    I hate that i looked her up to find out she passed away.. i was really hoping she got better.. she reminds me of my daughter, very respectful and soft spoken.. this hurt my heart

    This episode was soo emotional. I loved hearing JM speak because everything he said was A1! Spot on! The government and police force doesn’t care about society.

    The system may have failed her but her mom failed her first. Allowing a 14 year old to stay with another family while she go better herself 🤷‍♀️ Then she allowed her to go once again and to be shacking up with some guy at his grandma house making babies. She had too many adult freedoms as a child.

    I have a friend now in rehab. She's 30 years old and been on drugs since 18. It's really sad watching her destroy herself and her family. By the grace of God She's still alive. Until the individual is rock bottom committed too recovery it's a hectic journey. I pray God saves and deliver this young lady and continue to protect her little family. 🙏🏾

      I was living with my boyfriend since 16 I’ve went through depression never picked up a piece of crack or no heroine. The mother did the best she could that was an adult that made them choices. She didn’t start getting high until she was grown.

    It's really no one's fault but the defendant for her life. Even as a teenager, you know the difference between right and wrong. There's nothing that can be done for someone determined to do the wrong thing.

      She was battling depression and had a boy influence her.. That is hard to shake as a teenager/adult at 18 smh. Sadly I see she has passed away smh.

    There’s no telling what she experienced in those foster homes , such a beautiful girl fighting demons relying on drugs & sex to fund her habit. Poor thing but luckily JM handled this with grace. RIP ❤

    Judge Mathis touched on some important facts👌🏽
    When my aunt lost her children they wouldn't give them to my mother either because of a felony, at 9 years old I knew that was wrong because they were practically at our house every day... regardless of the criminal record the kids would be better off with family
    As for her daughter I hope she gets herself together since the mother is not able to get the children but she has a long road ahead of her, too young to be overdosing so many times

    You gotta have a plan for yoir kids. Just because they have ability doesnt mean you just let them wonder atound.
    Gotta put them on a program and set up goals.
    Cause eventually theyre just gonna wonder their way into some dumb stuff thats gonna ruin their lives.
    Mom painted a pretty picture, but it sounds chaotic and that's how she got into all that stuff.
    Both daughters going the same route.

    I'm personally glad they were denied and the kids were sent elsewhere, because it SHOULD serve as a lesson to future single parents that this could happen. Now will it? Probably not, but it definitely should serve as a deterrent. In this case, the system is working exactly as it should, in my opinion.

    I hate to say it, but this could have been prevented if the mother actually had taken care of her child. There’s no way in hell she should have allowed her daughter to go with live with her friends just to appease her, like wtf? Idgaf how she felt about where they lived, at the end of the day YOU’RE the parent! It’s sad because it seems like the second daughter also was failed in a way because her mother had no plans for her either….
    Unfortunately it sounds like the daughter has passed away, completely preventable… so sad RIP to her…

    Raising girls is a totally different ballgame without a father figure involve, raised 8 children 2 girls and 6 boys, Myself and the wife couldn't do it without God, now the children are all great adults and good members of society. The only college graduate is an Army Officer, who flies the Apache Helicopter. God first.

    Trauma is real.. we cant blame mom.. she did the best she knew since she was raised in a traumatizing environment. Ignorance is lack of knowledge i feel 4 the entire family. Mom is fighting demons and trauma.

    17 is the regular age to graduate unless year birthday is late in the year then you graduate at 18 in Maryland

    Wow I just so happened to look her up on Facebook, and her mom tagged her with an urn with her ashes in it. Carlisha ha died toward the end of 2021😢 Just like Judge Mathis said the system failed this girl twice😢😢😢 I wish he could’ve helped her when this was aired😔
