very tight fitting. The only experience I have with CNC is the tolerance stackups I did while at Bosch. Small plastic parts. My studies were according to Alex Krulekowski's max/min work sheets. I enjoyed it for some reason. The parts I studied were very small engine components, the GPB motors to be exact. Radial studies mostly . For FMC Technologies, I found that the engineers were using the intranet GDT standards which were very very poorly defined. Which explained why when Shell oil received valve bodies from FMC , none of them were the same...out of tolerance all over because of poorly defined primary datums. The engineers didn't care for me much because their use of datums in no way matched the ASME standards.

I really wish my company put videos online of our work as I believe we don't have any NDA's but they think it won't be varied enough and it would lose interest quickly. I beg to differ, we do very similar work to you guys and its nearly always different, from tiny graphite electrodes to 10,000kg dies...
How can you be sure Z0 allignment it's ok?, How much of tolerance you can allow for this Holding block?

An insert goes into the hole. That's where it's most accurate. The accuracy of Z0 was +/- 0.01 mm measured at 4 locations.

Привет, есть такая функция. Но проблематично вставить в программу чпу. Вот почему мы предпочитаем не использовать его.

Your machine decelerates a lot when Machining. This is obviously ideal for tool and die finishing but surely this could be adjusted for roughing operations? There is bound to be substantial savings in Machining time on a large job. Love the videos 👌

This is caused by the tool mode (AICC 2) that is turned on in the postprocessor.
@@CncFrezar that is correct. There is some adjustments you can make to let the machine "cut corners" for roughing but we haven't got it right yet.
I could tell you how to change it on a heidenhain control though 😅

@@martin94518 use cycle 32. It give you a tolerance value. For finishing i use 0.02mm and for roughing I use 0.1-0.2 depending on the amount of stock I'm leaving on as the higher the value the more it will take off corners.
