun. Thanks for the videos talking about po2, it convinced me to try
I use healty Bar above my head, it's in settings. Helped me alot with that
Ogham Farm is my favorite zone. The zone is classic Diablo2. Infact it's more Diablo2 than Diablo2
It looks identical to one of the Grim Dawn zones...
@@TheEternalVortex42 yeah it's pretty much infested farmlands/rotten crop fields from grim dawn, but I see it as a nod from GGG to another great ARPG, was very happy to see it
Each of the first three zones are basically the same from Diablo 2
4:54 I mean how are you supposed to be survive being hit by a giant column? 😂
Do a barrel roll!
Called get good.
As a lovely merc/poison/fire build; all I can say is the melee crowd is going have to pay attention more if they don’t have a decent build.
For some reason GGG never got melee right.
It sucks they’re nerfing supercharged slam… it’s hard to get to and getting that damage that makes the trial worth it.
A lot of off screen kills have at least sound queues and are simple attacks that you need to dodge. It's frustrating to learn, but can be learned at least
the dodge roll is working perfectly in the game, i die less in poe 2 than poe 1
Still rolling too early. Not too hard to adjust though 😁
"Melee sucks" Baldie the great
dude and I don't agree with the "insane" tracking argument, you know because you were supposed to dodge the "attack" or a "hit" as it comes which is at the last second, if you can see it coming a mile away with loads of time then what's the point?
You cannot have a true D2 sucessor without shitting on melee and making sorc a god. It just wouldn't be true to the spirit of D2. LMFAO
@@mackparker9064 Where are my necromancer mains at?
@@arjunratnadevif the movement doesn't make sense intuitively, it's too much. I don't care how strong you are, you shouldnt be able to reposition a 20 ton hammer mid swing.
I dunno, I'm having a great time with my monk. Killing palm to dash to an enemy, the lil frost thing to disengage from ground aoe is fun
Dont attack the boss off screen if you dont want to be 1 shot off screen. It's pretty simple.
Yeah it’s easy up until later in act 2… what makes it worse is trash drops and minimal currency drops combined with a shitty crafting system compared to PoE1… PoE 1 was way more fun… they tried doing a PoE/elden ring game and it’s just not fun… if I wanted to stress the fuck out I would go back through elden ring
@@BADieselHow is this game stressful at all?
@@BADiesel sounds like pure skill issue. Im sorry but in poe1 just 50% passed brutus from th total players in the entire history. U r just a number the game is amazing if u want a easy walktrough go d4
@@kure2658 since when does poe require skill lol
@ lol It’s not skill issue that the crafting is worse and the drops don’t make up for it in anyway… I have played multiple PoE leagues always gotten my stones and completed maps and all bosses while only playing melee… the gearing in PoE 2 is just way worse
I didn't get anything done this afternoon, been too busy playing POE2...

In Diablo everything is blurry.
If it's too difficult for someone, let him go away and listen to dialogues in Diablo or let him play a farming simulator
Fuck me, when will they learn to use rolling......
Alot of those off screen attacks are telegraphed by the boss saying something... gotta pay attention to the audio queues too
The thing with enemy tracking mid animation, the game teaches us that on the first boss. The very first boss. Coming from Eden ring I had to adapt but honestly, love it. Your attacks track too btw. Game is phenomenal.

You're. Learn to spell.
It's honestly not that difficult, you probably focused on damage first and neglected survivability. I went into this game completely blind, maybe i just took an amazing build on monk.
As they say... get gud
@@Flegadopeople made the same complaint on Elden ring before they figured out you actually have to level vigor
one thing i thought was well done with the act1 last boss was he would charge out of the mist after he said his line, so you could predict it. Had a rhythm
I agree, bosses off screen shouldnt have their attack hurt you, but bosses that have area wide mechanics should pan the FOV out so you can still see them at the beginning of the fight like in D4
Everyone at Blizzard playing this over the holidays while freshening up their resumes on the other monitor.
What part doesn't fit the genre? Of the listed games poe1 is the only one without a Dodge. Or do you just mean the speed?
finally a online game with difficult
The subreddit is full of whiners, i think this game is perfect
Poe 2 forums too. SO many complains there.
@manuel7978 problem is people who love the game are too busy playing to contribute 🤣
1 minute ago is crazy
How is it “crazy” 🤡🫵
It is crazy, sick, and a little dope yo
It's a good motivation to keep the enemy in your view. As a ranger I tried to stay on middle distance.
