Normally, people pick them out like this: R32: Historically the most important, and the lightest GT-R making it the best platform for serious modifications, IMO R33: Cheapest way to get a GT-R in your garage R34: The quickest Skyline GT-R and the most famous due to it’s appearance in The Fast and the Furious as well as 95% of racing games R35: The quickest GT-R overall I think all Skyline GT-R’s look amazing, but in my opinion I like the boxy, less “in your face” look of the R32 the most. The lack of driver input needed for the R35 is where Nissan lost most Skyline lovers. Look at how much more fun the other drivers are having because they have to work more with the car. R33 has the best looks and driver input balance for me. #liner4life
im pretty sure nissan said that they are splitting the gtr from the skyline family because the 09 GTR is a pure breed Super Care. Unlike the previous GTRs which were not classified as supercars.
What's make the R34 GT-R is the best than the R33 or R32 because R34 is using a 6 speed manual transmission and that makes the HP is more than 280bhp but R35 model is okay.

The R32 is stepping out so much because it's AWD system is difrent then the R33/R34/R35. The R32 does sent more power to the rear wheels compared to the R33/R34
The r32 had 16" rims with 225 rubber and tiny brakes, the r32 brake pedal would have been like sponge half way around nur. The r33 had 17" rims with i think 245 and big brembo brakes. Those two factors alone would have made the 21 sec difference.
The 200kg more in the r35 is probably due to the massive 3.8l v6 in it, rather than the 2.6l in the r34...i'd say that would add a lot more weight.. it is a very heavy for a supercar but because its designed for relatively high comfort as a street car at the same time, its not too unacceptable..
also give a r32 gtr the equvilent HP of the r35 (478hp) and it would probably give faster lap times. r35 is an amzing car in saying that and extremely good value, remember when r32 gtrs first came out they were $120,000.
I own a lovely r32 gtr and I can assure any of you keyboard warriors, that the r32 gtr is a car that needs to be driven to understand what it is capable of. An engineering masterpiece. My example puts out 368awkw's and I can assure you it handles and stops as hard as it goes.
not just bathurst, it won every race it entered in japan and some were with 160kg balist in the boot. the main improvements in the r33 were not electronic. yes it had the attessa ver 2 but it was still a mechanical system not electronic like the R35. The main advantage were in brakes and tyres (hence the faster time). the cars they designed after the r32 were all slower but could handle more power without modifications.the r32 is also way better looking then the r33. r34 is nicest.
that guy was scared to hammer the R32 that shit had some acceleration if you think about it. and all that stuft i heard about the r35 im disappointed. but good video
@spidey0123 I can see where you are coming from. GTR32 was released at the right time because Japanese auto industry was booming back then. They were trying almost 'ANYTHING' to make their performance cars better and faster. They also had this "Emmission Control Agreement" policy so the power had to be massively detuned for a street use. However, 550HP wouldn't have been possible from the factory even if there was no limit. GTR32 was a great car, but time has changed, mate. Let's move on ...
the 32 feels good. its nice and tight. you can feel the car. the 33 is stupid, you fell small in the cockpit and its like the car is a boat. no input on the 34. i have not driven one yet...
Mines is not too fast buddy, they are famous for their handling and response. Their usual tuned up would stick around 500-600ps. (they recommended this setting.) Their ECU works wonders!!
Come on ... GTR32, 33, and 34 are legendary sports cars. But they were NEVER considered as "Super Cars". GTR35 is a different breed. It is now the fastest and the best super car Japanese auto industry ever created. A lot of kids here will try to argue on this comment. Do your research if you can't believe it.
R33 still have some biting fang left, amazing what can a computer swap can do to put a huge gap between R32 and R33, even though using the same power plant, but alas got left in the dust with dated 4WD system and ceramic turbo...

R34 is the best. My favorite car
R3444
Family reunion but no hakosuka :(
Ahhh i wish i had R33 GTR :(
Yeah, and besides only 500 LFA's are going to be made. As a comparison, for example GT-R is a full-time production car, although handbuilt.
Cool Vid, but the new GTR should have less weight. He is to heavy to be a real sport car, but the technique is very good.
you got to understand the r35 is considered a supercar so no shit that they would have to increase the performance on the other skylines
I put on captions and at 2:10 it says " Tanganyika cherries do so chocolate vodka go squad under Miko" 😂😂😂
One day i will buy a R33 GTR Love this Car 😍
The Skyline did good, but I think the Skyline did better. =P
also give a r32 gtr the equvilent HP of the r35 (478hp) and it would probably give faster lap times. r35 is an amzing car in saying that and extremely good value, remember when r32 gtrs first came out they were $120,000.
I own a lovely r32 gtr and I can assure any of you keyboard warriors, that the r32 gtr is a car that needs to be driven to understand what it is capable of. An engineering masterpiece. My example puts out 368awkw's and I can assure you it handles and stops as hard as it goes.
but its still in the skyline family, thats why its got the badge GTR on it.
not just bathurst, it won every race it entered in japan and some were with 160kg balist in the boot. the main improvements in the r33 were not electronic. yes it had the attessa ver 2 but it was still a mechanical system not electronic like the R35. The main advantage were in brakes and tyres (hence the faster time). the cars they designed after the r32 were all slower but could handle more power without modifications.the r32 is also way better looking then the r33. r34 is nicest.
Crap, typo error. but there's a Vq30dett version.
@drauglintuor
well said. The real GT-Rs ends with the inline 6 models.
The RWD 33 is having a hard time keeping up with the AWD
that guy was scared to hammer the R32 that shit had some acceleration if you think about it. and all that stuft i heard about the r35 im disappointed. but good video
u have to say that the amuse r35 is sick man
If the R32/33/34 were stock they would get smoked by the R35 plus that would actually be a interesting race.
@spidey0123
I can see where you are coming from.
@shobin05
it is a skyline though hence the fact that it has GTR in it like ALL the other SKYLINES plus its a 35 meaning its also the continuation
@brianrulesman its no VQ 38, its a VR38DETT to be specific and yeah the straight 6's sound much nicer :)
casually shooting flames
Come on ... GTR32, 33, and 34 are legendary sports cars. But they were NEVER considered as "Super Cars". GTR35 is a different breed. It is now the fastest and the best super car Japanese auto industry ever created. A lot of kids here will try to argue on this comment. Do your research if you can't believe it.
they all good.the rest of them hang with the pack.i wanna see them go againts the super gt r35.
R33 still have some biting fang left, amazing what can a computer swap can do to put a huge gap between R32 and R33, even though using the same power plant, but alas got left in the dust with dated 4WD system and ceramic turbo...
