This is heartbreaking for me to hear. I’m sorry the system failed you and your children. This young lady passed away in 2022. Such a beautiful soul. Sending prayers to you and your family.
The system may have failed her but her mom failed her first. Allowing a 14 year old to stay with another family while she go better herself 🤷♀️ Then she allowed her to go once again and to be shacking up with some guy at his grandma house making babies. She had too many adult freedoms as a child.
I have a friend now in rehab. She's 30 years old and been on drugs since 18. It's really sad watching her destroy herself and her family. By the grace of God She's still alive. Until the individual is rock bottom committed too recovery it's a hectic journey. I pray God saves and deliver this young lady and continue to protect her little family. 🙏🏾

There’s no telling what she experienced in those foster homes , such a beautiful girl fighting demons relying on drugs & sex to fund her habit. Poor thing but luckily JM handled this with grace. RIP ❤
Judge Mathis touched on some important facts👌🏽 When my aunt lost her children they wouldn't give them to my mother either because of a felony, at 9 years old I knew that was wrong because they were practically at our house every day... regardless of the criminal record the kids would be better off with family As for her daughter I hope she gets herself together since the mother is not able to get the children but she has a long road ahead of her, too young to be overdosing so many times

You gotta have a plan for yoir kids. Just because they have ability doesnt mean you just let them wonder atound. Gotta put them on a program and set up goals. All you say is true. Hopefully, you are telling as many people as possible that. Many don't know that and would benefit from that information. However, also keep in mind that many educated, well-trained, well-raised, and accomplished people become addicts.
@sereneamani1713 I would definitely not say "many." A few, yes. But the majority of people who end up like this come from broken homes and chaotic structures.
I'm personally glad they were denied and the kids were sent elsewhere, because it SHOULD serve as a lesson to future single parents that this could happen. Now will it? Probably not, but it definitely should serve as a deterrent. In this case, the system is working exactly as it should, in my opinion.
