Discovering this in 2024😮
Same!! How can we be so late to the party?? 😆
@@troubalore Right... how have I not discovered this until now?.. This is fantastic
How can there be no season 2? Deborah Ann Woll is the best DM in the business!
Sam Richardson is an absolute gem and I love seeing him on here!
We're so thankful to have R&R on RUclips. It's definitely not for granted. Well wishes for more R&R fun!
Loving R&R. :-)
Deborah Ann Woll is doing a great job as a DM. The Player Characters are doing great in their roles.
Loved the "Knock Knock..." bit on the prior episode. :-)
The "knock knock" joke was my favorite part so far!
Nacho cheese!!! 🧀 lol
“We don’t have currency here.”
“I’m leaving.” 😂😂
I honestly love the format Deborah has here with the more puzzle/mystery solving focused story for D&D. I definitely am gonna be drawing inspiration from this show for my horror/monster hunter campaign.
I also just love how excited and into it she is as are all her players 😊 She is basically always smiling, having so much fun, just like her players, and I love it
You have expressed my own sentiment perfectly, thank you.
She actually makes dnd5e fun....
My only complaint about R&R is it isn't long enough! Deborah is an amazing DM and is killing it. The sets are incredible and I am enjoying these sessions a lot. Keep up the great work fellow nerds!
I think this needs more attention than its getting
"mr fluffy"
"awww :D"
"he's a panther"
"OH D:"
So episode 1 was The Haunting, and this episode is sounding like The Village. If Deborah is drawing inspiration from horror films then I'm 5,000% behind this!
I love the cast and no enjoyment lost from the first episode but I just miss Scottish Shaggy.
I actually loved when he played in Scream. I keep forgetting he was also shaggy
Can't forget about SLC Punk! He was incredible in that movie, the best role he's ever had imo
Aw SWEET more relics and rarities!!!! This is slowly becoming one of my favorite dnd show ever- the quality is just so high and the role play is so dedicated its so impressive, amazing show!! c:
I couldn't agree more. I was saying the same thing. Easily the highest production value D&D series I've seen. Deborah is an amazing DM. Everyone who is playing a character is so dedicated and takes the game seriously while still having fun. My favorite D&D series online period.
The jungle/nature scenario here is awesome! Deborah did a great job at describing everything, but man, the beams of light in that room are BEAU-TI-FUL!
Hi guys, I'm just recently getting back into D&D, and first saw Deborah as "Twiggy". had no idea what an amazing DM she is. absolutely loving this show.
seymour clarity check her out on the stream of many eyes, she DM’s for Veros and Annabella with Matt and Marisha also playing and she does an awesome job there as well.
This is my first look at her as a DM and yes, she's very good. You should also check her out as a player in Season 2 of Gorce Grey playing a very different character from Twiggy
Praise to Deborah dm skill, she bring a new perspective for me on how to bring more energy into describing things and setting for my players thanks G&S and the R&R cast
This is phenomenal.
Everyone is enthusiastic and the energy is so wholesome!
I must say I'm very impressed and plan to continue watching as long as R&R continues to be posted on RUclips!
Of all the Campaigns I've watched through on RUclips. This is by far the best. I don't think you could have a better DM and the cast are brilliant.
Deborah Ann Woll... I literally love you. You are the perfect DM in my opinion. Can't wait new episodes of R&R...
That dance was mesmerising.
💀
This series is amazing. Deborah is such an engaging and inspirational GM. Seeing how everyone's performances drives the game is so precious and charming. And holy SHIT the attention to detail, the fact the set changes according to the themes and settings with such high quality production. Ugh. Beautiful.
Deborah Ann Woll is brilliant and innovative. Kudos on her concept for the starting trinkets.
a 1 on a stealth check as your first role is iconic.
I've been DMing for about 20 plus years now and I still learn so much from these videos. You can tell these guys are actors and they definitely make you feel like you are watching a movie play out.
Mr Fluffy is my new fave
Edit: "No no do the dance before the roll!" I love her as the DM
I know she couldn't just give it to him but he definitely should have gotten advantage on the roll because the performance was very good.
I like this campaign style of more lore-based or puzzle-based roleplay where it is focused on lore and puzzles rather than encounters and combat. There is still battles but I love the change in dynamics that I am not use to seeing
Already in love with this series! Deborah is a great DM and the players have do amazing voice acting
I first saw Deborah on season 2 of Matt's Force Grey group and loved her character Jamila. (her and Joe Manganiello play so well off of each other) I was super excited when I heard she would be DM'ing her own game. You can see her passion and love for D&D and her creativity is amazing.
