This is for anyone curious. The ingredients are honestly not ment to make them seem healthy, but to run along with the theme of the drink. Jug with milk makes your bones strong, crocodile eggs idk honestly, maybe because crocodiles have strong jaws? Spinach because we were told it would make you strong like popeye, gumption to keep going on, and iron circles back to why spinach was encouraged to us. Speed cola is just the ultimate WW2 energy drink. Quick rev the chicken broth is, I'm assuming, because chicken noodle soup is a "cure-all" for when your sick as a kid, and trench water from russia I'm not too sure on, honestly. Adrenaline because that usually helps you ignore pain, and sometimes brought back from certain conditions. But the rest is because the smell is so atrocious, it'll snap you back from being unconscious lol. Stamina obviously the high octane gas is because you'll be speeding around like a high end car, I guess the idea of the jumping bean is because it's going off the phrase "...bouncing around like a jumping bean.". The capsaicin because it's really hot so itll make you bounce and run around like a cartoon character looking for relief. And the lemon and lime is to correlate with its older color pallet. Vitamin k, I guess to make sure you have strong bones to keep up with your new found energy? Elemental pop, I guess they thought of the elements of the periodic table, or some of the ingredients necessary to make black powder, and threw some stuff in there, then added aetherium in there to add to the changing properties of the bullets. Idk, this one kinda feels last minute. Deadshot, has some of the igredients to that would go into a daiquiri, then some to add flavor? I'm guessing the "eye of newt" is to emphasize you'll be pin point with your shots and able to "shoot a mustard seed, with ease". Tombstone, these are all going for the embalming corps side of things. With duplicator spirits, reconstituted perk essence to emphasize you'll still have your guns and perks there. And the silicone to either keep your stuff momentarily suspended, or to bind this unholy amalgamation together. You already got mule kick lol Death perception, the carrot juice is because they supposed help with eyesight, formaldehyde and postmortem probiotics to go for the "death" side of the drink, and the rest feel like they ran out of ideas. PhD slider with castor oil and banana peels to fit with the slippery theme.
For Elemental Pop, those aren't just random elements. Those are chemicals commonly used in fireworks. Magnesium is used for bright white sparks, zinc makes smoke, sulfur is used in the fuel, calcium deepens color, and phosphorus is used for fire effects, or as part of the fuel. Not sure what the chromium is for, but apparently it burns silvery white. Could be for something else to fit the theme.
Allow me to add a bit more information: Quick Revive: The reason why there’s Trench Water in there is because it’s a reference to Primis Nikolai’s quote in Origins “Ugh! On the topic of PHD, the fact that the second ingredient (which also means the second most prevalent ingredient by proportion, the positioning on the list corresponds with how much of it there is in relation to the other ingredients) is nitroglycerin actually reminds me of a story I heard. Back around the turn of the 20th century, miners used nitroglycerin relatively frequently for the purposes of mining. What you need to understand about nitroglycerin is that it's quite unstable, which is why the invention of dynamite was such a big deal that the inventor, Alfred Nobel, got a scientific award named after him, because dynamite was a good way to stabilize nitroglycerin. Nitroglycerin is a liquid at most temperatures that are survivable by humans, but it tends to be much more stable in cooler environments than hot ones. Onto the story at hand, there was a miner in the winter of 1905, who, like I would imagine many miners of the time would, spent his evenings at the bar drinking. For some reason or another, he had a bottle of nitroglycerin with him. As a drunken dare, or as a flex, or something, the miner drank the entire bottle of nitroglycerin. It was snowing out, and during his walk home, he ended up passing out. I can't remember if he died of the cold, or if he died later, but it wasn't the toxicity of the nitroglycerin that killed him. Someone saw him passed out on the side of the road, and took him home to warm him up at the fireplace, when the nitroglycerin reacted and detonated inside his body.

Well from what I've been told, the Perk a Cola's were made with Element 115 and since Element 115 made the zombies happen, I feel like taste and all the side effects you mentioned might be the least of your worries. But yeah, due to the mystical nature of Element 115 I feel like that's the reason our characters in zombies don't get any of these effects at all but since Element 115 (and by that I mean Element 115 from the games and not the real life element) doesn't exist I'd say this is accurate. That being said though, my theory to what would happen if The element 115 was real and you drank a perk-a-cola is that you probably would get a power up of some kind but it would only be a matter of time until the ingredients killed you, and since you just drank element 115 your corpse would probably re-animate into a zombie, or worse if you've drank multiple perks you could probably turn into some kind of Super zombie with fast swinging arms thanks to speed cola, Fast running due to stamin up and you get the idea.
