Great video, I am now subscribed! :-) I tried an MT09 when they first came out and loved the engine but the standard suspension was dreadful. I like wheelies and seeing how easy your SP brings up the front it's got me seriously interested. My Z900RS Cafe is a great bike but far from a natural wheelie machine.
👍cheers, I really like the z900RS, such a great looking bike and I have always been a fan of Kawasaki 4 cylinders, but if you fancy something that is really playful the MT or the new xsr900 is definitely worth a look.
Nice bike. I am considering the MT09 to be my next one. One thing wondering though; if it makes wheelies that easy (seemingly)...isn't the front feeling "too light" in makeing corners and especially accelerating out of them?
Thanks. It is a great bike, I'm sure that you would enjoy it. The feel from the front end is very good, the headstock is 30mm lower than the previous generation which gives it a nice planted feel and a sense of weight over the front in the corners. The bars do go light but this is usually provoked by hard acceleration in the lower gears, it's not unmanageable by any means. There's also the option of eliminating wheel lift altogether via the electronics if you so wish👍
@@tankslapmoto9999 Thanks for the reply. I am used to bikes with top fairing. Tracer WAS my first choice, but at my age (50) I dont ride all year around anymore (Nehterlands)...so nakes by would suit me fine for spring-to-autumn. Ik will plan a test ride or hire for a day. Thanks again and safe rinding! GRT Emiel
@tankslapmoto You stayed that was your 1st wheelie. Do you not consider the others or is there a specific distance you consider for an wheelie? Also do you clutch up or power up the ones you do in your videos? Thanks for the reply and cheers from San Francisco Bay Area California
@TankslapMoto Does the front wind break help? Any issues with the bike? I was going to get either 890R, RS 660, R7, MT9/10, ST 765, but the reliability of the MT09 along with seating position over R7 and Wheelie help sealed the deal. Also the paint scheme. I LOVE blue!! Just wished I had a front fairing to help mitigate the wind. Thanks in advanced and Hello from Bay Area Silicon Valley California.
Hi, yes, the fly screen does help a little, no real issues (check out our review for more details). It is a great bike, mind you all of them in your list are great options. I'm sure that you would have a lot of fun on any of them in sunny California (I visited once and I was impressed with the canyon roads) Enjoy👍
I agree the term makes more sense in the CP4, with the crankpins at 90°. In terms of who's quicker... It's a tricky one, I'm definitely faster off road but it could be a different story on the tarmac, I tend to ride the bike too hard and tie it in knots whereas he's silky smooth... hopefully we will do some track day's together next year and settle it😂
Man doing wheelies on this thing is addictive. I love clicking from 2nd to 3rd on mine and carrying it. I did a reveal vid for mine ruclips.net/video/H2ZDQ5QQO3s/видео.html. Love the Troy Corser wheelie!
Joe Satriani Lid ...like it 👍🏼
Nice!
Cheers👍
Good work fella, great bike control, must be your motocross background?

Nice helmet, what make is it?
It's a Bell Eliminator
Stay safe bro
What screen is that.
OEM Yamaha Fly screen
Only the CP4 is a true crossplane, although it's probably fair to call the CP2 and CP3 crossplane "philosophy" BTW, who's quicker, you or your bruv? 😜