With Sam's recent role in "Velma", that's two Shaggys in back to back episodes!
Love the stage and the props. It sets the mood so well.
This is an amazing show that really showcases the beauty of D&D and how easy it is to incorporate noobies into the game. Deborah is an amazing story teller and curio shop is breathtaking. If I could play in any of these games that are recorded relics and rarities is now my #1 and Aquisitions incorporated is my #2. I am eagerly awaiting part 2 of episode 2. Keep up the great work!!!!
As a rare item collector I really want to run a campaign like this...and when older I want to own an antique store and could run d&D games after hours with the idea of using items around the shop too. I use to write my own tabletop and board games so it would be fun and a bit easier for me to add power to objects I have around
Please please do this
I'm halfway through this episode and I am already in love with all of this.
It's WONDERFUL.
Deborah is a wonderful DM to listen to, I'm glad I found this
That dance was amazing.
I can't believe how enjoyable this is. An amazing DM and a great party! Everyone is just having so much fun!!!! I love it.
Deborah Ann Woll is one of the most engaging and interesting story tellers I have ever heard. looking forward to way more of this show!
I'm so glad I found this gem of a D&D game. And so cool to see how this session is so different yet still the same to the first one. Love it
This should totally be a series on Hulu or Netflix..
This is absolutely amazing! I don't even play D&D, but that was so much fun to watch that I want to start getting into the whole game system!
Deborah is such a great story teller
Xander is just such a delight
Yes! He he's fabulous
The best channel for your tabletop RPGs fix.

Rules nerd notes:
37:20 - IIRC, Fluffy is a panther; panthers have a climb speed of 40ft, so they generally wouldn't need to make a check to walk up a tree, even carrying a Small creature. (Panthers are "medium".)
But I guess they're using different stats; panthers from the monster manual only have a +2 to athletics (just their Str since they're not proficient), but at 37:32 Sam added +4.
42:32 - Going fast and stealthily: rules-as-written the ranger feature actually is only for themself, not a party. The party benefits in a ranger's favored terrain are that they can't become lost and difficult terrain doesn't slow the group's progress when travelling for an hour or more. The stealth benefit is worded:
> If you are traveling alone, you can move stealthily at a normal pace.
Not that I'm complaining that they didn't stop mid-game to double-check that rule; I was just curious myself.
This is just amazing. Can’t get enough of it
Love R&R and so happy to have it on RUclips but please PLEASE release the entire episode as one video. I much prefer to watch the entire episode at once rather than watch almost an hour and then have to wait days to watch the next part of the same episode.
The sets for this show are fantastic.
Best DM and D&D show yet
Loving this series so much!
I love the idea behind giving the random items at the start of the game. You may get something really good, or something that you may not need, either way, you take a chance.
I love this! I really hope there is a season two in the works (with Matthew Lillard).
This is such a great show, the set is always magical. I am amazed
Deborah is an amazing DM, and I loved her as Twiggy on Critical Role. She's the type of player I would LOVE to have at my table!
So loving Deborah as a DM. and all the smal ekstra things she brings in to the game. This is by far the best D&D on youtube. Sorry Matt M.
Damn! I need part 2 rn! Deb is an incredible DM! And the set? Omg what a gorgeous set!
I love all of these characters! Oh man I really don't have the time to watch yet another ttrpg show, but here we are...
This is amazing and the set is just gorgeous.
Love the show! I want the same time length as the last episode!
hell yeah finally much appreciated for this g&s
10:15 Rikki's response to no currency LMFAO
I cannot remember the last time that I grinned through and entire show. Please just keep making these =-)
My stars, I'm loving this!! Ive only entered the realm of dnd recently and this seems to be the summit to be reached. How I wish I could join one of her quests.
omg they change the set for every adventure....
I now have an even bigger crush on Deborah Ann Woll! And I love the atmosphere she creates. Very intriguing. 😊
Ahhh! Thought that maybe only episode 1 would be available! So happy to have R&R on YT!
Love Deborah's work. A gifted DM and great storyteller.
Quickly growing to love the Half-Orc. Love her blunt approach to narrative.
Will take a pass on future dancing, though. thanks.
Jasmine also DMs as Bronze Girl and is also quite good.
Have to disagree on the dance. I thought it was quite good.
