The Deacon has more snap and energy to it while the V10 is more quiet and composed. If you're looking for that snappy and poppy feel with great grip, I'd go Deacon, but for more mellow of a ride and some more versatility, I'd lean to the V10.
The V10 is a much shorter turning ski than the Wingman. If you're looking to make shorter radius turns at slower speeds, then the V10 is the way to go, but for more aggressive skiing and harder-charging carves, the Wingman is a far more solid ski. Have fun! SE
I'd go narrower if you're looking for a more front side complement. Either the V8 or something like the Volkl Deacon 80 I think would make a bit more sense. have fun! SE
Love all your reviews! Which Head models would you say are closest to the V-10 (in terms of light weight, ease of use, etc) but better at speed (GS rather than SL)?
Hey Reza! The Kore 87, I think, is a good candidate--more all-mountain than front side, but has the light weight and ease of use, as well as a longer-turn preference for when you want to go faster. On the more GS side, the Supershape Titan is a ripping ski, but does not have the light weight or ease of use that the Kore or V10 has. Have fun! SE
How does the v10 compare to volkl deacon 79 for an intemediate/advanced 60+ skier ?

How do Head Shape V10 compare to Elan Wingman 82 CTI (turns, stability)? I'm an intermediate skier (180cm/5'11" and 95 Kg/210lb. Thanks!

Is it lighter than Atomic Q7 ? Thanks 👍
Yes, the V10 is pretty light.
