    I have just passed my 1-year mark on mine. I love it.
    I was just commenting today on the things that you never knew you needed until you have them. Heated (and cooled) seats, heated steering wheel, massage seats are all pretty divine. The HUD that's integrated with the navi. Just amazing.

    • @Tomm9y
      @Tomm9y 3 года назад +1

      HUD sounds interesting. I like the separate navigation screen on my current XC70, not sure about (a) the location of the screen lower down (b) combining other functions on the screen. I know there are some buttons, but most routine functions should be one click at barely a glance. I mostly drive on fast windy roads, or in traffic, it's not safe to fiddle with these multifunction screens. Also being tall, when I sit in an V60/V90 the screen is at the limit of my extended arm, added difficulty in using a touch screen. I wish these cabins had no shiny/silver surfaces, there is simply too much bling going on. I guess they are trying to sell into a variety of markets.

    I know this is late but at the time of this video, volvo hadnt done the software update to add in inductive smart phone charging for iPhone12+. Also, in regards to the navigation map being blocked off by the seat adjustment, you can add your nav to the driver display so it show in two places. It'll be located between your tachometer and your speedometer

    If anyone thinks the newer models are too expensive, I say go for a 2015-2018 model. Had one since 2019 and been all over the country with it. Sadly, somebody crashed into it and totaled it recently, but i plan on getting another one from 2015-2018.

    Very late to the video release here, but anyone complaining about the climate control in the screen hasn't lived with the car. It is VERY intuitive and quick to respond. The climate works well enough that I very rarely ever change it. I've had both a 21 V60 PE, and a 22 S60.

    Im not familiar with Volvo but interested in wagon for makeshift camping conversion to sleep on roadtrips. Confused in diff V90 vs V60 and XC 90 and XC 60? For cargo space in back, what is length, width, and height with 2nd row seats down? One thing Id definitely prefer is higher cargo space- looks like average sized person would bump their heads if using as bed, or if as hauling things like just couple stacked boxes it would block back window since not very high.. I dont need 3rd row for passengers but if its more room for cargo then yes. Trying to decide if want XC 60 bc cargo area looks higher and better visibility? Is there a longer V90 version that's not as " squatty" in cargo area? I also thought I saw in one review one model had a little built in " trunk" under the third row, very handy as really miss having trunk when choosing wagon/suv over sedan.

    in italy, i ordered a v60 in december 2021, it was supposed to arrive in june 2022 but they postponed delivery from time to time. a shame. and volvo italia gave no explanation other than to speak of a pandemic and a war in progress ... I do not know that Italy is at war with anyone. when they told me I had to wait another three months and there was no certainty about the timing, I canceled the contract ....
    very bad experience with this brand.

      Do not act like you was living on the moon. From EU Citizen prespective (not Italy) - War affects everything. Italy rely on russian gas for example as well as all other countries and factories located there. Drivetrains for all volvos are made mainly in Poland in GKN so when they have problem with supplies of anything, production of volvo cars stop. There are also thousands supply chains broken due to china zero covid policy. You cannot imagine how difficult is to manage that these days.

    Reasons why my 2001 S60 is better
    1. It doesn’t miss a cylinder
    2. M56
    3. 250Hk and 410Nm which should be enough keep up with the newer V60/S60 T5 as my S60 is lighter.
    4. My S60 doesn’t stop going at a pathetic 180Km/h limit, it will go up to 250Km/h
    5. Fiscal buttons and controls
    6. Pop pop UP AND DOWN....navigation uint
    7. A real hand brake
    8. A traction control system which is able to be turned off
    9. It didn’t cost an arm and leg
    10. The analog gauge cluster, which won’t age as badly as a screen.
    11. Did a mention it has 1, 2, 3, 4.....5 CYLINDERS!

      Except here in sweden normal people often camt afford it because of our fuel taxes, emission taxes and car tax because of emission tax. A new diesel motor is so much cheaper to own.
      Edit: with a new car i mean 2016 models. Newer than thar and we go bankrupt over the "New Car" tax..

    • @klaspeppar5619
      @klaspeppar5619 3 года назад

      @@jontetomte9271 bullsh*t, diesels are penalised in the yearly "Fordonsskatt", the fuel it self is also taxed more (moms) since Diesel is cheaper to produce but still cost more per liter to buy than 95 octane.
      The newer Diesel are still more fuel efficient in general, but on the other hand depreciation, which also is a thing to consider really hurts newer cars.
      Loan payments are also a cost to consider with newer car, since pretty much no Swed can afford to buy a newer car with out a bank loan.
      Then there is the insurance cost is probably higher for the newer car which is worth more.

      @@johngaudet6316 you can't turn the DSTC off completely only the "STC part" can be turned off which slightly reducing the interferences of DSTC.
      Basically you can turn off traction control and make the "dynamic" stability control less aggressive, but throw it hard enough side ways and the car will do everything in it's power to straighten back up, pull the belts and in some cases turn the traction back on and make the stability control aggressive again. Best looking Volvo and great interior but for me that is where it ends. The new Volvo 4 cylinder engines are under powered for the 4K lbs plus vehicles and all their wagons V90/V60 variants have significantly less space than their predecessors which goes against why we buy wagons. I have the V60 Cross Country, and yes, the interior is smaller than any similar sized competition.
      HOWEVER, this is because of safety and the occupants capsule which is way safer than anything similar, exactly because it's shaped around safety. Let me tell you this as well: getting in and out of the back seat is terrible, because the B-pillar is also fat, and not only that, has triangles of steel in the corners for extra safety.
      Exactly why I bought it, for safety, for my family and to have no worries about what happens in case of an accident. The driver assistants are great as well for that purpose.
      If that's what interests you, there is no competition. The only brand that promises to reach for 0 dead in the immediate future
