Hannah's Meadow is near to where you parked. Named after Hannah Hauxwell, who lived alone at Low Birk Hatt Farm without the luxury of electricity and running water. There was a documentary film about her life called ' Too Long a Winter '. The water she collected was from them very reservoirs you car camped at. Bit of interest there, and it is a good film to watch.
Remember her well ..amazing documentary..amazing woman 👍 got her book too 👍👍

What l like about your channel you keep everything simple and basic not like the bloke from Kent who comes into the woods builds a small housing estate then trys to cook a half a cow
you will enjoy galloway pal thats where i live ,its overlooked by many people who visit scotland yet one of most beautiful areas with loads of ancient history.
Adam after hearing that you are the black sheep of the family finally makes sense... I could tell with your personality and never say sorry to "mum" because you're not a sheep as most humans are, you know you know... Us "black sheep" are actually quite unique and arn't afraid to actually do what they want to bloody do in life that makes them happy, not living to make others happy and please them!!!

You know that microwave rice?….if you quick fry it instead of using water to boil it, it comes out a lot better. (On some packs it says you can either fry, boil or nuke it.) you may have to add a smidge of water….

Love the hair 👍. On your way back down from Scotland, you can always go via Lancashire and drive through the Trough of Bowland & Pendle Hill . There are lots of great walks through fab countryside, plus there is also the 45 mile Pendle Way which can be done in 8 sections. There are plenty of parking spots through the Trough and also around Pendle Hill for you to stay overnight . People underestimate Lancashire........it's not all grim up north as many think it is 🤣. Looking forward to seeing your tour in Scotland.
There are quite a few nice park ups in the trough of Bowland, proper wilderness! Also nearby look for Jubilee tower for a stunning view of Morecambe bay.
He should totally go along the coast of Lytham, Blackpool, Bispham & Fleetwood too.
Loads of free overnight parking!

So glad you are doing the Scotland trip, my homeland. Great investment with the midgie hat, you will need it up there. A few we places you might be interested in, The Solway coast is beautiful, I heard you mention Dumfries, that's near my home village of Kelloholm. Sanquhar is a nice wee town, Moniaive a cute wee village, so many beautiful place and walks. Have a great time.:)

one thing i knowns about u Adam ur always smiling and happy which is a great thing and u take ur ur views with ur on ur journeys .. btw petrole stations in sctoland the farther u go the more that dont pop up and I always had them on my sat nav cos they`re like gold dust in station the higher u go in the highlands

Adam keep a alarm in ur sat nav if u have a tom tom that is i alway keep it on it tells u when ur going up to petrol station in scotland they`re like gold dust .. head over to it in the village of Dornie postcode IV40 8DX scene is awseome u love the castle there it has been in loads of films including highlanders

I know that midgy pain dude. I stayed in a place where the air was humming from them. Their where so bloody many. Drove us insane for two night. Back in my army cadet days 🙂.
Your making me want to go to Scotland and do some wild camping. But like you its going to take me a while to kit out my crib. Fingers crossed ill be doing it next year. Have an awesome time. Jealous mate 😁🤘

The hardest part is deciding where to go! The first few times for me, solo van camping took a bit of getting used to, but honestly mate its just as much fun as Adams videos when your out for a few nights with only a vague plan :)

I was thinking the same thing about the reservoir overflow as you said it! Wow can I get that car detailer out down here to do our crib? Bloody midges 😡. I react to the bastards. Olive oil mixed with dettol my step mother use to use on her. Messy but it saved her getting infected bites. Really looking forward to your Scotland vids AND the beanies! 🇦🇺🌸

Well here I am. I’m finally on the Scotland trip. 🙌 it’s taken me since last October to get to this point. I’ve followed in your footsteps on some of your trips. And some of your trips I’ve done over the last 20 years or so. Will I ever catch up to present day vids. Might have to do one new one old from this point.

Our key fob stopped working this morning , a message came up on dashboard about faulty key fob needed replacing, when we opened car this morning , car alarm went off and key wouldn't start the car , we have a vauxhall like you , luckily we had another key fob otherwise we wouldn't of been able to drive car until we brought new key ,have u got another one xx

Hi Adam, enjoy your trip, it’s been a while in the making. Funnily enough I did the North Coast 500 in January 2019. And I did it in a….Zafira!! I remember taking out the front passenger seat though to make room for supplies etc. and just did my cooking/brewups on a gas stove in the footwell! I put a single mattress in the back and slept like a king every night haha. Thing was the whole NC500 was empty and I barely met another soul. It was the trip of a lifetime to be honest. Absolutely stunning scenery, like I’ve never seen before. Our country is highly underexplored I think. Anyway, I didn’t feel like I was slumming it coz I was heading to India in February with my Dad for a two week 5star trip that he was treating us both to. And I then converted a little Mercedes Citan and did the same Scotland trip in 2020! Great fun doing it stealth, and never, ever paying for a campsite.
