If you haven't read Waypoints, do it soon. It's a wonderful book with 2 story lines. I call it a "gentle read". My husband, who is also an Outlander fan, enjoyed it also.
This is true Sam... everything happened in your life, every ache, every suffering, every lack was a trial that life gave you to grow you up. Whatever has happened make you who you are now. Be grateful for the problems you had. They helped you to be the fantastic human being you are now❤❤❤
