So if Sylvia told us that she had a new studio in a space station orbiting the planet, I would beleive it. That's the kind of thing she'd do. Massy is the next level to the next level.
“Okay guys, so today we’re running the bass sound through the moon and using the space station as a compressor...”
I will even listen to a woman's point of view but it does not mean you have to buy one. She has tracked an orkestrah recently so a Big Band of Boy's needs controlling, bur the surround sound thing is not gonna take off for the poor listener.
I don't know a dang thing about music production, but Sylvia's personality is so magnetic and I *occasionally* learn something.
She is the ‘Bob Ross’ of music production :P
If you came to this, or this came to you, you may know more than you think you know. Best!
@@tdc026 she's amazing. Undertow is still the best sounding albun from Tool
50% of me wants you to be my mom; 50% of me thinks you're a spooky witch
And 100% of me wants her to be my wife!
And here I am still living on stereo.
Still 3d though.lol
Just passively going over "we have over 2k mics here" is amazing lol
My goodness her personality is electrifying and she's so good and knowledgable about what she does ... Sylvia's my celebrity crush lol.
Absolutely gorgeous woman
I love seeing her get excited about anything at all.
Antelope audio is amazing! Even their older "legacy" equipment. I have their Rev 2017 Orion studio and for a small scale analog/hybrid studio it's perfect. Once you learn the i/o it will all come together.
When the stimulus hit your bank account and you can finally get that gear you've been wanting for ages...
Wish I could drop 9k one audio interface . Straight ballin 🤑
We all love you. And can't wait to hear that Atmos. Xoxoxoxo
It's incredible how someone who talks this calmly does so much insane shit. Super rad.
She is so enigmatic, I'm in love with how passionate and knowledgeable she is draws me right into her world.
I’ve been a musician my whole life, literally, and I feel the way you feel...it gets more exciting every single day! You are inspiring!!!
It never gets old as long one keeps growing and learning
Awesome content sylvia!, love your insights and perspective you are so creative! brings out the best in people, thnx for sharing!
I love your videos and your productions. You are an inspiration to push the boundaries. I hope one day I come down to Ashland and meet you and check out your amazing studio. Kudos.
Looking good Sylvia! 😎😘
New toys! You look amazing Sylvia! Last video I saw of you was a few years ago. Keep that smile up! You are the Queen!
I'm taking your course at Berklee this semester and lady, you're my new mentor. I can't stop grinning at your energy and knowledge. I've only just gotten into my first year of music production, but I can't wait to try some things out once I get more free time outside of classes. Can't wait to learn more from you!
This I/O can handle everything: asbestos, lupus, the magazines from Super Cuts, MTV's Dan Cortese...
Ashland, OR’s hottest night spot
Covid it can handle Covid
Congratulations 🎊🎈🎉🍾
I think you're the greatest Sylvia!!
Epic setup Sylvia!
She does freaky things to find sounds , pretty cool
Congrats! I went to a presentation of an album mixed in Dolby Atmos at Dolby SoHo and I was very impressed! However, I was a bit overwhelmed because I couldn't shake the feeling that it would be a long time before I made the plunge and bought all the extra IO and monitoring necessary to give it a go.
I don't know what most of that means but it sure sounds dope as hell!
Hi Sylvia! I found your videos a while ago and they're realy something extra. I so much enjoy the way you experiment with different signal chains in order to color and alter the sound of different sources. I completely agree with you that having fun while making music (or audio in general for that matter) is the key to get great and interesting results. I believe the "fun vibe" translates to the end listener and it's such an important ingrediens in all creative venues. I look forward to see your upcoming videos when you've got all set up with the Antelope Galaxy 64. Warm greeetings from Sweden! / Daniel
Sylvia your voice makes me so happy!
2000 mics 😳Wow that’s impressive.
Hell you are going to have soooo much fun😀
Now, you're just showing. Please continue!
Super cooooool!!!
Congrats🕴
I had to google what 9.2.4 meant 😅 that's insane! Looking forward to seeing the process
I love her so much
Nice! Sylvia rules!
Amazing
sounds cool, all this recording stuff is way beyond what i understand but id like to see the installation anyways !
Crazy Cool!
It sweet!
I’d love to help you test out the new gear!! I’m here in Oregon!
Thats what I want write and record
Rock music in surround or quadraphonic
I love Antelope interfaces! Especially since they got their drivers in order! Still not as good as Motu or RME drivers, but they hold the top for driver support....Anyway.....I'm very fucking glad I don't have to deal with unhooking all your cords and wires that you already have hooked up to your other interface, and deal with keeping track of them and hooking them up to the Galaxy! That would take me months to figure out!
To quote Apollo Smile"Lets Rock"
@sylvia would be awesome if you'd run a competition to win some of your old gear! I'm not talking about the pickles :)
Given the video quality I had to look at the date of the video twice. I guess you gotta set priorities :-) But imagine how all that gear would look like on an awesome camera!
And what exactly would be her motivation for better camera quality?
I thinks it's kinda funny she flashed us with like $20grand of audio gear but the vid quality is still Windows 95.
@@187onasimp my thoughs exactly, when she pointed out that 9.2.4 genelec setup :-)
@@ChrisP3000x Same reason for buying all that expensive studio gear. A better listening experience for the consumer and in this case a better viewing experience for the viewer.
@@187onasimp No. She gets PAID for studio work from actual clients. AGAIN, what is HER motivation for appeasing "viewers" (YT bums).
How come you have a full Atmos system? Do you mix a lost for film and games? I'd become crazy if I had to focus on more than two channels.
That looks incredible . How are you liking that unit ?
😎🤘😎🤘😎🤘
I think I’m in love with this women
Your not the only one...
Hi Sylvia! Come see my studio in Forest Grove?
Let me know how it sounds!!! I’ll need 3 of them
Your still the best😘🎉🎉, you got the boys jelouse lol,
I know this is just a paid advertisement but still makes me want to buy it lol
Sylvia's my top choice if ever am able to afford to hire a pro/ legendary engineer & audio visionary!
Sylvia ❤️ ..record me plleeeeaaassseee!!
Dang, I'm out of touch. What's the .4 stand for in 9.2.4? I'm expecting this is 2 fronts, 1 center, 4 sides and 2 rears (9) with 2 subs. Are we talking 2 above and below? :o
Hi Sylvia, long time fan, if you have time to answer this one it will be a help... i noticed u have an ISA one analogue, I'm considering getting the digital card installed, couldn't find videos for an A/B comparison, I'm not sure if you have the digital AD card either but if you do... worth it?
You said two thousand mics here...
what make console is that ?
...i can play the spoons Sylvia 😉.
Here I am saving for a Presonus 200 euro interface haha
2000 mics... I've got ways to go, only have 2 xD
Dwarfs my rig.

Super Mario Galaxy 64
Sylvia .. how can i give you money to help me get my song the way i like it???? Whats the name of your studio?
can do everything. washes your dishes. mows the lawn. kills the covids. causes peace in middle east. prepares you dinner. handles midi. etc. 😂
No love for Ableton?
If they only knew!
Please adopt me.
Looks like someone got there teeth done...
marry me
Is Pro-Tools even relevant anymore?
