as a Discrete 4 mk1 user... it really hurt when he said "Antelope is always overachieving.."
"Hans Zimmerman" LOL
for that price it better last 30 years
He has a massive brain.
👦💖
:)
They should do a version with leads I/O cause the price will be out of reach for home users. I moving away from USB or Thunderbolt on pc is good cause t has been their drivers that have been antelopes weak points besides questionable hardware quality. But sonically they sound the best to me. It sounds like perfect hybrid between crystal clear digital and analog. I this new antelope guy I really like him!
try new Lynx Aurora N
This is not meant for home studios, for that they have the Orion line.
@@klvAcosta I just want to know if the converters in this one are better than my Samsung Galaxy S9!
@@RealHomeRecordingman i clip the converters with this one on my master and oh my, way better than the burl and lynx aurora i tried, i can achieve 6/5 lufs everytime w no problem w this one, it sound so 3D and open without sounding harsh like the burl, best converters to clip out here
@@slattslatt7946 interesting! I will have to try it...Access Analog have Galaxy converters up on their server.
Not worth it
Don't buy anything from them. Their shit is just not working, and their support is the worst there is.
I have an orion 32 hd gen 3, for a year now, and Im struggling to make it work. Lost a ton of jobs because of it.
My Gen 3 works rock solid and their support has been amazing, maybe share you experience but don't people flat out not to buy their products . I know many people who don't have any problems with Antelope gear
@@MisticDW I have a thread on gearslutz.
I've talked to them until they just stopped answering.
And everyone that I know has some kind of problems with their products, except one guy, that had them access his computer trough team viewer to set up an interface that he couldnt make work for a month.
To damn high for an interface 7-10/11?? I could see if it was a console or tape machine
This industry if full of shit
