Great info. I would add that health Regen augment is key for all of the sets. The final “immortal” set will just be over the top regen for some fun, but they should all be able to regen health without sheathing.
I suck at this game so having a set like this is gonna be awesome. I hate having to always be worrying about my health and with this I can mindlessly slay monsters!

I have: -True Fatalis Lance Affinity/Health Regen/Element Status -Dragonhead Alpha -Dragonhide Beta -Dragonclaws Beta -Dragonbarbs Beta -Kulve Taroth's Wrath Alpha -Challenger Charm V Attack/Crit Eye/Agitator 7lvl, Guard 5lvl,Stun Resistance 3lvl, Recovery Up 3lvl, Critical Boost 3lvl, Weakness Exploit 3lvl, Peak Performance 3lvl, Offensive Guard 3lvl,Fortify 1lvl, Guard Up 1lvl. I don't use Divine Blessing because this build has a very strong defense anyway, I preferred to allocate space for recovery up because then you are defensive and you also heal very strongly.
Great video! I’m still tempted to do some max element builds to see what the differences are like, though grinding KT for lances….. We all know how that goes. Currently running a mixed build with masters touch and it hits similar to some of the meta builds yet I have guard 5 for comfy while I’m doing SoS’s to help people.
it's super fun once you get the hang of it, mobility is an issue for a lot of first time lancers, but using the charge attack to move around helps negate a lot of that!

Honestly you just gotta grind tf out of event quests. Day of ruin is the easiest imo.. I’m re-running this whole game again on Xbox as PC was too easy with rolling etc, console is locked to 60.. so made a bit more of a challenge for myself. Anyways, from PC to console I’ve actually seen myself get a lot more deccos that I don’t have on PC. Literally is RNG based.

I too started a new character and messing with different weapons this time around. I main Long Sword just bc I wanted to perfect a play style u know. Wanted to be a master at one instead of a jack of all trades plus easier to swap weapons instead of saying aah fuck it let me use my go to builds I already had made. My wife thinks I’m crazy for playing the game for as long as I have but idk like I said it’s the challenge and the combat is on point. It reminds me of souls games in the fact that if I cart it’s my fault. Ya maybe a few wonky hit boxes but messing up is on me not the game from cheap hits or whatever u know what I mean. It’s not perfect but it’s good enough. I only have myself to blame if I faint or fail a quest
for pre-raging brachy, I think 3 pieces of Teostra armor mixed with any other 2 pieces you like should be good! i’m not 100% sure on the weapon, but I know Narga, Acidic Glavenus, or Shara weapons are good!
I recommend 3x Teostra + Guild Palace Braces Beta + Garuga Greaves Beta. For a weapon get yourself a Minqar al-Nasr II and augment it with health regen (very cheap since it's rarity 9). Add an Elementless decoration somewhere in your build and you should be good to go :D
i love lance been playing with it since i got this game ( i tried other weapons yes) but there is one issue as i can see in this video and many others: there is no chip dmg. And thus idk if its modified or what people everywhere get 0 chip dmg i tried guard 5 guard up i tried vaal hazak too, people just somehow manage to block stuff like shara ishvalda beam or fatalis breath with 0 chip dmg taken, while fatalis leaves me at half hp shara ishvalda kills in 2 secs. everyone says its guard 5 guard up (have it) some ppl says its vaal hazak (tried it) there are no other answers both in reddit or forums. mind answering how its done? since video is fresh you might check the comments. or is it just modded it to negate chip dmg? which i dont want to do.
lmao... well it's not modded, you can clearly see in the first teostra super nova I block, there is chip damage. some attacks will always deal chip damage, as it's not possible to guard EVERYTHING without taking any damage ever, even with guard 5, guard up, vaal soulvein, etc, some attacks are either unguardable (Safi'jiiva nuke, for example) or will always cause chip damage
You take more chip damage if you block with the guard stance (counter -> kneel to block) which is counter-intuitive but it is how it is. Often (especially with guard up + guard 5) you're better off just holding block instead - much less chip damage and still blocks pretty much everything.
you'll get there, again this is endgame maxed set, you're not close to that level if you're not even MR100. Use combo decos, drop a couple percent of affinity here and there, it doesn't have to be perfect. This is what you grind towards, so you won't just have it immediately!

that's a safi'jiiva lance but with the blackveil vaal hazak layered weapon skin! it's from the infinite HP lance set
