It’s amazing to see such a beautiful place featured and presented so wonderfully. Thank you guys 😊 Having lived in Macclesfield for 15 years this was my go to place on my days off with my Labrador. Her ashes are at the summit of Shutlingloe ❤ thank you again for your video and I must say I’m loving the channel too
What an amazing hiking adventure in the Peak District! It's fascinating to discover that the region has its own "Matterhorn" in the form of Shutlingsloe. Hay and Kyle provide an excellent walking guide, showcasing the stunning Macclesfield Forest and guiding viewers through the hike to the summit. The comprehensive coverage, from parking to the path itself, is incredibly helpful for anyone planning a visit to the Peak District National Park. The breathtaking views captured in the video truly highlight the beauty of this spot in Cheshire. Thank you for sharing this incredible hiking experience and inspiring us to explore the wonders of the Peak District!
Love those 360 views on top of Shutlingsloe & Macclesfield Forest very pretty Thank you for showing it & I look forward to reaching that Trig Point. My health situation means I've got a taste for those shots I picked up Pineapple Goldenberry & Ginger from M&S recently & yes eating 100% Cocoa Chocolate is also on my menu - Think of the nutrients !!!! Best Wishes to you both & Raisin.
Oh boy, I thought Kyle's eyes were going to pop out after drinking that shot LOL! Never explored that part of the world, yet. Looks like a nice place to visit and soak in the views.
Great video, guys, and in my opinion, this definitely deserves a lot more likes from your viewers! Anyways, you got one from me, and I am definitely putting this on my list of places to go visit. I hope you are both good and well, take care!
Thank you, we are both well 😀 We've always appreciated your support and any views and likes we get from our community are appreciated too 🤗 Glad it's inspired you to potentially visit, which is what we aim to do. See you in the next one ✌️
Hi, I really enjoyed this one. What a fab place for a hike. I should make more of an effort to explore the western side of the Peak District. It looks so lovely! x
Another great vlog. I parked at Wildboarclough by the river. Parking for about 10 cars. I came right up the front, which was a steep one. Croker Hill tower in the background too, nice to see. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for tuning in again Chris 🤗 Yes, the other side of the hill, (that we didn't feature as much) certainly looks like an interesting scramble 😅 Might have to try that side of it next time for a more "Matterhorn" like experience 😰
Hi Kyle and Haley, great video of Macclesfield Forest and also Shutlingsloe. The forest was amazing with all of the green foliage, moss on the trees and all the beautiful forest. The view as amazing from Shutlingsloe and it think the view made the hike worth it. With as shortage legged as Pug dogs are, Raisin does pretty well hiking.
Thanks for watching Ben, we appreciate it 🤗 We enjoyed the whole area, if you haven't been, it's got a little bit of everything 🌲⛰️ Raisin is used to being dragged up hills by now, he's either doing absolutely nothing, (all day) or hiking up in the hills 😅🐶
Ha! No way? You should have said hello 🤗 (we don't bite honest, 😅although Raisin would probably lick you) 🐶 We're sure we'll bump into each other at some point again 👍
Another great video from you both again , did you know macclesfield forest has the largest heronry (breeding ground for herons) in the Peak District , you did unwittingly show it in your video without knowing it , on the edge of trentabank , keep up the great work they are very enjoyable many thanks xx
Thanks for tuning in again Peter! We actually did know about the Herons here and had it as a fact to read and totally forgot to film it 🤦♂️We were hoping to see the red deer in this one too, but alas, they were not to be seen 🦌(there's always a next time) 🤗
Excellent cinematography.....I think that might be the right word...edging ever closer to Mrtyle corner aka the Wirral, aka Ukraine on the Mersey, Frankie goes to Hollywood and the Lightening Seeds are playing outside Saint George, s Hall..😊😊😊
Thank you Mr Clabby! 😊 Haha we are edging a bit more west aren't we?! Who knows we may end up at the Wirral one of these days 😅 sounds like great entertainment you have 👍
Another great video...especially because I live in Wilmslow, quite nearby, and I was there a few days ago...the same route! Your adventures are always worth watching. Plenty of scope for walking/sailing/climbing nearby, from the Roaches and Hen Cloud, as you say, and to climbing at Windgather, to the north. Looking forward to more of your entertaining trips!
Thanks John 🫶 it's definitely a spot for all kinds of activities 👍 thought we could hear a few different kinds of birds near the nature reserve too 👍 😊
Thanks for another great video, I went up shutlingsloe some years ago when Dexter was younger, unfortunately I have just found out he has terminal cancer 😢 so thanks for showing me these places ❤
Very good video guys. Amazing view and thanks for showing this beautiful location. Question: How long would it take to get to the top of Shutlingsloe from the nearest car park?
Thanks for your message Ben, that's lovely of you to think of us like that. The truth is, we've been on holiday and taking a short break 😅 We should be back this coming Sunday with a new one 🤗
Hey thanks so much! We didn't use a map! We just parked near the main car park Trentabank and wandered through and followed a trail that was marked on a board 😊❤️
Great vlog. Lovely work as usual. Your quality has really picked up. Nice work. Have a watch of our Australian friends. They visit some different places over here and the vlog quality is worth watching. We have learned a lot from them. @ifnotnow

@HayandKyle I went up to your Secret Bothy last week. It certainly is stunning up there. Are you visiting any of the other ones in the Peaks?
Seems like loads to do in the forest, would love to check it out!
I'd say it looks like a path, and it all adds to the experience!
Definitely quite a bit and looked like a few cycle trails throughout! We thought that too 😂 blummin trees blocking us!
Great video, looks a great walk
Thank you for watching 🤗 It's a really great location, we've done it in red hot sun ☀️and pouring down rain now, 🌦️both trips were worth it ✌️
@@HayandKyle I'd imagine the woodland at the start would look spectacular in the rain 👍
Nice rifle Tom Mr Howard will be so happy.😊

Jelly legs by the end of it 😂😂
Very good video guys. Amazing view and thanks for showing this beautiful location. Question: How long would it take to get to the top of Shutlingsloe from the nearest car park?
Hi Den, thanks for watching. We'd estimate if you weren't filming like us, it would take around 45m - 1 Hr 🤗