@@muddygravy Memory loss, Psychosis, Induced illusions and Paranoia actually. It's when the ingredients from the Perk-a-cola's kill you that the real problems from Element 115 begin to kick in.
Another thing about the "Trench Water (Product of Russia)" in Quick Revive, that's in reference to Primis Nicholai's quote after drinking Quick Revive in BO2 Origins which is "Uhgck, it tastes like dirty trench water."
If you want another point of view, the ingredients on the perks just are jokes or things that you can relate with what the perk does: Tombstone soda.- half the ingredients to preserve your body, other half to create the copy that will revive you Phd slider.- leaving aside that they are all poison or dangerous, they meant to add that "explosive" property to your body Speed cola.- enough sugar/caffeine can make anybody look like a little kid that just had any kind of sugar; add drugs on top Death perseption.- carot juice to see them better, that radar shit to know their location Mule kick.- i heard someone say that it just makes you so drunk that it makes you forget that you are only meant to carry two guns Other perks like quick revive just have random shit that the original four characters used to say about them when drinking them
Okay, Death Perception is hella useful if you're a jumpy little fucker like me and you're not expecting that last zombie who's taking his sweet time tryna find you and pops out from out of nowhere and you suddenly find that number one you've been holding for a good half hour ends up in the front of your pants... (never actually happened to me but... IT MIGHT AS WELL HAVE 😂)
not to dismiss the original video, but death perception is one of the best FIRST PERKS to grab if you have it upgraded. It grants bonus crit damage and 20% extra salvage from salvage drops. that makes a huge difference when it comes to upgrading your gear. The main effect of seeing zombies through walls is kinda ho-hum, sure, but its upgrades are must have for early game setup
This the reason that the characters only take one sip instead of the whole thing because the serving size says the whole thing but you are only taking one sip.
Funny thing happened while watching this at 4:52 the moment he says "and this why he says this" I got the Burger King ad and I was like "oh look perfect timing."😂
While it’s dangerous it’s still kinda fun seeing them use real life stuff as ingredients, like the one of tombstone soda makes so much sense that embalming liquid would be in the drink considering it’s related to dead body in a epitaph/tombstone
9:21 I'm pretty sure it is, as the daily value percentages are very low, so i think it was supposed to be milligrams. (Unless, of course, people in this universe need insane amouts of salt for nutrition)
Its moments like thus that remind me that they only take a sip from the perk and don't down the entire can. So either every can has a small sip or just a sip is enough to give you god abilities until you go down
Would the Cold War recipes be different than the others because I think in bo3 Dr Monty had a factory of them and he could’ve just used magic or some shit like he used with the gobble gums
2:56 To be fair, the majority of those or atleast a large portion are probably used up as fuel for the body considering the stuff you do ingame must be an intense workout for the characters
no way you called new tombstone "who's who but worse"... its so much better than what who's who was... and death perception is pretty good when ypu upgrade it since it lets you get more salvage from drops and see weapons through walls you might not have seen otherwise...
i refuse to believe you just called new tombstone better than who's who who's who just was on a dogshit map, that's its biggest downside. new tombstone is genuinely useless, and if you go down in tombstone you are just fucked. i'd rather abuse self-revives.
I'd like to see their other counterparts in comparison. Example juggernaut drink compared to the juggernaut suit, Mule Kick compared to just having a extra Holster, PHD Flopper vs Ruin Spike drop ability
What will these perks do to me? Let's see here... Jug: Kill me Speed Cola: Kill me Quick Revive: Kill me Double Tap: Kill me Stamin-up: Kill me P.H.D: Kill me Elemental Pop: Kill me Death Perception: Kill me Deadshot: Kill me Mule Kick: Kill me Tombstone: Kill me
13:59 it is until you upgrade it then it becomes a godsend. Enemy armor breaks way faster, you can see scrap or Intel through walls, you can see creates through walls in outbreak, but best of all you can get scrap from enemies way faster
i believed the powdered radar and carrot juice in depth perception are referencing the old WWII myth that carrots helped you see. The British launched a campaign after they devoloped better radar equipment to trick the nazis into thinking that carrots were the reason they were better at shooting down the nazi planes. It was actually just better radar equipment not carrots being fed to spotters.
great video about the wonderful ingredients inside these delicious drinks. I am also delighted to inform you My liver and kidneys have taken your challenge.
