Oh she sang this one with so much finesse. It didn’t take long to figure out that this was a quarantine song. Based on the subject of the song and the set up of the video. What an amazing song.
The first time I ever heard of her or saw her was at a town show. Town fair? I guess you guy's would say. She was doing a concert and the power went out and killed the sound. She kept going on with the concert accepella and belted it out. She has heaps of power.
Amazing reaction Nick.....Vanessa is an alien lol. Who sings like that? Awesome vocals and the passion just oozes from her ...What we all felt about being in isolation during the stinking Covid 19 lockdowns....She saaang how we all felt ...Love this girl...
It actually wasn't live. I was there. They didn't want to risk mic issues because she often clips. But actually, when you think about it, it was actually even more amazing that she didn't give away that it wasn't live. Like her lip syncing was perfect.
This was done for charity - a lot of artists released work for it (financial support for musicians/artists out of work during the onset of the pandemic here in Oz) - Virgil Donati being a legend on the kit there..... Mocky will defo know who the guitarist and engineer are.... waiting.... haha
There's two songs called Isolation on my list - you should compare this and Steven Page's song. Vocally, she's blowing everyone out of the water. But Steve's Isolation is upbeat, where this is more depressing. This one is from her album The Blacklisted Collection. You should check that album out.

The drummer on this track is Virgil Donati from Southern Sons
Her voice is so powerful she’s like the female Jimmy Barnes
Have you seen them both in the same room, at the same time. George?
Imagine Vanessa, Tina, John and Jimmy as a group. They’d blow the windows out. ❤️🇦🇺
@@julzhunt7790 They'd make the "I'll huff and I'll puff" big bad wolf redundant.

She is AMAZING 🤩
What a powerful voice
As always amazing vocals from Vanessa. Powerful song. What we all felt during lockdowns.
Great track by the musos - and she blows it out of the park as usual.
She needs to stay away from parks. Too many low flying birds.
@@Dr_KAP Kappy... sometimes...(exasperation)...
@@mrmockatoo6786 Jo Sedundary was looking for you on this post.. but don’t worry I covered for you 🙄 thanks kappy..
Shes amazing.
Wowsers!! Vanessa is incredible.
Have a look at her "heroes live forever" from the Sydney 2000 Olympics. She gives absolutely EVERYTHING for that performance!!!!!

@@AndyWarpol Where were you sitting & how could you tell it wasn't live?
Vanessa has one of the best Australian female voices out there, she has always been unbelievable. Love her 👏🤩🇦🇺👍
Best in the world. not just australia. let's be real.
There is a video on RUclips where Vanessa is singing I will always love you she is young
I know you were talking about her high nose, but I got to say I’m loving her lower notes and her lower register on this one.

Virgil from Southern Sons, since they've been featured here once or twice.
My vote would be for Rod Bustos on guitar; Steve Scanlon sound boy
@@kane29842 Yep... knew it was him but I'm not sure about the guitarist.. but Dr Kap has helped out once again with that !
@@Dr_KAP Same... tried to confirm it earlier but couldn't find anything solid.. thanks Dr Kap !... again.. haha
@@JoSedunary no worries. I’ll go hide now before I end up covered in red cordial
Put that on your List for no.2 channel - Interviews & documentary reviews 👌
You ask where she gets her range ? - She has said that she's just always been able to do it.
Ya Know Vanessa did a I am woman tribute to helen reddy live
I’m excited to see your sister mate! How can we watch her?

If you want to hear a voice like nothing you've ever heard.... Try NO MONO.... You'll never be the same after hearing his vocal range
React to something very current " Crash Now Burn" releases 6 months ago
I don’t really like her tone.. but that doesn’t change the fact that she’s one of the best vocalists of all time
Hello there!! I'm so waiting for you to react to Jazmine Sullivan's new single Motherless Child ❤🤞
