  • Gastroenterologist Olaya Brewer Gutierrez and minimally invasive surgeon Brett Parker, each from Johns Hopkin, discuss concomitant transoral incisionless fundoplication (cTIF), a procedure to treat gastroesophageal reflux that includes same session repair of a hiatal hernia via laparoscopy followed by endoscopical restoration of the gastroesophageal flap valve. They answer commonly asked questions such as: How does cTIF differ from TIF? Who are the best candidates for the procedure? What is recovery like? #cTIF #JohnsHopkins

I've been living a hell for 10 years... Ever aici a back injury, my hernia touches my heart and has caused PSVT hundreds and hundreds of times and AFib a few times... It's ruined my life in every way possible and makes me extremely physically limited... I've had every test in the world but only ever get pushed meds that don't help or even told once that I might need many many surgeries before something works.... I need something to reclaim my life.