Srsly? i wish i have one chance to play with this group! Deborah Ann Woll is rly great Dm- awesome storytelling skill. And that last episode? kinda Lovecraft style? That! was! EPIC! :)
Finally!!!! So excited to watch.
Dig the set, love the fresh take on D&D, and nice to see a diverse cast!
YO. It's much more obvious in this lighting but the choice to play this video in 24fps rather than 30 is pretty great. draws you into the story some more.
love this thank so much for putting it on youtube
This made me subscribe to Geek and Sundry
The moment I saw her in True Blood I fell in love with this woman. Now to see her here, melts my heart.
THANK YOU!
I am so very much in love with this series.
First time seeing Deborah Ann Woll DM and now I'm going to be on the look out for anything she(?) DMs because this is great. Also first time seeing sam richardson and he(?) is bringing such great energy to the character and to this table and his little reactions bring me so much joy. Also great at yes-and-ing (&low key smooth as hell like sir this is a horror rpg you can't do me like that I apologise if that's a little tmi). So much respect for anyone who shows up to a new table and dances like..👏👏👏get it. Xander (including nonbinary people in 2019 and saying we need to chat later tho:)seems like just a really solid person who's great at holding space at a table and wonderful at creating ins as well as actively following/leading with curiosity while making it fun. Xander's in my dream TTRPG table lineup whom I first saw in Shikar as is jasmine bhuller/ThatBronzeGirl who's the GM for that and love the worlds she creates in everything I've seen of her.
AHHH I loved the first one im so excited
This adventure so far reminds me a great deal of Changeling: The Lost games and that is my very favorite tabletop to play :)
Wow, the lighting is so fantastic!
I love these episodes.
Madame Woll (new fairy tale name?) is doing excellent! And this is only the 2nd episode ^^ the group is also good fun and really know how to portray their chrachters very engaging. I cant wait for more ^^ btw this makes me very interested in playing the game itself :D
FANTASTIC! but it's wayyyy too short! I enjoy the 4 hour Critical Role format but I realize that is not feasible for everyone. The first episode of this was a perfect length, most D&D streams seem to be about 2 hours, this feels like watching half of a show. Hopefully pt2 will be up soon, and we won't have to wait a week for the rest of the episode.
huh. i'm enjoying this series because it's short and presumably edited. 4hrs is helluva time commitment and easy for me to lose attention. as much as i love critical role, i stopped watching long ago because it's completely unedited and 4 hrs long per ep. too long to sustain attention for me. another point for this series is the DM. you can tell deborah is a storyteller. her DM style is ace!
With Alpha going down, I hope they pick up this show on Geek and Sundry.
What's happening with Alpha?
This is Geek and Sundry.
@@timgray5373 Geek and Sundry puts alot of their premium content on ProjectAlpha before anywhere else so thats what the other commenters are referring to.
Can I just say that Julia's shirt is awesome! Very neat retro style, reminds me of those 80s girl shirts 👍
Love it!
Deborah is very good. I love the series.
I am so glad this series is on here, twitch hates me and never works on my phone.
Also, RUclips adds keep being about depression. Should I be worried?
Mine are all for bad movies lol
Love R&R keep this goingggg!!!! More Celebrities too plz ;P
"We do not use any currency."
Kthnxbai
Wow these dances are glorious
I’ve never played D&D never knew anything about it till I watched the first video. Too bad I live so rural I’d love to play this with some people. I hope being 47 isn’t too old to learn.
These games can be played by anyone of any age. I'm 46 and have been playing roleplaying games since the early 90's. You should look for games online, they are a bit different than in person but can still be very fun. There are many different styles, rule sets and settings for games so be open to things and I think you will come to love it like I have.
Rikki and Veros are competing for my favorite characters.
I love how Annabelle and her cashmere gloves got her to climb higher than the ranger gnome XD
For anyone that watched Deborah DM on the stream if many eyes, wasn’t Briarcleft the name of the village that the adventurer’s went too in that one shot?
Cool little connection there if my memory is correct.
I love this! wish we got to see the character sheets though. Does anyone know what race and class everyone plays?
whoknows Annabella is a Bard, the gnome is a Druid flavored like an alchemist, the half orc is a ancestor spirit barbarian, and veros I believe is some sort of fighter. Maybe a champion.
love it as well
this is awesome!!!!! new to here, who are the players?
When Deborah said they had stew, I exclaimed, "THE STEW IS STUE!!!"
