There isn't a shitty song by Death!!! One of the best bands in music
Agreed - the only band I know where the songs I rarely listen to still have at least 2-3 good riffs and some good lyrics. All albums are either really good or amazing, and most of them raised the bar for the underground metal scene!

THE best metal album of all time. Period
Perennial Quest was meant to be the last Death song.. since Chuck wanted to start on Control Denied (more progressive with cleaner vocals), he was forced by his record company to make one last Death album which is The Sound of Perseverance (1998). But anyway this song from Symbolic (1995) spoke to me more than any other Death song.. Jared would for sure be capable of playing these leads solos and riffs.. Great stuff guys. No problem. Jared and me love Death, and we are both on the Perennial Quest..

Yes!!! So glad you didn't just do Crystal Mountain like pretty much anyone else would have. Perennial Quest and Without Judgement are the best songs in the album.
Can't shit on Crystal Mountain though, it's an amazing song

Chuck was such a passionate guitar player.
Last song from Symbolic their second last album.
Chuck died late 2001 after a two year battle with brain cancer.
So so sorry for the loss of your Son Jared.

Also Im a old friend of Shannon Hamm Guitarist from DEATH 1996 to 2001 met him from another friend they were in a Local Houston Texas band called MetalStorm used to go see them play Shannon is an amazing Guitarist haven't seen him a long time ?

Guys, my nickname is Fabio Death. This band has been with me for the longest I can remember. It's even hard to say anything. When your kid told you that he was into Death....He knew it! it's not band you listen to right out. It takes time.

React to 1000 eyes. It's absolutely amazing. It's my favorite song of all time. Chuck really set the bar musically with that song. It gives me goosebumps whenever I listen to it. It will completely blow you away. It's so well written. The intensity is unbelievable. Absolute masterpiece. God bless you two.
It's funny everytime Chuck mentioned "filtering out the bad" I kept thinking about Kel trying to filter out the harsh vocals in some of the older videos.

Thank you for sharing Jared's story with us. I can't pretend to understand what you're going through. My son's name is Jared as well. We both play guitar and love going to shows together. I got my Jared a poison green Jackson this last Christmas. He rarely puts it down. In this way I feel I completely understand your feelings. Again thank you!

That rhythm riff that chuck hits there is honestly more devastating and powerful than the lead. That riff right there is one of the single greatest riffs ive heard in 20 years of metal. Never fails to send me to the cosmos
This is my favorite DEATH song. It speaks to me in ways most could not imagine. Glad you got to hear this GEM :D And that ending, right?? OMG!!!
Very emotional start for this reaction. I got a bit emotional wile you spoke of Jared and Cam, being a father myself. Not a huge death metal fan myself but there are a few bands i love and Death are top of that list. Brilliant song death just got better from 1 album to the next. Keep it metal 🤘🤘

DEATH super technical death metal....Mr.Bungle is one of the craziest bands you will ever hear....MEGADETH's Lucretia has one of the sickest beats in their repertoir and ANTHRAX medusa is an amazing song with a super catchy rhythm and great vocals....and PINK FLOYD "the gunners dream" is going to impress you a lot especially the lyrics,,,trust me my friends you will love each one of this songs

Sounds of perseverance was after this album. Plus Chuck put out an album with his band Control Denied before he passed. Chuck did not sing with Control Denied. That band had a more power metal type singer.
Control Denied - was Chuck Schuldiner's last band and last created music. It was basically Death with a melodic vocalist.

As Metalhead Necro86 mentions, it was meant to be the last Death song before Chuck went on to do Control Denied. The very last Death song was "A Moment of Clarity" from 1998's The Sound of Perseverance. The 3 last album closers from Chuck (Perennial Quest in 1995, A Moment of Clarity in 1998 and The Fragile Art of Existence in 1999) all had so good melodic moments. But considering Chuck's tragic fight with cancer and subsequent death in 2001, A Moment of Clarity hits a little harder imo. - the lyrics and the music as well.
