Great video! How long did that pinion and spur gear last? Cuz it was meshed WAYYYYYYYYYYYY TOO TIGHT! When you mesh the gears you want them to rock back and forth with a decent amount of free play. If the gears are touching like yours were in this video they will litterally eat themselves and will also get extremely hot from friction and break/melt or create lots of metal shavings.
@Mickado64 . The 5690 use 8 mm bulletin connectors it should have came with 6.5 connectors in the motor box to unsolder the 8 and put on the 6.5. I know the 1250kv has the 6.5 too 8 in the box
@Mickado64 it should fit, you really have to push really hard to get them to go in. They make them like that so the don’t pop out. You can try to squeeze the tips with some pliers just a lil bit. The tips has slits on it. If it’s too loose you can pry them back out carefully. It should be a really snug fit though.
@JoshuaRodriguez-ju7yy . It should work with the old 5687 1100kv just fine it use the 6.5 bullet connector the new 5690 use 8 bullet connectors only thing you would lose out on is the sensor capability what the g2 has to offer. But if you’re not worried about by all means.👊🏾💯
@djp2257 . Make sure that your throttle knob on remote is dead center at zero before calibrating. Sometimes if it sees a a signal either way it won’t calibrate
@DigiDarkness . Everything on the esc was stock settings out the box, didn’t touch anything was gonna turn the bec up To 8.4v but still running the stock servo.
@improvise_Adapt_0vercome . If running just the esc wit stock motor it will drop in. If running the combo you need a new motor mount that would push it back bout 5mm on the xmaxx would have to cut that plastic brace. But that’s the only thing you would have to mod. The XRT it should drop in if running the 5990 but would look cleaner wit an esc mount.👊🏾💯

@bifffsEquipment . I thought they was too tight too 🤦🏾 but that’s the mod 1.5 gears they are just loud AF 🤣🤣🤣👊🏾💯
Got one coming this week . I think I got the Bluetooth one but it can be done this way .
@Hungrybird474 . If it’s the G2 then yes it’s Bluetooth and how you can set your end points
thanks for sharing I just opened the new max 6 g2 and was like hold up where the set button at
@danielbrinkman8069 . Thanks for watching🙏🏾 glad It helped you out 👊🏾💯
Great video! One question though.. what do u mean by the title “plus BT”? Blue tooth?
@jasonramirez1074 . Thanks 🙏🏾..,Yeah the Max6 G2 has built in Blue tooth. So there’s no need for a program card or the Over the Air programmer 👊🏾💯
Thanks for all the videos of your xmaxx and Xrt. Nice upgrades. Are you and Engineer?
@johnganter9314 . Thanks for watching 🙏🏾 👊🏾💯. nah im no Engineer. 🤔why you ask?
hello, I received the 5690 G2 combo with the Max6 G2 but the 3 tips are incompatible

@@LBizzyRC It has the 6.5mm on it but they put an extra 8mm for the max5 G2. there are no connectors for the Max6 G2, I think the max6 g2 is 6mm

@@Mickado64there are adapters
thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching! 👊🏾💯
Can this esc also go with the 1100 kv 5687?

Trying to calibrate mine but it will not accept the brake? Wont bleep x3 and flash green, just stays red
@djp2257 . Make sure that your throttle knob on remote is dead center at zero before calibrating. Sometimes if it sees a a signal either way it won’t calibrate
My calibration forward and reverse keeps coming out backwards🤦🏿♂️
@mckee2jeff . Make sure your motor wires go A to A B to B C to C if running combo and sensored. And make sure the esc setting motor is CW or CCW
What do you have your turbo timing and delay set to?
@DigiDarkness . Everything on the esc was stock settings out the box, didn’t touch anything was gonna turn the bec up To 8.4v but still running the stock servo.
Hey. What brand is the motor mount?
@jorgeayala2326 . That’s a PnwRCmadness motor mount.
Does the G2 fit in the stock location for the Xmaxx/Xrt without any mods?
