That is INSANELY bright. Holy crap!!! That fan kicking on is absolutely awesome to me. Would love to see you point it at a large building or stadium even. Great review.

13'000 lumens of sustained output is insane for a flashlight of this size. Hope more manufacturers start using fan cooling and heat pipes.

I know! And the fact it is able to hold turbo for ~40 seconds is amazing!

2:21 Amazing, but "1lumen" web shows that middle 1 at 5000 lm last for a larger time: 1 : 45, see:
"Turbo mode started over 65000 lumens and dropped to just above 10,000 lumens in 50 seconds. At 0h44min the light shuts off, soon.
High mode starts at over 26,000 lumens and slowly decreases to 24,000 lumens in exactly 3 minutes, and then drops to about 10,000 lumens as well. Total runtime: 0h42min
Med2 is quite stable at 10,000+ lumens and sustains this output till it turns off at 0h48min
Med1 runs at 5,000 lumens for 1h45min before it turns off.
Med Low runs at a little over 3,000 lumens for 3h08min.
Low runs at 1700-1800 lumens straight till it turns off at 4h44min"

Thanks for sharing this. Does the flashlight 🔦 turn off every few minutes to cool off? For the 42min run, not the turbo setting

      @@andrewmarsman3294 no. Always on

Thanks for sharing and comparing. For the price I’m definitely thinking MS12. The ms18 looks amazing but it’s not tons brighter, and ms12 seems more practical

I consider this to be a 13000 lumen flashlight. Turbo is too limited in use time.

    • @LumenChaser
      @LumenChaser  2 года назад

The useable throw is about ~500meters not crazy but it is definitely useable

And how comfortable is it in the hand, not too big for walking?

I made a flaslight using a 100w chip crammed into a Black and Decker spotlight. It required a constant current 36v power supply run from 12v. I used a projection TV lens to focus the insane light. It's on my channel.

I did not see the "orange peel".
The reflectors looked smooth to me, although the camera didn't focus long enough for me to be sure.

made in china doesnt mean shit, dont expect a product to be really Cheap AND Great Quality at the same time, i only buy clothing, tools, knives and camping gear etc thats made in EU, UK, USA, JAPAN but Electronics (Not cheap crap) from China are just as good as "made in USA", for example my Fenix flashlights Headlamps etc. Edit, i dont but stuff made outside of china because its that much "better" but because i want to support smaller Manufacturers and brands and keep "Local" manufacturing going.
