    Very nice tutorial! Here is a small tip: if you click on the V-Ray camera button in the V-Ray toolbar, it will create a new VRayPhysicalCamera _and_ align it to the current active view. It saves a few clicks...

    Thank you. Amazing effect in a short time. I've never used "Object paint". You have shown that it is a very easy tool that helps you in your work. Thanks :)

      You're very welcome Daniel, thanks for watching. Were you using an alternative to object paint before, or just manually placing objects?

    very awesome tutorial bro / just need some help pls!... do you have any idea to Save Render Setting to be ( vray preset) for vray 5, please

    • @jakedenham
      @jakedenham  3 года назад

      Yes, in the Render Settings (F10) You should see a dropdown called Preset. Click that and you should see Save. Save your preset and then you will be able to load it.

    Thanks for the tips and amazing video, I have a question what is the render time for your scene and how to edit the render settings if you want to make it into a 15sec movie?
    I'm working on a garden scene and the render time is 7min, I tried different settings and its only dropping the resolution and time to 4min.
    Hope you can advise me, Thanks

      hi maher, you can set the render time for each frame in the render settings. turn denoising on aswell.

    Why did the exposure change after you applied the ground material?

    • @jakedenham
      @jakedenham  3 года назад

      2:04 Turn on auto exposure in the render settings

    • @martindimitrov516
      @martindimitrov516 3 года назад

      @@jakedenham Yea but after you apply the actual material later on to the ground plane the exposure changed again.

    • @jakedenham
      @jakedenham  3 года назад

      @@martindimitrov516 It takes in to consideration the materials too. So if you add a really light or dark material when you have auto camera exposure on it will change the camera exposure.

      @@Michaelonely I always think there are a ton of tools in max that get over looked. Object paint being one of them. I might put together a video on the most overlooked tools in 3ds max 🙂
