How does the V2 handle in powder or un groomed runs?

Hi, I'm 44 years old and 5.9.
Intermediate skiër who wants a comfortable carveski to improve my carving. Mostly on groomers. Blue and red. The v8 is a good choice for me? Wich length? 165 or 170?
I have last years V8 model, in 170, I'm 5'10" 185lbs if I had to do it again, I'd go with the 165, but I don't think there is really much difference. The 165s might be a bit easier to ski at medium speeds on Blues and east coast moguls.
Thank you for the review! A question: I had Head Prestiges 3 years ago (as a beginner) and I'm strongly focused on moving gradually to advanced skiing league. I really loved Prestiges, but I want something a bit "softer", but not TOO soft. The choice is between e-Rally and e-V8. Which ones do you recommend? Aren't Rallys the *same* as Prestiges, or a bit softer/forgiving? I'm afraid e-V8 could be too "beginners" version after Prestiges, uh?
the Supershape line is performance oriented, stiffer structure, more precise and quicker from edge to edge. perfect for experienced carvers.
the V-Shape serie is a bit less demanding, more forgiving, more adpated for intermediate, casual skiers.
If you want to progress as a good carver I would recommand the E-magnum if you mostly stay on well maintained groomed surfaces (+90% of the time). Take the E-rally if the snow conditions tend to degrade or if you minorly practice off-piste (70% groomed/30% off-piste), and choose the E-titan if you regularly ski off-piste (50%/50%).
@@xenomorphelv4265 Thank you mate - appreciate your recommendation! Hard to say on the pist conditions - they really vary, so I'd better think of the model to buy from *this* perspective: not MUCH experience, but a FAST learner and sport-type guy in general - Shape-V or Supershape? I want learning to be confortable and I ski for fun (Shape-V), but I don't want TOO much compromise in speed and dynamics (Supershape). Not an easy choice, uh? 🤔
@@hexensage196 the Supershape E-rally with a 78mm waist will be the best option to carve on groomed, but will be quickly limited once the snow level rise up or if you go off-piste.
the V-shape V10 (85mm waist) will give you more stability and ease of turn when the snow depth rise.
If you have not much experience go with the shape V10, it's a easier ski, more on the all around style, and give you enough performance to start/improve in carving.

@@xenomorphelv4265 Sorry to come back to this topic, but here's one thought which makes me think *against* V-series (in favor of Supershape): it seems like V8 (which I wanted to buy) has a very undtable toe on high speeds (= steep pists like red and even some blue ones). If this is true - it will really piss me. I know you talked about V10, but they should't be much different from V8 in terms of stability, uh?
The V2 was released in 2019, or 4 years ago, so it is hardly 'new'.
