Chris: Not to embarass you but your nose and face around your nose is red alot. I would like to ask that you get a rheumatologist to take a look at your blood. I suffer from an autoimmune disease called fibromyalgia and it is typical of people with allergies and it also has that pattern of redness around the nose and cheeks. It's called the butterfly formation. Typically it's caused by any number of autoimmune diseases, please have them do an Antinuclear antibody (ANA) test. It will check for stable antibodies. It might take two sets of blood tests to find out if there is any such problem. I would ask this only to help because I fear you may end up with issues soon which may cause problems in your marriage!

I really appreciate you guys and your Channel. I'm a straight guy and I don't have any gay friends because I'm from a small town and I really don't go out much. I've been with my girlfriend now for 12 years and it's just me, her and my children. You guys are the first gay couple I've really been exposed to I guess you could say and you seem like a really great people. When you were asked the question about kissing in public in my opinion it doesn't bother me when two men or women kiss as long as they're not making out. The making out thing goes for straight people though as well nobody wants to watch two people make out it's just awkward, especially when you have your children with you. Whether the couple is gay or straight it's just weird if you're at a baseball game or somewhere and two people are just eating each other's faces LOL.
You are so right: Respect and Trust....it's not possible without them, and love of course too. But sometimes love is not really enough by itself. You guys are lucky in many ways, but I appreciate that you share the challenges of the relationship as well. Many of us have "romantic" view, and it's important to be realistic at the same time. I am in a 31 year age gap. I have always found older men attractive. I met my partner when he was 56. We have been together now for 5 years and we have never been happier.