I mean the ingredients are a joke anyway or they're just there to nerf the element 115/Atherium. In reality (If all are maxed out via Coldwar) Jug would make you have a higher pain resistance, more courage in a fight and make it easy as hell to bulk up. Speed would allow you to have quicker reactions. Staminup would increase your speed, endurance and prevent your bones from breaking thus meaning you could jump off a skyscraper and instead of turning into a pancake you land like it's nothing. Quick res would allow you to recover from illness and injury faster. Tombstone(While being the worst perk in Coldwar cause you literally spend all your points just to get your stuff back) would just make you harder to kill. Death Prep(Tier Five death prep OP idgaf) would basically be like spider sense. Deadshot improves hand eye cordnation. Elemental would basically just allow you to swap ammo types without needing to reload by turning the bullets into different elemental bullets in the mag. PHD would allow you to literally nuke opponents just by jumping from a higher up place(one time use if you don't have Staminup. Mule kick would increase your strength. All together you become a literal Supersoldier but the downside is that when you inevitably die you're turning into a super zombie meaning everyone is fucked. Edit: Theres a reason you only drink a swig and not the whole bottle or can.
Dude I made these all with a FEW improvised materials, and in true honesty, they didn’t taste that bad (except for quick revive that shit was HORRENDOUS)
I am almost certain the sodium being written in g rather than mg was a typo, since those would easily exceed nearly 1,000x the daily recommended amount and yet they're still listed in modest amounts (like elemental pop with 2% RDV)
So IRL, it basically just cola flavored drugs. Jugger: Steroid (Provide better muscle and tissue healing) combinated with some form of anesthetic drug (Provide better pain tolerant). Color doesn't really contribute anything to base flavor aside from psychological aspect but I pretty sure it taste like Caramel with a slight fat texture from the milk. Speed-cola: Meth (Help user forcus and done their task more effective). Yeah, just it, pretty sure it taste like sugar as well since that what Mountain Dew are. Quick-revive: A bit tricky as its effect tooks place eithee outside the user body (Rev a teammate) or it took place after the user is heavilly injured, i.e knock down. However, considering it effect is somewhat similar to Jug but in difference form, I believe it is another type of steroid that can only takes effect when the right hormons is releashed into the body, which could be adrenaline. As for taste, I think it taste like that kind of no suggar drink you use in gym that give you electrolite. Mule kick: Just an energy drink at best. It allows you to sustain your strenght a little while longer by carrying 3 weapons at once so I doubt it had any significant effect. However, there maybe some steroid in the mix to avoid flamitory when over-excercise. Bet it taste like Speed-cola. Double-tap Rootbeer: First off, taste like any regular Rootbeer. However, as for how you suppose being able to output double the ammount of projectile then it is the Eather's magic. There aren't any IRL counterpart. Perhasp LSD as it give you halucination? Even then, make no sense as halucination aren't real. P.H.D Flooper: Same thing with Double-tap, it is Eather's magic as the explosion manifest itself. However, as for how explosion and fall damage, it will be similar to how Jug work. Stamin-up cola: Fairly easy as similar Mule Kick. The anti-flamitory of the steroid takes quite a significant role on helping the user to be more resilient on long distance run or sprinting even. Deadshot Daiquiri: Functiom the same as Speed cola as it help the user more forcus. However, unlike speed cola, it also help user develope muscle memory, i.e lock-in headshot. This may because it use steroid as compliment drugs as well.
This is for anyone curious.

So enough booze to kill a man got it
I mean... that's definitely the implication
Imagine drinking elemental pop and then punching someone and they're brain just explodes or gets lit on fire
i'm mostly sure "Pure Gumption" is an in-lore term for "liquid courage". referring to strong alcohol, and more specifically: Gin.
so... Nikolai is drinking a really chunky puke and rust flavored punch.
That is just nasty.
death perception doesn't just outline zombies, it increases salvage drop and increases critical damage by about 25%
15:38 If you REALLY was playing BOCW, then you should know that tier 5 Death Perception lets you pick up 20% more salvage, deal more damage to enemies armor and keyline all chests, salvages and item drops so it's not that waste of a perk
And also Elemental Pop jingle is good no questions asked
fr wtf😭
I just paused and blurted “fuck you” at the screen. Genuinely a decent perk on round based and a game changer on outbreak.
