After discovering the Zelda series as a teenager I decided to transcribe a whole load of tunes, particularly from Ocarina of Time, for the harp, because I loved them and lots of them are written for harp anyway! This solo arrangement of Fairy Fountain has been almost ten years in the making.

This music is from before the fairy ever laughed.
Matt K It’s a loop so it plays when the fairy appears. When you use the ocarina it stops the music and plays Zelda’s Lullaby and then it hops back into the loop so I’m used to hearing the fairy laughter as soon as the harp intro plays.
It really is unfortunate how there are rarely any harp players anymore

When I was younger, I only used to hear this song’s melody as the high strings on repeat. Now, I hear the melody as largely the low strings with the high strings accenting. Kind of interesting how the song stayed the same, but my ear for it changed.
I was just noticing the same thing when she was playing I was like “hey I didn’t realize there was a lower pitched melody going on” and I am hearing the lower pitched version in the background. when I was a kid I only heard the high pictched part. I know exactly what you mean, your perception of foreground and background music changes as you get older

It requires respect for someone to want to learn/alter a song in the first place. Obviously there is a tremendous amount of respect involved with learning the original piece to a T, but it's far from inherently disrespectful if someone makes alterations.
When a friend of mine excitedly said he wanted to remix a song I made, I was extremely flattered that my work had inspired him so much. I wasn't like "alright...but it better sound EXACTLY THE SAME..." or "fuck no, this was my vision, not yours."

Everyone needs to understand, regardless of the content in the video, people will dislike the video for the soul purpose because they just can, the option is there, hell half the dislikes on RUclips come from those who didn't even watch the video
@@akumabazooka9169 yea ok I can kind of understand those people who actually dislike content because theres a reason behind it, either they feel offended, they are jealous, they dont like the person behind it or whatever it is and just move on. But what I dont get is that there are some people who waste alot of their time and energy to something they dont like, commenting on every video of the person they dont like. disliking every video etc. like what are you doing with your life? Why dont you put this time and energy into something you enjoy doing instead of focusing on the things you dislike?
