I found these to be very efficient props that provide a lot of power. This is the prop that came stock on the Radiolink D460 Turbot which has unlimited vertical and tons of flight time. I just had to test one out on this plane ;-)

I switched the prop to a gemfan 7*5. Much more speed and equal in vertical, at the cost of some endurance... Be careful with the throttle too... Fast change of power can literally crack the front fuselage and/or unglue the motor mount. 😂

Can you progress on it? Out of stability mode? In aerobatics, whatnot? I know you have the 1.5 conscendo evo, but you have got to try the umx version! Nothing alike. It's much less maintenance, but still a great glider and SUPER fast. Thanks!

So, I'm progressing with it ;-)
I would love to test out the UMX version of the Conscendo but they keep making those out of EPS Foam which is the least durable foam I've seen.
If they made it from EPO or EPP Foam I'd pull the trigger on it.
I love the full size Conscendo ;-)
@GroundControlRC I 💯 agree. It scratches and dents easy enough. To be fair, the umx conscendo feels really solid and dense, making for a tougher finish. (Probably because the beads are slightly more dense)
The things that I dislike are the linear micro servos and as3x.
As3x does not improve flight quality. It makes it much worse. Especially when you add the servos that operate it. It leads to jittering and not so smooth flight characteristics in the wind.
At the end of the day, it's all about fun. But the umx conscendo is the hottest plane of the year. (Small)
And being an owner OF it, I've had mine for months without any major issues, other than the right wing servo going fluttering a bit after being soaked in snow.
The only weak points of the plane are the leading edge of the wings and the leading edge of the horizontal stabilizer. An easy mod was to stretch electrical tape, making it much smoother and much less rough, making for a greater glide slope.
The leading edge was dented, from landing in tall grass at high speeds.
Really, I wouldn't worry about the quality of the foam, I promise you it is more dense?? For reference, i own the umx turbo timber, Umx waco, and radian. Out of all of them, the conscendo had the strongest and smoothest finish. Making it feel like epo. It is also heavier, by a good bit. 4.7 Oz with the battery.
Horizon hobby could do so much better on the quality of umx planes, such as maybe not using 1 small piece of tape to hold the fuselage of the turbo timber evo together? Like, come on.
The foam could be a small bead epo, but it's a bit heavier.