@@StixOf7 exactly
It’s not waste of perk but it definitely should not be drinked in real life.
10PM me:”one more video”
3AM me:
Well from what I've been told, the Perk a Cola's were made with Element 115 and since Element 115 made the zombies happen, I feel like taste and all the side effects you mentioned might be the least of your worries.
But yeah, due to the mystical nature of Element 115 I feel like that's the reason our characters in zombies don't get any of these effects at all but since Element 115 (and by that I mean Element 115 from the games and not the real life element) doesn't exist I'd say this is accurate.
That being said though, my theory to what would happen if The element 115 was real and you drank a perk-a-cola is that you probably would get a power up of some kind but it would only be a matter of time until the ingredients killed you, and since you just drank element 115 your corpse would probably re-animate into a zombie, or worse if you've drank multiple perks you could probably turn into some kind of Super zombie with fast swinging arms thanks to speed cola, Fast running due to stamin up and you get the idea.
thrasher lore?!
exposure to 115 has a side effect of memory loss and prolonged exposure turns you into a zombie, the perk-a-colas have minimall 115 at best🤓
@@muddygravy Memory loss, Psychosis, Induced illusions and Paranoia actually.
It's when the ingredients from the Perk-a-cola's kill you that the real problems from Element 115 begin to kick in.
drink everything and you turn into a superboss
@@PyreOManiac Oh god... the Perk-a-holic gobblegum.
Another thing about the "Trench Water (Product of Russia)" in Quick Revive, that's in reference to Primis Nicholai's quote after drinking Quick Revive in BO2 Origins which is "Uhgck, it tastes like dirty trench water."
3:59 “Has 0-60 Calories”
Imma Find Who Wrote That
“how much sodium did you say was gonna be in these?”
Treyarch: “Yes”
JESSE WE NEED TO MAKE SPEED COLA
If you want another point of view, the ingredients on the perks just are jokes or things that you can relate with what the perk does:
Tombstone soda.- half the ingredients to preserve your body, other half to create the copy that will revive you
Phd slider.- leaving aside that they are all poison or dangerous, they meant to add that "explosive" property to your body
Speed cola.- enough sugar/caffeine can make anybody look like a little kid that just had any kind of sugar; add drugs on top
Death perseption.- carot juice to see them better, that radar shit to know their location
Mule kick.- i heard someone say that it just makes you so drunk that it makes you forget that you are only meant to carry two guns
Other perks like quick revive just have random shit that the original four characters used to say about them when drinking them
Tbh the quick revive's russian trench water could be a reference to the Attack of the Dead Men, but im not sure
And elemental pop having different metal salts that burn in different colors
You know after looking at these i understand why our characters only take one sip
4:58 “I think Dempsy’s right, it is a bit fishy”
Great video mate , you deserve so many more subs keep it up! :)
Wow! Thank you. I definitely will.
The zombies legally must wait for you to finish drinking the entire perk bottle before resuming the chase.
This the reason that the characters only take one sip instead of the whole thing because the serving size says the whole thing but you are only taking one sip.
Funny thing happened while watching this at 4:52 the moment he says "and this why he says this" I got the Burger King ad and I was like "oh look perfect timing."😂
This is one of the most original RUclips video I’ve seen in awhile, great video bro!
I was today years old when i discovered that witches have been putting mustard in their potions all this time.
😄
PHD Slider, a lifetime of salt in a moment's notice
0:04 dudes got that mark rober music
Its a great song. Couldn't resist
This dude did not just say Cold War death perception is a waste of a perk
And I'll say it again lol
@@TheZigg 20% more salvage drops and 25% increase to armor penetration
@@TheZiggbro u also said that elemental pop's jingle sucks😢😢😢
@@RafeFrostpeople in this community just have a hate boner for cold war.
Overall, it's pretty pointless in well-lit maps, but on Outbreak it's a necessity. It's as dark as DOOM 64 on that map.
Its moments like thus that remind me that they only take a sip from the perk and don't down the entire can. So either every can has a small sip or just a sip is enough to give you god abilities until you go down
1:45 Stulinger was right all along, it does give you courage!
I just got why staminup has all those gutwrenching ingredients, it literally gives you the runs
so glad they just have a sip
11:14 Note that Deadshot Daiquiri includes 'caine sugar, NOT cane sugar. You are drinking cocaine.
