  • This is my crash with my Mt07. I was very lucky and didn´t sustain any serious injuries. The Bike is totaled.
    Tires: Pirelli Angel Gt2
    Exhaust: IXIL Hyperlow XL (riding with 1 of 2 Silencer)
    Handlebar: Raximo Alu-Handlebar Tour 22mm

    Did you not hear the scraping cause of your helmet? I would probably let go off the gas if I heard that I was too leaned in haha.

    You are lucky that guard rail didn't split you in half, or dismember a arm or leg, MT07 is a fun bike but not a super sport.

      Dosent have anything todo with super Sport or no... just too much lean angle and dragging foot pegs i think

      Body positioning especially upper body positioning is needed to prevent these crashes...

      He was far too aggressive on the gas and accelerated too early. His footrest grinded and he gave full throttle. You shouldn't accelerate at such a lean angle.

      ​​@@everythingsbetternaked473 body position is rarely the issue. The dude was straight up accelerating into turns. That combined with his speed and lean angles was really testing the limits of traction

    Omg you were so lucky. You hit those railings that are infamous for removing legs, arms and heads.
    What do you think was the cause?
    You were scraping pegs so I'm guessing you didn't have any more lean available, and I i think you gave it a bit more throttle. But you have skills too. That start wheelie, how you gently touched down was nice.
    I liked how you could comfortably ride "far distant view" line in the corners. I liked your positioning.
    For me, I i thought maybe you were pushing too hard, not leaving any room for error or mishap.
    But you were the rider, you had the feels, so what happened?

    Glad you are okay, that was crazy.
    Do you think it was tires that didn’t handled your style of riding? Because I ride like that but I use supercorsa v2 sp on my mt07 2020.
    do you think it was something else that cause the crash?

      The tires are very good, I can really recommend them (one of the best I ever rode), but it was just way too much lean angle. I would say no street tire could handle that much.

      @@Lausbua_Rides maybe I should try them, no critism at all, but do u think your body position as a factor as well? If your put your body more out of the bike, like in the motogp, I fell like you could easily drag knee on every corner, you were scraping the footpeg so… but your riding it’s pretty good overall I love it. Looking forward for more videos in the future

      @@JokerGamingCat Sure, if I would scrape my knee, i would not crash. And I had only 2cm till my elbow, so I would say i know how to ride proper haning off.

      @@Lausbua_Rides i think it was the scraping if it was the kickstand that thing wont give like foot peg so leaning on it will take pressor of the rear tire maybe thats what happend

    Glad you're alright. When I get my MT07 I am will be extra, extra careful. That looked so scary man... If you'd have hit that railing or clipped your head enough on it... Just glad you're safe.

    You can hear the kickstand scratching for a while before the crash. If only you had noticed.

    Weißte worans lag oder war das wieder einer dieser Fälle wo es alles sein könnte? Reifen sind ja anscheinend gute gewesen von Pirelli.

      Am Reifen lag es sicher nicht. Ich muss sagen, es war einfach viel zu viel Schräglage gewesen, da hätte jeder Straßenreifen aufgegeben. Dazu hat mir schon fast 1cm von der Fußraste gefehlt. (Nicht vom diesen Stift, der war schon lange weg).

      Schleife so selten mit denen, dürfte rühig öfter sein. 😅😅

      @@2lbsTrigrPull Ja mein Händler hat auch zu mir gesagt ob ich lebensmüde bin, weil sowas hat er noch nie gesehen. Und die Stifte sind ja dafür da damit man weiß wann es langsam mal genug Schräglage ist.

      @@Lausbua_Rides Die Stifte haben einen guten Puffer nach oben würde ich sagen. Also wenn ich mal mit einer Raste geschliffen habe, habe ich immer noch so ugnefähr einen Zentimeter Angststreifen am Hinterrad. Da ist also noch Luft nach oben.

      wouldn't really have much of an effect on corners tbh. It was just losing traction that caused this due to lean angle

    take off foot pegs and ride like you want

      and dont put weight on your pegs, sure they can move but not that much when you put weight on it with your feet. Better buy short ones and replace stock ones with those pin. its fucking dangerous and puts pressure of your tires in curves when the pin is touching the ground even its movable.

      @@Lausbua_Rides Don't you think it was a combination of weight on inside peg and too much lean (scraping)?
      When you weight the inside peg and scrape the ground you will unload that weight from the motorcycle thus decreasing the downward pressure on the rear tire and therefore decreasing grip. In other words, your weight which is normally pressing on the bike is now pressing on the ground through your peg.

    I ride monsters much bigger than that 689 CP2.
    Now i know why in my country, Brazilian gov wants to put A2 versions on bikes, what i personally think is a major bull+×÷=, since its a question of ponderation and self aware while riding. Restrictions are unecessary.
    That obligation is coming because of people like this.
