A short story about what sort of challenges everyday little things can be. Help the girl buy milk, be the first not to disappoint her.
The game is a small visual novel, showing either funny abstraction and wordplay or painful psychological episodes. The claim that history is based on real events will be too specific, so it is easier to pretend that it is just a set of abstractions and wordplay.

@@travelstar211Look man. The game has an age rating and when you boot up the game it gives you a warning about dark topics. If a kid get scared of Inside a Bag of Milk it's the parents' fault for ignoring the warnings, not Nintendo's.

All of that horror could’ve been avoided if you drank milk from the carton like any normal human being.
Unfortunately, such a task requires being able to think and memorize things longer. It's astounding she even remembers to accept oxygen into her body.

Wow. I never expected these to be released on Switch! I'd say they are more of a short visual novel than a game, about a two-sided conversation with one person. Despite being very disorienting and at times disturbing, they are very well made, in such a way that even though I couldn't always tell what was going on, I found the experience both thought-provoking and deeply moving.
I wasn't interested at all until I read your comment. Now I think I'll give it a shot. I love all things thought provoking.

Milk outside of a bag of milk outside of a bag of milk is actually a pretty decent representation of schizophrenic related disorders, i definitely recommend playing thru it as someone who is schizoaffective myself ✨

Me too. I used to drink normal milk but my body changed and became lactose intolerant at the age of 32, now I am 33 and now drink Lactade Milk. Expensive annd much more fatty so o buy the purple or turquoise to consume less fat and cholesterol.

Ive played the prologue and it sure made me feel...something, alright. Pretty tempted to get this, it's not exactly horror but it is *super* unsettling if youve ever struggled with mental health

It’s hard to really put into words! Very off dream-like horror visual novels (Outside a bag of milk has point-and-click aspects) that pit you as an inner voice guiding a mentally unwell girl as she just tries to buy milk and struggles with severe doubts and worries along the way.
Sites like Pixeldie have really good review-summaries on the games, I couldn’t do em justice.

NGL, I saw the title and thought "Yup.. Definitely need to check this out.". Honestly? Man.. This brings me back to the 90s and early 2000s. Good reference, although to me this is more a fish eye lens close up. The effect here is different from a Kubrick stare in that the lack of a focused stare conveys disorientation. This is used in other anime like Evangelion and Lain.

I have played this game on PC and it is quite an interesting little horror game. Inside a Bag of Milk is a bit of a difficult experience with the graphical style but Outside is a nice little point and click game