Good eye. I didn't pay attention to that
Would the Cold War recipes be different than the others because I think in bo3 Dr Monty had a factory of them and he could’ve just used magic or some shit like he used with the gobble gums

You're probably right
What're you talking about? The EP song is HEAT! Also final teir of DP makes it extremely good. Other then those, great video.
dawg, in a single game you can gain a litteral 100 lbs worth of theoretical weight. you turn into a litteral tank
Geez that's insane. I did not think about that
no way you called new tombstone "who's who but worse"...
its so much better than what who's who was...
and death perception is pretty good when ypu upgrade it since it lets you get more salvage from drops and see weapons through walls you might not have seen otherwise...
i refuse to believe you just called new tombstone better than who's who
who's who just was on a dogshit map, that's its biggest downside. new tombstone is genuinely useless, and if you go down in tombstone you are just fucked. i'd rather abuse self-revives.
Tombstone is still buttcheeks compared to the bo2 one
Which is why Dempsey says this: "RUclips Premium is ad free RUclips."
What a well placed ad.
I'd like to see their other counterparts in comparison. Example juggernaut drink compared to the juggernaut suit, Mule Kick compared to just having a extra Holster, PHD Flopper vs Ruin Spike drop ability
man whenever he says how much sodium these perks has i just cant stop laughing
I was wondering anyone noticed. Most of these would probably kill with just the sodium
What will these perks do to me? Let's see here...
Jug: Kill me
Speed Cola: Kill me
Quick Revive: Kill me
Double Tap: Kill me
Stamin-up: Kill me
P.H.D: Kill me
Elemental Pop: Kill me
Death Perception: Kill me
Deadshot: Kill me
Mule Kick: Kill me
Tombstone: Kill me
Well not all of them will cause instant death. It'll take time. But yea lol
Well, if you decided to drink the whole bottle.
But the characters did take a sip, so they will be fine. But not fine if they drank the whole thing.
Suddenly it makes sense why they all only take a gulp of these stuff
Mountain Dew is legit just speed cola irl
Also, element 115 is also added in there and will probably make you die or go insane. IF the other stuff doesn't kill you. Or turn you into a zombie
I thought, phd. would have liquid radiation or something because it stops explosive damage
No wonder why the characters only take a tiny sip
15:14 realistically would probably be sweat
The PHD Flopper bottle being pointed at the guts is absolutely devious
This video was very well put together... Thanks and keep it up!
I think im gonna enjoy Stamin-Up Soda.
15:38 - “It's an absolute waste of a perk.”

Get bad grades and pop a joggernog
0:15 what would happen if you drank a zombies perk plays Minecraft drinking sound
U mean what would happen if you drank a zombus perk 😅
13:59 it is until you upgrade it then it becomes a godsend. Enemy armor breaks way faster, you can see scrap or Intel through walls, you can see creates through walls in outbreak, but best of all you can get scrap from enemies way faster
i believed the powdered radar and carrot juice in depth perception are referencing the old WWII myth that carrots helped you see. The British launched a campaign after they devoloped better radar equipment to trick the nazis into thinking that carrots were the reason they were better at shooting down the nazi planes. It was actually just better radar equipment not carrots being fed to spotters.
the characters do only drink 1 sip, so it’s possible to survive from some of them 😂
great video about the wonderful ingredients inside these delicious drinks.
I am also delighted to inform you My liver and kidneys have taken your challenge.
Oh no what have I done
@@TheZigg update: I lost
Waltuh, I'm not making Speed Cola with you right now.
It angers me that protein is spelled wrong on the perks, I don't know how that wasn't patched in the game lol
Dude, it’s 12 AM and I’m watching this. I should be sleeping.
You still have the recipes written down?
Why wouldn’t I? I am a maniac with free time@@TheZigg
I am almost certain the sodium being written in g rather than mg was a typo, since those would easily exceed nearly 1,000x the daily recommended amount and yet they're still listed in modest amounts (like elemental pop with 2% RDV)
Yo monty tripn
*drinks one perk*
"Something horrible is happening to my insides!"

Thanks for the support Nick!
Speed cola is basically the most powerful dose of caffeine to the power of 10000000
Wait so jug is just the placebo effect 😭 It convinces you that you are strong and invincible
Bro staimin up would be Makable in reality if it wasn’t for the damn gasoline😂
It’s literally all pre workout protein and cocaine mixed together
Da hell am i watching in the middle of the night again ??😂
