- Evan Peters has played Quicksilver aka Peter Maximoff in three X-Men movies released by 20th Century Fox - Days of Future Past, Apocalypse, and Dark Phoenix. In 2021, Evan surprisingly crossed over into the MCU, appearing on WandaVision as a fake Pietro Maximoff controlled by Agatha Harkness. He also made a cameo in Deadpool 2. My favorite Quicksilver moment was the apocalypse scene where he saved everyone in the mansion. The reveal was great I don't know why people are surprised he wasn't the fox X-Men quicksilver in this

They could have faster anybody to play Ralph but it was the smartest move for Evan Peters. Wanda didn’t know if it was pietro or not and the only way for us to experience the same thing is with Evan Peters. Anybody else we would have known it wasn’t and if it was Aaron Taylor then she wouldn’t have wondered if it was him or not and it wouldn’t make sense for there to be two of them in the world. They could have easily branched our into where the story went but this is a story about Wanda and her dealing with grief.

@@control4050 Well i don’t think flash is grumpy. In fact, flash is one of my favorite DC heroes. And I still think Quicksilver in the comics is kinda eh, but after Evan Peters came, Quicksilver got cooler. He’s at least cooler than the Justice League Movie flash.

Evan Peters is one of our future biggest stars! He’s yet to do anything I’ve found to be subpar. Plus as quicksilver he is fukn hilarious! And good natured. If you really want to see his acting talents, watch him in American Horror Story Hotel. That’s possibly the best I’ve seen him do. He’s in nearly every season, but that’s where he truly shines.
I feel the same way. This is why I started watching AHS. Even Peters is underrated.
Him as Peter made me get into AHS. I love most of his roles except Kai in that political season I never finished since no character was likable.
He also nailed the role as Kai! He is phenomenal.
I really wanted Even to be Quicksilver
This is the MCU’s first L. They made him a whole another character , they really could’ve utilize him for the crossover.
I know right, I didn't care for that finale and the only cool thing that happened was that Wanda embraced her inner self. They had Evan Peters at the palm of their hands. If this was about another project he was working on like AHS, then fine, I can excuse that for now. But they did him dirty regardless. I just hope that whenever the multiverse crosses over, he can come back and possess Ralph's body because Disney/Marvel Studios knew how much of a big deal his presence would be if he or the other X-men were introduced. And most of the spoilers were wrong. Thanks, internet.
So true! They really screwed the pooch when there was such a far better version of the “same” character and they chose wrong. I’d love to see him recast as quicksilver, but the background story would have to be believable and that would prove tough.
I think they have something planned. I think he could be Jimmy Woo's person in "witness protection". Did Agatha give him those powers or did she just use him by putting him under her control? Idk why he would be in witness protection, but the show left a few strings loose.
This probably shows there won't be a crossover. They just announced they're rebooting the X-Men so i doubt they'll do it unless it's like a cameo.

Man I was really hoping it would actually be quicksilver from the fox movies. But I knew it was about a 50/50 chance it was. But if they’re doing the multiverse I’d think that they would be focused on setting that up by bringing characters from separate universes into the mcu and not just their doppelgangers

It was the necklace that gave him powers, he had it on in every episode. His attitude changed from cocky to scared when she took it off. Most likely Agnes opened his mind like the other people beforehand.
She's a witch clearly that necklace was her giving him powers that resembled the real MCU Quicksilver

@@siddharth_0771 exactly the necklace is what made him her eyes and ears. She was controlling him through it and likely that's how he got his powers to replicate the ones of Pietro from her

Still can be Pietro from another Universe, the show did not explain the character's outcome nor his powers and I doubt Marvel will do it later, so I think his name is Ralph within the hex and his real name is Pietro like the final credits shows.

Ralph being Agatha's partner makes me still have hope... When the WestView residents were all together wathcing Wanda leaving, he wasnt there....I think Marvel will listen to our complains and bring him back as the character we all wanted him to be.... And dont forget about his Super Speed... Agatha is power full but she cant make a random guy run like hell... It doesnt make any sense... In my opinion Agatha kidnaped him and she didnt tell anyone cause traveling through the Multiverse is a unique power... So thats my theory...She kidnaped him cause she wanted someone with super speed to trick Wanda and make her reveal to her beloved twin how she created life and how she created Hex... So Agatha knows about Multiverse... In Doctor Strange 2 Wanda will mess with Multiverse trying to bring her children back but she will open the Hell Dimension freeing demons like Mephisto Lucifer Nightmare Satanish etc... While fighting all of them Agatha will help them to take the children from that Dimension and send the demons back to hell...

Did Marvel seriously cast Evan Peters as Quicksilver, give him gray hair, give him super speed, and REFER TO HIM as Pietro Maximoff and NOT expect us to think it was the X-Men version of Quicksilver? It's almost like this was specifically designed to be disappointing.

What’s up with him asking Monica if she was a Steven Sagal fan as he was putting in a movie? They already established the sitcom format moved to the 2000s. Sagal was popular in the early 90s. Could he have been the Quicksilver plucked from the last X-Men movie that was set in 1993? (Strums guitar dramatically)

Just to say my partcicular statement: Evan Peters' cast name should have been Ralph Peters - that would be the thing he had deserved and would be more satisfying for fans. Unless "Bohner" has another secret meaning than just to name a joke, this is the main problem of the reveal. Even Peters is the actor behind and that's why you also see probably the picture in WandaVision: It's the man behind Quicksilver who is literally playing his part (and just remember: He asked even Wanda whether he was fulfilling her exspectations with messing up with the kids and her husband) . And he did play now an actor playing the role of his life. I'm glad he wss able to act with the Marvel actors and actresses in his part. WandaVision is metafiction, somehow...and this idea belongs to the whole concept. Evan Peters did a very good job in all his Quicksilver-scenes, and raising the question of identity (--> Vision..): Is someone with Peter Maximoff's powers and character traits automatically Quicksilver? I guess, he was, as he was soemhow, although in my opinion, he was also different. Quciksilver is kind of open and the actor adds to the personality of a mere part. Fox Quicksilver wouldn't be the same without him...Yet, the impact of the MC-Multiverse is too big and they need to do it right. They just need to figure out. That's why it will be open until Disney decides to put Evan Peters officially into the MCU. Now that the fans truly want him, it's a big chance to return. WandaVision might have been audition for it...
Remember when everyone was dumping on him when they revealed it before DOFP? Then he stole the show with the kitchen scene. Turned out his Quicksilver was THE Quicksilver.

the finale was great it answered questions and set a lot of stuff up that's likely going to be answered later in probably Doctor Strange. And to anyone upset that Evan Peters character wasn't the fox Quicksilver It's your fault for believing he was going to be the fox X-Men Quicksilver especially when Kevin feige had already publicly stated there was going to be no X-Men or mutants until after their Five-Year plan. They didn't make Wandavision to crossover the fox characters or introduce mutants it was a self-contained story about Wanda dealing with her grief. Don't blame Marvel because your theory was wrong.
You must admit casting even as a fake pietro with quicksilver powers, is a little misleading. I understand your point I really do, but I guess I was hoping that Kevin only said that to throw us off a little bit.

In the X-Men movies he was in slow motion and he zippedd through places, in this he was running slower and you saw the streaks behind his running that you did with Aaron Taylor-Johnson Quicksilver. When they said the show leads at the doctor strange there was no rumors about Toby or Andrew peeing in Spiderman 3 at the time. I mean you people are acting like they brought him in and literally named him Peter from the X-Men Universe and changed it at the last minute when that wasn't the case his character was described as being a recast of the Aaron Taylor-Johnson Quicksilver and not once did I ever use the word "stupid" to describe the people that thought Evan Peters was playing the old Quicksilver here.
But the audience knows that he is the Quicksilver. Yes, that is Marvel’s fault for casting the actor whose Quicksilver role is awesome. Don’t blame the fans at that point wanting his role to continue.
